You did great in a learning nite. You and tanner have a great bond. My son (43 yrs old) and I (68) are huge fans of both of you. We used to live in Roseburg but now live between the "Grove" and Willamette Speedways.
👍 couple of observations, you can hear that 4 striker bellow over a whole lineup of the 2 strikers, carly is sooo good with her throttle control, and carly is fearless!
Awesome job Carly. Tanner is was awesome you let her run the car and gave her a good setup! Awesome to see your guys unselfishness towards one another.
Well done Carly, the family and fans would be so happy and proud of you. Tanner great job as team owner and crew chief. Maybe Carly deserves a payrise. Lol. Cheers from Australia.
I have always loved when smaller engines not just beat bigger engines but beat up on them. With that said I enjoy watching Tanner and now you Carly in the 18t with that 450 especially with the tongue that it has. With your tenacity behind the wheel it just showed how much of a beast you are behind the wheel of the cart. Not to mention how good The 18t is with another driver behind the wheeo. Tanner either has the makings of a great driver/ owner/ crew chief or just is a great all of the above. I believe that having the experience in the 18t that he does have and knowing how you like to run and how your car is typically set up helps out a ton to be able to adjust the cart to get it to where you or any other driver needs it to get the best performance out of it to stand the best chance finishing as high on the leader board as possible if not win. Great job you two you guys showed everyone how well those Holmes kids work together at the races. Thanks for sharing this video with us. It was a lot of fun to watch. May y'all have a good one. Have fun take care
There is a precision about your driving that is truly awesome . Your timing and throttle work reminded me of an engine on a dyno running the computer operated acceleration tests.
Carly, you have such a s steady hand on that #18T, I wish you could transfer some of that steadiness to Tanner and he could transfer some of his overall experience to you. You two would be an unbeatable combination to run up against. God Bless you both and stay safe.
Good job Carly. You would have won that race if they didn’t send you to the back for spinning out to avoid that guy. You definitely was the one to beat for sure. Job well done coming from the back. Glad to see you back racing.
Hi Carly that was a good race you did so well you were robbed of third by the last caution. however, agreat showing. I hope you have no adverse effects from your past injury. look forward to seeing the next one. Stay safe and take care and say Hello to Tanner for me.
Nice come back in the main, seems like the rpm’s drop fast on the 4 stroke when you try to run your line around the bottom. Could just be the sound when you would hit some grip down there. Lots of traffic up front hard to pass on a dry slick track
Very good outing Carly, chalk it up to learning car/engine an how it is different from your 2stroke , You did great coming back from 14th to 4th a few more laps and you would have been right there!!!! YOU LOOKED GREAT GIRL , KEEP IT UP !!! SO GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK ON TRACK , SLINGING DIRT AN CHASING THE CHECKER'S!!! GOD BLESS !!!
OMGosh she was on a Holy tear through the field when she got set back. I bet others took notes on how she did that so that they could do they same. It's like she put on a clinic lol
Should have had a play on the home track just to get the difference between the 4 stroke and the 2 stroke, but all well done for the night . Go get them next time Carly.
Woah hammer down Carly, How do you feel about the 4 stroke? Nice win in the opener... holy cow "hard charger Carly, what was that getting spun in the final going 4th to 14th to 4th nice driving......✌
I’ll bet it feels good getting back at it after that horrendous wreck. Take it easy on the back for a bit yet, but you’ll be fine. I know how long back injuries take to heal completely.
P.s. I do hope that I get to catch y'all at a sprint race this year. That is my goal lol. Thanks again for sharing as much of yourselves as you do with us. Have fun take care
Awesome job girl! getting used to a new car is sometimes difficult but you seem to have no problem, a little more seat time in the 4 stroke and you will dominate . Looking forward to Sprint Car Season! #22C Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ur in the groove Carley ... U go girl ... GO !!!!

Nice going Carly !!!! I started in carts in the 50's and worked my way into 4 cyl, midgets. Loved the wheel stands down the straights. LOL

A great run Carly. Whole different motor package takes a bit to get used to. But you did awesome! And you brought it in unbent! Perfect!
She sure was adapting quick and well to Tanners engine or at least I thought that she was
Great job. You had the car to beat. 4th in a different car is not bad. CONGRATULATIONS

such a great recovery. Awesome to see Carly back. Love the race suit and the red boots
Great run first one out with the four stroke 4th in final, brought her home in one piece!
Nice come back in the main, seems like the rpm’s drop fast on the 4 stroke when you try to run your line around the bottom. Could just be the sound when you would hit some grip down there. Lots of traffic up front hard to pass on a dry slick track
Damn those things are fast

You did an awesome job Carly, sorry I wasn't there to support you! ☹
WOW. What an impressive young lady!
Good luck this year kid. That 15 kept pinching her

All you gotta do is get her fired up a little and she'll go to the front... Good run Carly...
Her throttle control through and off the turns is SO good.
You did great, then come back to 4 after spin, not just anyone can do that. ya have talent girl!
Good job Carly!! Whoever drives the #15 needs to learn how to drive, dude acted like he was intentionally wrecking other drivers.
Awesome job girl! getting used to a new car is sometimes difficult but you seem to have no problem, a little more seat time in the 4 stroke and you will dominate . Looking forward to Sprint Car Season! #22C Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great job track star. That 15 wasn't cutting you any slack..lol. But I bet you enjoyed being back in the seat. Hopefully your back held up. 👍👍
Mustang Sally is BACK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Carly. How did your Back feel afterwards? Give them hell. Peter. (Australia)
Tanner seems a little nervous
So true
I would also be nervous if it was my sister or brother racing the first time after a wreck like she had that broke her back. 👍
wow well done how's you're back holding up.
Great job driving a motor that you are not used to
I'm sorry, but Carly seems more steady in the car than Tanner.
