Finally someone who knows what musicians needs … I use Bbeat from M-Live and I like it very much but I’m not happy with the build quality of it … besides audio and midi , I can sync also video and other stuff like lyrics. This one seems more robust … the build quality is for me the most important thing …
Love the idea! But I can't see it working for me because the screen and the text are way too small. Unless there's a way to connect to an Android tablet, so I can see the playlist more clearly.
been following this for so long. I REALLY would like to review this on the channel! so many people buying loopers when they should be using this! Hope we can work together on a video soon.
Simply amazing, where can I buy it? Is it possible to easily pass music tracks between projects like, step on and it will play the next song?? What is the memory limit??
We are sold out, but a new production run is planned. Yes, you can use the footswitches to change songs. You can use SD cards formatted as FAT32 (32GB). In addition you can swap which cards you are using, so you can have as many cards as you like.
You can sign up to the mailing list at idoru.live/ We will announce the next production run there and start taking pre-orders beforehand.

Looking forward to this. Any plans for rack unit? I know you can't release 5 variations at a time but I sure would love to have this as a rack mounted module
I've been waiting for something like this for a long time. Currently Im using multitracker app on iPad. Btw, If you need a Brazilian "beta tester" for your product, you can count on me. (I`m professional bass player and brazilian music producer.) Good luck on this project!
You can setup tempo changes in your MIDI file. The P-1 sends out system realtime message (0xF8) known as Midi Clock. This midi clock signal is sent 24 times per quarter note. On every change of tempo the midi clock is changed too.
Been watching the progress on this for a few years now. Glad it’s becoming a reality. In the software, does it let you mix and save the volumes for each song, or is it just for the overall device? Being able to save slight adjustments for each song would be really helpful since backtracks can sometimes vary in volume. It would be badass if this could interface with an iPad so we could use it as a big screen that also shows the previous and next track-and have easy drag/drop setlist reordering. The ShowOne App has a lot of essential features like that. As a touring musician who usually flys, I know that based on this design I’ll have to bring my own six balanced 1/4 in to XLR cables because some venues either won’t have those or it will slowdown the setup time.
You can adjust the output levels which are set for the whole setlist. You then have a 'Song adjust' control for each song which lets you cut or boost the outputs just for that particular song (to deal with the volume variation between songs which you mentioned). You also have control of wave levels in each song.
is the only way planned for unit acquisition for sign up? as in, is this limited runs only or will this become more widely available? are there payment options or upfront only?
Found this researching for something like this. I work at Sweetwater, and have begged manufacturers to do something like this for ages. A pedal. That plays backing tracks. Done. Personally, I'd give up the multi-track abilities in exchange for simple stereo playback out of --balanced-- XLR outs.
VERY happy customer and user of the P1, amazing unit !!

We'd love to make one. At the moment we don't have the resources, but if all goes well with the P-1 then it's something we will look into further.
@@idorulive preordered one anyway. Looking forward to this
Just curious what is that white les paul looking guitar on this video? Reminds me of PJD but without its ugly telecaster headstock.
It is a Vox Virage
@@idorulive thank you

I have a question regarding MIDI clock: how it works, it allows for tempo changes and MIDI clock can change the tempo during a song?
You can setup tempo changes in your MIDI file. The P-1 sends out system realtime message (0xF8) known as Midi Clock. This midi clock signal is sent 24 times per quarter note. On every change of tempo the midi clock is changed too.
@@idorulive thankyou very much! This product is promising!
Can you give a ballpark date for availability?
It's available now from the online shop at : idoru.live

We'd love to talk to Sweetwater about distribution, if you want to introduce us ;)
Let me know if you need a beta tester.
