I am gobsmacked Martin, superb piece, may I venture to say, possibly your best artistic creation to date!
You also did a great job on the video, talking us through your process in detail, and yes, I watched all 26.48 minutes of it...lol.
    Brilliant video matey.
    Cheers

Awesome bowl! The natural grain that came out when you finished the bowl gives the perfect counterbalance to your design. Love the Steampunk too.

Possibly the best piece (for me) yet Martin !!! Thoroughly enjoyed watching the pyrography process, really comprehensive insight to attaining the 3D effect & the gradient of the rosewood stain gives it a sepia feel of an old photograph. You are a very talented man indeed.

Love this piece Martin. You certainly have steady hands mate, that pyrography is simply superb! A clockwork tree... I like it :) I also liked the gradient on the front and the 2 differing finishes. The work on the bottom was inspired. Love it and thanks for the video!

Super! And nice to see a UK Turner actually putting curves on a bowl. The term "catenary curve" seems to have escaped the rest of them.

Thank you for this video. Your work is beautiful. I just did my first wood burning piece, and I looked up videos for wood burning tips. Ran across this video, and now I feel really inspired to dive deeper into the wood working world. My fiancé would probably thank you and give you a big hug for this(he’s becoming a luthier, loves working with wood).

This was my first pyrography video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The bowl is absolutely amazing. I'm just getting into wood turning and I think I may try my hand at burning as well. If I had one teeny tiny criticism, but it doesn't detract from the look at all, it would be that none of the cogs interconnect. I've watched a few of your vids now and I have subscribed for ideas as I delve in to the wood turning world. Excellent work!

Great tips on the Pyrography, You make it look so easy. When in reality anything I burn looks like a 5 yr old has been let loose. More practice I think.
