my bike club does what is called wheels to meals rides, probably similar to you where we ride to an eating venue then ride back to our cars. A great social event and lots of fun!
Yea... Ours is called Teh Tarik which a means pulled tea....its condensed milk with tea and pretty sweet.... So we ride to a spot drink tea... Have breakfast and go back... 🍵👌🏼

it costs so much because bike companies can charge that amount :) willing seller, willing buyer....carbon fiber tech has been around for decades -- just look at airplanes, so not like it's very rare....also, the USD to RM conversion hurts a lot of normal folks...

During my time, cyclists are all civilized. Now invaded by orang kayangan, poyo wannabe who just join and show of their $$ bike n apparels..but no true sportsmen
Hahaha... OK la... Some maybe got rezeki but still good people... Not all... My small group of friends all friendly one from rm4k bike to rm60k bike we kayuh, chit chat, makan sesama... And help each other... Our group got malay and Chinese from different background in life and we mix well together... Depends kot on a person...
