      A question I have is if I should put the book on a website. I have the website all ready, but I'm not sure if I should.
      Edit: And I don't mean to buy it; I mean to read the book on the website.

    Thanks Bella, you explain the different steps and purposes really well. I am not tech savvy, 😢, but I am working on it. I look forward to more videos from you ❤

    Hey Bella,
    Thanks for the video! I would love more information on homepages as well as their designs with different intentions (lead attraction, information, etc) as examples.

    For anyone who thinks that they can just watch a step-by-step instructional video and then follow the given instructions and create a good website, well, that is not the case. Some people have the ability to visualize a finished product and follow instructions to achieve what they visualize. But the fact is, not everyone can do that. Just as some people can look at a rundown home and property and visualize what it would look like if they did such and such, I believe that some people - not that many - can visualize a blank page and create a mental image of what they want to create for a website. Most of us, just try to emulate what has already been done, but have no idea how to achieve what we are trying to emulate. I will put it this way, I have a long-term relationship with music. When I hear a soloist sing, I don't really hear the notes they are singing. I hear the harmonies that can go with the notes they are singing. No one taught me how to do that, and no one can teach a person how to do that. It is something that some people are just born with.

    One (kind of important) thing you missed: It might be a legal requirement to have pages for *Privacy Policy* and *Terms of Use* especially if you are collecting an email list.

    Hello. Another video on specific pages an author needs on their website. Also, do you want to start your page with a lead magnet (free) or put that at the end after introducing yourself and what you do? Thanks.

    i want to get my book on the shelves at the book store or libaray you have any of advice

      @selfpublishingTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      physical book stores usually require calling and requesting that they carry the book (not as the author) and they can order them in. Libraries are similar, where they need to have the book requested enough times to order it in. hope that was helpful - i'll put this topic down for a future video

    For giving a free book away on your website via a newsletter, is it better to email the reader a link to Amazon (where it’s free), or should your email include an attachment of the book? Wondering what the best way to do this 🤔

    • @englishquizfactory
      @englishquizfactory ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello. Was wondering if there was an answer to this. So sorry to disturb you again 🙏🏻

      It is better to include a button in the email leading to either the website or landing page where the book can be downloaded. If it's leading to amazon (or other publishing platform) it can be gotten for free on those conditions or with a coupon code for some selected set of audience while it's not free for others.
