That's what makes America great! I can't speak for all servicemen and women but most of us do not do it for recognition or praise. We do it for people that would like to serve but can't and we do it for our brothers and sisters standing beside us on the battlefield so they can get back to their families. When I am done with my service, I know that I did my best and I don't need applause or recognition from anyone but GOD. SO PLEASE everyone stop making this a black or white thing because as an Army paratrooper I have laid down my life to protect all races before and I will do it again whether you like my skin color or opinion. GOD loves all colors, why can't we all be like that??
