- A couple of months ago, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier was ported over to the PS5 and while I enjoyed the game well enough it wasn’t really the Jak and Daxter game I was looking for. I wanted to see Daxter on PSP make an appearance and it finally did, with trophy support so you know I had to platinum it!

gonna be honest its gotta be twisted metal: head on psp had a noticeable lack of car combat games and head on filled that void nicely.
Oh man the PSP was a fun system. I’d say my favorite game was pursuit force
I've never had a PSP myself so i can't really comment on this, but i still want to leave behind a PSP title that many have found very interesting.

My personal favorite game from the psp was Daxter since it was my first psp game I played when I first got one.
I really hope R&C Size Matters gets ported to the ps5 ps catalog with trophies too!
I did enjoy Size Matters and while I didn't finish Secret Agent Clank, a port with trophies might change my mind. I know those games are the weak link of the R&C franchise, but since it's still going, bringing the PSP titles to the PS5 will help them out.
Me too. I’m currently working my way through and platinuming all ratchet and clank, sly and jak games.
That would be cool , I’ve beat that game about 6 time since 2008 , I need that platinum in my collection

When I was a kid I only had 2 Jak and Daxter games, Jak X and this one, and oh boy, I don’t think that I ever finished it but I remember sinking sooo many hours into it, I love daxter and I can’t wait to replay it !
2 great spin offs, enjoy replaying Daxter when you get around to it!
when this game came to PS Classics this month, it was such a great blast to play with trophy support that I too also platinum. onto my second platinum with the PS4 version.
also FYI Toy Story 2 now has trophy support in a new update for both PS4 and PS5 versions in case anyone wants to trophy collect that game too

I got this game on PSP back when it came out and then digitally and played it again in 2014 on my PSTV. I just finished the game again on PS5 which was my 3rd time playing. The game is really special to me and I think its a short but fun platformer. It's funny because i've never played another game in the series, only Daxter. That's probably a pretty weird thing.

Well now that this is out, I would love to see the PSP Ratchet and Clank games (maybe with a little rebalancing the enemies got entirely too spongy at the end of Size Matters), and Dissidia Final Fantasy (preferably Duodecium).

I remember getting a silver psp my sophomore year of high school and daxter was the free game that came with it. Now I can relive the game and get a sweet, sweet platinum. I just might play the whole thing on my PS Portal just for nostalgia sake
I always wanted a silver PSP for some reason! Picked up the yellow Simpsons one a few years back though!

Just got my first Lego plat (Lego Jurassic world) if you haven’t yet I highly recommend it it wasn’t a horrible grind and it was fun working on Lego Batman 3 right now. Love the content!
I played it on psp ages ago but never beat it so feels like I’m playing it for the first time and loving it, I’m not the best gamer but looking at the trophy list, you pretty much will get most the trophies just by playing through the game, I think the hardest one for me will be getting gold rating on one of the dreams but I know I’d get that eventually, I think they should make you collect all orbs for a trophy because 500 is only half, absolutely loving the game and I certainly don’t mind an easy plat tho at the end of the day

Got the platinum as well!! Now I wish they'd start porting more PS2/PSP 3D Platformer hidden gems to PS Plus, like Kya: Dark Lineage.

The psp emulation can be hit or miss sometimes with these ps5 ports (i.e Tekken 6 and SoulCalibur Broken Destiny), but this Daxter port was great. Would love to see the same treatment for Secret Agent Clank and Size Matters, the two God of War games, and AC Bloodlines.
Personal psp favorite was MK Unchained, but I have a hard time seeing that one getting ported
Unchained was a good one! Personally fighting game wise I couldn't get enough of Tekken Dark Resurrection on PSP!

I enjoy the trophy hunting content but miss the retrospective videos, originally subbed from Darksiders
I totally get it mate, I wish I still had that passion for retrospectives but my biggest issue with making them is it felt like playing the game was the shortest aspect of making the video. Scripts would take a good week to get done, editing was tedious looking for specific clips. Never rule out a comeback but right now I'm just having fun with another side of gaming

ottsel army. I'll be honest, I never played the any of the jak games the PSP. It was mainly RPG games. But I'll give them a shot in the future. Currently playing Legend of Dragoon and then it is off to RE2 and RE3 remake.

why aren't they remastering games anymore and just porting with emulation?
Cheaper to just port them I'd say, it all comes down to money at the end of the day
@@MayorHairBear it just feels scummy knowing they have a psp ps1 ps2 emulator and not having it embeded in the console's software so people can use their discs and need to pay just to be able to play the same version
