I've been a shorts creator for a long time and this is probably my biggest and longest project yet. glad you guys are enjoying it and I will deff put out more 🧡
This video concept was super interesting. Just a thought, you could potentially maximize output and exposure while on something like twitch. That way you could be playing these games and attempt to do full genres (like best batman game or whatever ip). Then your audience could take all the best clips and you could just essentially copy and paste the content ending with a review.
Shrek 2 game was the game I played the most in my childhood. I remember when I won to the fairy godmother, I was so proud of myself I woke up my sister to tell her like I had just won the Superbowl🤣
She did technically appear in Shrek 2 during the intro montage, I think she's the girl who ran off screaming when Shrek and Fiona opened the door for her.
I could be wrong but I think in the 2nd movie she was originally going to be a main character, but was cut halfway through production. Probably apart of the 1st draft.
In addition to her cameo in 2, she shows up in Shrek 3 having been a patron of the Poison Apple, she's apart of Prince Charming's invasion force and pick pockets a Dwarf. Guess Big Bad Wolf took the Good Guy team slot for their Fairy Tale :P
Yeah, it’s my favourite thing in the whole universe. I just love when people say their playing every single game wow there’s at least 35 other games that they don’t play
i loved playing shrek 2 on the gamecube as a kid, each level has a different vibe and different gameplay so it never feels repetitive or boring. they change up the plot a little bit too so its more interesting. to this day i still quote lines from this game with my family and cousins
@@mrcrabo6112 I had to replay that shit so many times as a kid 🤣🤦🏽♂️ and the when your flying as the dragon and have to dodge everything . Ah good times
Shrek 2 for PC was actually really good, especially some of the later levels when you get to play as Puss in Boots. Except the final bossfight, which is just completely broken. Playing as Mongo right before that was pretty fun though
I actually enjoyed the final bossfight. If you get the hang of how it works you do it quite easily. It's basically impossible to win on first try because you need to understand the logic, but once you get it it's actually cool. It's probably one of the best adaptations of a movie to videogame ever honestly, it let's you experience the whole movie storyline and makes it interactive and enjoyable.
Thats crazy. The exact thing happened to me. My Grandma bought the xbox version for me and my brother thinking it was the movie. We never got to play it until years later when we got our first game console. Good times.
Yeah, I feel like the og Shrek game was originally going to be a game based on the "twisted fairytale" genre, with a generic monster like a bridge troll as it's main character. But as development was wrapping up, Shrek was released and became a classic, so Dice decided to pay DreamWorks and Universal for the Shrek license, and set development back a few more months making a new character model and story.
WAIT wha?? You're a brand new channel?? Dude, this is such a well put together video. I enjoyed this so much. I hope you reach a wider audience, you deserve it and much more!!
The KnowWonder Shrek 2 pc game is soooo cool to me. Each level has its own vibe and mood, while also being just the right amount of challenging. I've been playing it every few years since I was a kid, and while the nostalgia factor definitely plays a big role, I'd say that as a fan of old games and as a big Shrek fan, this one is certainly worth playing
I really wished they made a Shrek superslam 2 there were so many characters missing from the first game just imagine all the stages and new characters we could get if they added characters from all 4 movies and puss 2 movies it would go crazy for nostalgia
Gingy saying "We dont have thay kind of dough" and Red saying "What are you gonna do about it, TIN! MAN!" have lived rent free in my head for longer than i care to admit
I won't lie, when you said "Do You Like Waffles?" was in this game, I didn't believe you and had to look into gameplay, which was made 12 years ago on TH-cam....... It's real. Lol
I think the reason why that waffles song is in the Shrek Forever After game is because one of Donkey’s most famous lines is the one in the original movie where he says that in the morning, he’s making waffles.
I used to play Shrek Super Party and Shrek Super Slam religiously and with Super Slam the challenges got insanely hard from what I remember and I never finished it. Maybe I'll go back to it after this video
my dad went to lived in vietnam for a little bit when i was around 7. he brought home this massive box of obviously burned copies of disney movies, pixar, a whole bunch of incredibly illegal IP stealing media. in the very back of the box was a lot of rip off games too, there were at least 6 shrek games in the box, 2 were in chinese, 4 just didn't work on the wii because of region lock. i did recently homebrew my wii so i could play a lot of these region locked games, it was honestly a wild experience, just as much as this video was
I LOVED Shrek Super Slam as a kid growing up. I always loved fighting all the donkeys at once and it would be absolutely hilarious. Which the game itself is also hilarious. Such a classic 🔥😂🙌
Shrek Super Slam was the best game ever. Lots of fun maps and character moves and there were secret maps and characters and character skins to unlock as you played through different single player missions.
Holy shit, I accidentally found you on Scott Cramers channel and have been dying for someone to talk about Shrek the Third the Game. The Midwest commentary scene is definitely my vibe
Shrek Super Party was an OG game for me too. It was a little bit weird as you say but holds a special place in my heart. Scooter Scramble was my fave mini-game and my highest score was 996 which I'm proud of.
Im so glad Madagascars video game was mentioned, probably one of the very few games that could stand on its own outside the "movie game" genre like Spider Man 3 and Barnyard
Shrek 2 (Xbox) was so fun when my siblings and I were kids, all four of us would play together to beat the game and just swapped controllers when someone couldn’t do something. Good times, good times.
Clicked on this video for Shrek Superslam. Bought it about a decade ago for the meme and because me and my friends like playing fighting games in my garage. Ended up playing a ton of it over the next month, a hidden gem for sure. It'd be great if we got a sequel, as long as it would have similar gameplay.
As a kid I had a plug-n-play Shrek game that just connected to my tv. It had three Shrek mini games on it. Donkey Dash which was an obstacle course running game, pinball featuring the fairytale creatures and the Merry Men, and mini golf. My brother and I played that thing for hours.
Well I've found that playing older games I used to love as a kid is by far the most fun I've ever had playing games. Something about older games is just so much better for me, even ones I didn't play as a kid. That being said... if the game you have fond memories of is a Shrek game.. yeah maybe it's not worth risking the memories lol.

This was great, definitely keen to see more - a series of different franchises would be fun!
The Puss in Boots fight from the Shrek 2 video game is INGRAINED in my brain. Also 625 sandwich stacker is GOATED
it reminds me of xmen legends i dont know which one came out first tho, then the marvel ultimate alliance games took off from there
I loved playing that whole game when i was a kid but damn puss in boots fight was wild
i agree i grew up with that game

@dekucake4395 it probably is,though the design is different than the one in the games which makes me wonder where that design came from

💀 "My favorite part is Shrek's little giggle anytime he beats off an enemy"
lmao that first shrek game def had the dev's voices in it
It wouldn't be the first time placeholder audio was left in a game once the developer ran out of money/time.
“I played every shrek video game”
Literally cuts out more than half
Also barely played any of them beyond the introduction. The literal title would be "I launched and tried less than half of the Shrek games".
