When I face Darth Vader, I change the background music to Vader's Theme & when I face the Emperor, I change the music to the Emperor's Theme. I think it would've been cool if in the 6th level, Boba Fett was the boss but he was in Super Empire Strikes Back. Too bad there wasn't also a level (after Jabba's death) where the Sarlac Monster was a boss but that happened in Super Star Wars.
All you have to do is hold the attack button to charge it like Samus or Mega Man's Charge Beam/Buster. Unlike other characters Leia with the Staff or Chain won't rapid fire.

I once experienced a glitch in the game at the 5:28 boss where Luke was stuck mid-spin and would just move around the map in that position. Hilarious. XD
I had this game when I was like 6 and could not even get past a single level with any character. I just got out there, killed a few enemies, then encountered something big and vicious, and was killed quickly. There was this big enemy (not a boss) out in the desert that looked like a giant ant. Has anyone defeated this thing and has a video of it?
I wish the boss on the sail barge was Boba Fett (this is just coming from someone who never played Super the Empire Strikes Back). I also wish Lando Calrisssian was a playable character for this level
You only got it wrong in two places. Luke killed the Rancor. Leia killed Jabba. I prefer to use Chewbacca against the Giant Frog, but that doesn't matter since it didn't happen in the movie.

I remember as a kid i found a cheat that would let you jump to the Emperor. 50 lives later i figured out how to beat him without cheating.

I could never make it past the first level on Empire or Jedi, and I got stuck on the third in the original. This series was ROUGH.
He was Chewbacca's last boss in Empire but for some reason he doesn't make a return here.

I think it is arguable that Bib Fortuna (Jabba's Dance Drill) is the hardest boss in this game.

It's also sad that Fett isn't the boss of the Sail Barge since they did bring Vader back as the boss before the Emperor.
