Can you explain the aerospace studies class for the first semester as an AS100? Is there homework or are there briefings that first semester?

Yes! Every semester your AS Class will consist of 2 briefings and 2 writing assignments. Usually your only hw is to work on your briefings or assignments but typically those don’t take long.
AS100 class focuses on military history and followership. As you progress, the classes will get more specific and have scenarios. Hope that helps!

@@faithapowers Can you explain the briefings? How does that usually go and what are they usually about etc? Do they teach you how to talk in front of a group, I struggle a lot with that lol

It depends if you are on ROTC Scholarship. When I did ROTC AF back in 1994 you were not allowed to work because you were on full scholarship which paid for books, tuition, and a monthly stipend. You had to keep an overage of 3.5 gpa back then to keep your scholarship. I was enlisted E-3 prior service Air Force, so I also received my enlisted GI bill to pay for my rent. I received monthly unemployment money because I left Active duty enlisted to go to ROTC Air Force. I had Veteran Affairs medical for my health care. In other words, I didn't need to work. Every one situation varies. If you can you need to spend your time learning and not working a job to make money.
