    WOW - It's BEAUTIFUL! Great job Dalton! Good choice on the darker grout - white never stays white. I'm happy with the tile choice over dark - it makes it look more spacious lighter. NICE! LOVE LOVE!

    "Old School" leveling the tiles to each other:
    Before the adhesive sets, lay 1/2 inch plywood on the tile and distribute 3 to 5 lbs per sq ft over the plywood. The tiles will level to the plywood.
    and you don't have to keep buying the plastic things, which can break off just above the tile and then you have top carefully grind them out.

    I have paid professionals a lot of money to have tiles that weren't flat or grout that wasn't even. You will always be proud of this tile job. It looks great 😊

    It looks great! I know from experience that when you're the one doing the work, you can see every tiny flaw. But no one else will ever see it. And look what you started with. I think it's unbelievable that you made it look so good.

    I definitely would have unscrewed those floor levelers for reuse, too. Love the tile! I hope you can buy more of it to use in the entrance/laundry area.

    Looks great and every time you see it you can think ‘ I did this’ and be proud of your work. I know several days have passed and you probably already have but be sure to seal the grout joints as soon as you can

    The new tile looks GREAT! As someone said, since you are the one who did the work, you can see every little "flaw". As you were mentioning the "lippage" I just thought you're gonna have rugs there anyway!

    Your going to have install 2x4 all around the tub for your drywall to screw too... Just a heads up lol there's a whole lot of backing to go all the way around

      @@cannedheat33 it's usually personal preference to whomever is starting the project. However it being tile, some ppl do decide to do it last to prevent any scratches and chips, but I've seen a lot of contractors tape cardboard down with a drop sheet over the high traffic areas that they will be working in.
      Either way works tho. Like I said it's usually just personal preference on a guys work routine

      @@marchingmoto You made the right choice. Toilets under low ceilings are not ideal. Had to deal with that in my old house. I always wanted to move it but never did

    Did you leave a 1/2 clearance all the way around the toilet pipe? Those PVC toilet flanges extend down below the tile surface a couple of inches.

      @@jacklabloom635 i have a 4” pipe so the flange slides into it. But i did wrap the pipe a few times with some foam insulation to allow for some room around it in case i needed some space

      That’s the plan. Either a closet or some deep shelves but most likely a closet. Its just gonna take a custom door
