Got my test later at this centre! 😮💨😮💨
How did it go?
I got mine booked at this test centre tomorrow
How did it go?
which centre is this
Passed my module 1 test today in the same test centre. This video helped. Failed twice before because nerves got the better of me.
Thank you
Which test centre is this?
that instructor look cool dude to get on with
Super guys at RMT
Thanks for the video, was a good one but a few pointers as I've done my mod1 a few times and they're picking on stupid things like on the hazard avoidance my bike didn't stop parallel inside to the cones so it was a fail, the front wheels need to stop parallel and centre of the 4 cones and same for the controlled stop if not you fail and that's what happened. You can do everything right but for something as small as this one can fail the entire thing which is utterly stupid.
Nice mock test though.
It's only stupid if you can't do it,piss easy to do the whole thing is kids stuff
@@chris-ip4pk kids don’t ride motorcycles legally
What do you mean by ‘parallel inside to the cones’ please?
@@aps-pictures9335 Straight, not at at angle
Push on the left ? The clutch side slightly ?
Hi,
I am a 25 year old with years of motorbike riding experience outside the UK and fairly find the Mod 1 and Mod 2 test not so hard. Is it possible to take up the Full (DAS) license tests without taking up the training classes which are seen to be costing around £800 - £1200 or is it mandatory to take them in order to get the full license??
Thats the widest figure of 8S I ever seen 😂
It was a 3D one in my head
I have the same bike.
So is that bike you’re using theirs or yours? I’ve seen people use their own bike but I though you can’t ride ore than 125 before passing mod 2?..
Great vid. Have mine booked for Thursday. What I don’t understand is on the figure of 8 as I was told to use around 4000rpm. But everyone seems to use just clutch control which seems like it’s much easier since your applying just rear brake and clutch. Any advice anyone? Thanks
I got mine Thursday too. My instructor told me to open the throttle slightly to give it “some revs” but I just use the clutch and no throttle, it’s a lot easier
@@stephenwilliams8576 thanks mate. I passed with just 2 minors. 49kph in avoidance and emergency stop. Apart from that was fine ! Good luck to yours mate
well motorbikes are designed to be revved alot, I just rev the shit out of my instructors bike whenever I do figure of 8. Dont be thinking too much about rev rpm's just rev it by ear.
Just do what feels right, don't be thinking about rpms
Big bikes like to stray upright at high revs, so you are less likely to loose balance and put your foot down at high revs
Which test center was this ?
I'm going to do my mod 1 test in few weeks time but my speedometer stop working. My question is do you think they will check if its working on the test day?
How do you plan on doing the 32MPH emergency stop if you can't see your speed though
2 ways They have a speed gun ... when doing the control stop ask them the speed you were doing and adjust.
Second ... in traffic aprox 30mph put you bike in second gear and listen to the engine ... on the test the same noise/ rpm will be the same speed.
My 650 @ 4500 rpm 2nd gear is just about 50km.
At the end you didn't put any parts from motorcycle between the cones, this is where I failed. 😐
You mean the figure of eight? i did that towards the start?. I hope your not just using TH-cam videos as your traning? Make sure you practice in real life and maybe get with a instructor or trainer?
What is a fail on this test
I booked my light bike mod 1 with the dvsa, in the email it says to bring my own bike
Do I have to take my own or is one provided?
Who's bike have you been using to practice on? Did you use a driving trainer or school bike? If your own then yes it would be your own bike
@@mibandit I did my cbt on a bike that was given to me by the motorbike school, for my mod 1 I had to book it with dvsa over in Wakefield and they're asking me to bring my own bike
@@HammadAli-rf7zs If your using a driving school then you can ask/book to use a bike from them which you can use.
was it yr own bike u did it on?
No driving school bike that I have been using for practice. Suzuki SV650 good bike for slow control. You can take your own bike if you like.
What happens on the emergency stop if you stop before the testers hand is raised, is that a fail?
no just a minor fault no big deal just don't do it again n again lol
I thought was a fail if your wheel not in the blue cone box and didn’t do shoulder checks on last manoeuvre ?
Are dimensions of U turn are 7.5m or 6.1m on some sites are different
Mine was 7.5m
@@mibandit cheers mate I pass 😊
@@emblake7750 Excellent great job. Mod 2 next
How did you pass, I thought emergency stop is 32MPH and they check your speed with a speed camera? And also I thought if you stall you fail?
A stall in the Emer stop is using FULL engine breaking. A stall at any other time is a fail.
Just remember to do the mirror check BEFORE you try to restart the bike ..gears ect.
Fucking terrified of failure.
You got this bro
@@mibandit Thanks 😢
Did you take your own motorbike or rent?
It was the bike from the learning company I used
i failed mine am gone get out there do it again
And here's me pissed off I got 1 minor when I done mine.
@@chris-ip4pk your gd Chris lol I wish I got a minor I booked mine for 22nd of April 🙈 I'll pass this time
@@chris-ip4pk i failed again lol i hit a cone on my swerve avoidance tut this will be my 3rd attempt 😔
You'll spend a fortune riding on a 125cc for 2 years. Just get to your A licence then when you pass it you can get whatever bike you want saving you alot of money. And anyway most beginners dont have practice bikes.
125cc are cheap to run I run a 125 for the good part of 10 years. what do you class as a fortune? £200 a year to keep on the road? is not expensive. I do have a full bike license still now ride a 250
@@mibandit some are asking £2,000 for a 125.
@@steve00alt70 mabe they low miles or new in age , no wonder as new bikes gone high as 4-5k fyi
They are shoulder checks not life savers
They save your life, hence the name
Same thing mate
Mod 1 it crap. You don't see car drivers doing anything like this, before they go out.
We are riding more than they are driving. Its wrong
They should make all car driver take this before being allowed to take car tests
No balance in cars mate
@@TronciM u shouldn't of responded to him how can it be done with car u fool tut
@@haml97 bro what did I say wrong
@@haml97 of course cars don't do a mod 1, you can't lose your balance and put your foot down when driving a car you twat
Yes brother nervous for mine been riding 125 fot over ten years aswell practice next week them booking my mod 1
You can do it!
