- The UN is warning of a humanitarian law breach after two peacekeepers were injured when an Israeli tank fired on a watchtower at a UN base in southern Lebanon
.
Israeli forces have "repeatedly hit" UN positions the last 24 hours, including "deliberately" firing at security cameras, the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (Unifil) says.
Lebanese authorities said Israeli air strikes killed five health workers in the south of the country on Wednesday. At least 115 health workers have been killed since last month.

A lot maybe just coordination and pretty unpolitical. monitoring stations etc I think it tends to be a bit useless when it comes to big nations I agree. there is definitely a multi-tiered system and it operates within and around that but I think you would have to be prepared for a harsher world without that. Nuclear proliferation and alliances like before WW2 which it is has a foot back in. likely BRICs+Security Pacts and mobile nuclear platforms everywhere if no diplomacy and international law exist or even just the pretext of having such things
