We are just about to start on our campsite working journey and will be starting work on our 1st campsite this March - all thanks to your video (#89 Getting Campsite Job: The Ultimate Guide to Working as Campsite Warden!). We have secured work on a wonderful site in Devon and are just in the process of setting our van up on the pitch. Thank you for your inspirational videos.
That's fantastic news! 🎉 We're thrilled to hear that our video was helpful for you, and it's amazing to see you embarking on your campsite working journey. Good morning,it's hard to go back to work after a break when I had a month break and it was very hard to come back, It takes me about half an hour to get ready for work in the morning and about half an hour to get to work Have a nice Sunday Greetings
You got this! We wish you luck :D sense of humour, resilience... hot drinks and warm socks :D We've had a busy week, cold weather is not helping BUT things will get better and summer will be lovely xxx Kat
I would rather have a longer lunch break when i worked i had half an hour to come home and feed the dogs and hoped they went to the toilet and try to eat something myself x
Our lunch breaks vary depending on whether the campsite is open to tourers or closed. During the closed period, like now, we have a shorter one-hour break. But once the season starts, our days are longer-we start earlier and finish later, which means our lunch break stretches to a luxurious four hours! It's a nice balance to ensure we're refreshed and energized for the day. 🌟🍽️
We're technically on call 24/7 according to our contract, but it's all about having a good understanding with the site owners. Communication is key! We're pretty flexible with our time, which helps us balance work and personal life. 🕰️👍
Absolutely, we're grateful for the opportunity to take a longer break, but it comes after 10 months of working without many days off. It's all about finding the right balance and making the most of our time together. Thank you for your support and understanding!

Hi again, when do you get a cut off point from work, or do you have to be onsite at all times.
