This is why it is genuinely starting to piss me off that Apple is focusing on thinner devices. There are features that people want, longer battery life, faster charging, better thermals etc. so much low hanging fruit that could be plucked out to make people happy and reduce complaints. “My iPhone is too thick” is something I have personally never heard
True, however i believe they surely can come up with lighter phones if not necessarily thinner ones :)
All Apple cares about is profit. Profits are important but if people quit buying your products, then Apple just raise the prices more to keep the profit margin high and make it with cheaper materials.
It’s kind of funny people want bigger batteries. Like, I don’t think Apple wants you staring at your phone more than 10 hrs a day. That’s why they invented the health app. 😂

$100 watches use aluminium so going with plastic (which scratches very easily) for the new Watch SE seems like a terrible idea. It must be aluminium.

I’d like to see a study showing who actually cares about super fast charging. There’s only a few times that I’ve ever wanted it and never actually needed it. There’s obviously a mob of passionate fast charging users on the internet but I very rarely encounter people who actually care about it, and I work in smartphone sales
Exactly. Most people can last a whole day without charging, so charging speed doesn’t matter since they charge it overnight.
Not to mention battery chemistry degradation.
Never used fast charging for my iPhone 13 mini nor am I remotely interested in it! Fast charging is known to kill the battery faster over time.
They should just build in better, longer lasting batteries, I think that is actually what everyone wants!
Super-fast is 210W from 0-100% in 10 minutes. My 15PM takes 2 hours from 14-100%
Apple Watch SE in plastic is a target for parents to buy them for their children. Especially if they can be tracked. Its harder for children to loose a watch versus a iPhone.
Let’s hope Apple finally focuses on battery life this year. And please!

@@appleztoorangesI'll explain for you. In youtube, iPhones have best battery life either top 1 or 2 or 3...etc.
But...
in real world, since iPhone are more optimised than android phones, it doesnt drop much battery when not in use like when people are at work etc. While android will drop a lot of battery percentage while not even being used. iPhone 13 pro max onwards are really battery kings in real world usage. iPhone 15 even has more efficient low refresh rate.
Most battery tests online are not real world usage.
@@appleztoorangeswhat will matter more is better and fashionable magsafe battery. Maybe in the future, iPhones can have the dots like in iPad so magsafe will have metallic connection to iPhone so not much heat and loss of energy when charging.

27w charging isn’t the problem, the problem is that dropping it to bloody 5w is infuriating! If they put 40w peak and drop the damn thing to 5w when the battery is around 80% we’re still doomed.
Charging the last 20% of the battery very slowly is the single most important thing you can do to increase battery lifespan. I like the slow 80-100% charging.
that’s optimised charging, if you switch it off in settings you won’t have any complaints, i wouldn’t recommend it tho

The Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra charge at 45W for their batteries, which should still be larger than the iPhone 16 Pro's batteries, and those phones take ~1hr to charge. So if we could get there at least that would be a good step forward.

Fast charging is not really an important feature for me. Plus, until they can design batteries that will accept fast charging without compromising battery longevity, I definitely have no interest in fast charging.

8:54. Nooooo. But the biggest issue is that when at home, the HomePad takes priority for "hey siri". And it is has the dumbest Siri. What would be awesome, is if it interacted with the iphone. That way you get the superior mics and speakers, but also the superior siri using your iphone.

I'm so pissed at Apple. I've stayed with them for computers. And my MacBook Pro 19 screen glitched it's half working, half bleeding. And they want me to Jump Through Hoops? And a NEW MacBook Pro at 2,700 to 3k. Base Model is 16gb? My Samsung S24 has that.. and they do not have Taskbar it's gone! Smh as a photographer those easy Shortcuts were useful and just emails, messaging, etc...was better with the Taskbar! SMH Apple... might be time to turn to Samsung for computers also...
