While the debate about a street fight will surely rage on, Rousey has nothing but kind words for Mayweather as a boxer, calling him the greatest technical boxer that ever lived.
"Floyd would box the hell out of me if we were in a boxing match, but I think that boxing is a limited form of fighting."

Why are we comparing men and women fighters? Men strength is on a different ballpark than women strength. Facts. Now, Rhonda could beat up a man who isn't a trained fighter. A normal man who just goes to work, come home and have a couple of beers and watch TV. Floyd, is a seasoned athlete and on top of his sport. He would dominate her. Grappling is all about leverage; strength has very little to do with it. I'm sure I'm stronger than Rousey too, but that doesn't mean she wouldn't pull my arms off in a fight. Look at the size of the Gracies and how they used to dominate the sport (against guys that were much bigger than them).
And while men are generally stronger, don't underestimate how strong female athletes are. There are lightweight female teenagers who can lift more than 100kg over their heads. Can you? There are female athletes who can run 100m in under 11 seconds. Can you? Gina Carano's kicks would break your legs in little time. And Ronda would win a grappling match with any NORMAL man within seconds. Mayweather IS a normal man when it comes to grappling.

I love both Boxing & MMA i watch both all the time but Dana White & MMA love to discredit boxers ability to fight. One of the best thing a fight can learn is movement and this is key in boxing which was shown by Holly. She made Ronda look amateur with boxing movement it was quite embarrassing

It's like comparing a Bow(MMA) to a Sword(Boxxing),in the case of Ronda=Bow,Mayweather=the most effective Katana Sword ever made by the most awsome fastest Ninja weilding it.If it was an elite male MMA fighter vs Mayweather,a better comparisson would be of a pistol with plenty of bullets in it vs the katana sword or for some,not so elite MMA fighters,it would be like a middle ages Rifle with 1 bullet in the chamber vs the Katana sword.. Obviously the discussion here is because Ronda is a woman and her body by nature is weaker, But I would say that if she manage to handle a Mayweather punch (Floyd's power punch is weak compare to other male boxers) and if she gets him on the ground, Mayweather would be done. Mayweather's defense is great for boxing because you just need to worry about protecting your head,torso and ribs, but what will happen when you have to protect your feet as well and you are not ready for it....

If Floyd can keep the fight standing and stay at distance, he'll win, but if Ronda clinches with him JUST ONCE, the fight is over for Floyd. Without any grappling ability Floyd would be toast in the clinch or on the ground. The entire outcome of the fight depends on one question... can Floyd avoid the clinch?

That is not in full perspective but fairly accurate if it was an mma fight. If she had to put gloves on and box him she wouldn't last three rounds due to glove fatigue. I've put the gloves on well versed bjj fighters and they can't even hold there hands up past three full rounds. Same goes for a boxer in mma anyone with wrestling if they get ahold of u will hold u down. It's impossible to mix boxing with mma both have advantage in there own field. One exception I've seen just punchers fight for titles in ufc due to the fact u gotta grab them first and survive the hits

MMA fighters don't take a lot of punches because they use smaller gloves, they get knocked out easily. their body's does not get used to taking punches.
firstly : big gloves = protection from cuts. It stil really hurts and does similar damage.
secondly:no one gets knocked out easier or harder. They either have a genetically gifted chin, or have really advanced their ability to evade punches.
go to a mma gym. Take on a beginner, (but obviously not a complete noob), and try to "easily" knock him out.
maskedman im an amateur boxer , ive actually sparred with MMA fighters. They cant set the distance correctly and cant take punches because il only speak from my experience which is the only thing i can do.. For instance ,after 3 of my shots an pro MMA who has had 2 professional fights so far, hit the floor despite being 18 pounds heavier than me and i didn't even try to punch him hard because i was told to take it easy on him. MMA's cannot cope with absorbing punches .. its not just in there DNA but also in most peoples DNA generally and its completely normal. Being a legit boxer is a gift from god and only god can give you that gift because without having a good chin nobody can box. Boxing is about giving as much as being able to take punches if one has to.Majority of the boxers have a good chin and it helps them drive through difficult moments especially in our amateur careers. Ones who don't have a chin , don't simply make it to the pro's. In any type of fight, After a mans pubic region, the second most vulnerable part of the body IMO is hes chin. If you don't have a good chin , than your extremely vulnerable in any type of fight relating to life threatening danger because i have been knocked out cold once despite having a great chin - Its not something anyone can control fully but some people can control the affect most of the times due to a solid chin but ultimately , When the chin fails , the entire body fails and you wake up feeling a really painful and stunning electric shock around your feet and body - and i have a hard chin and didn't know what happened or how i got caught after waking up but just imagine how that MMA fighter must had felt like? It took him minutes to wake up. since then , i always have took a cautious approach when sparring MMA's in the ring

He jabs her when she jumps in for a takedown, and during that moment of discombobulation after eating a hard jab from a top pro, Floyd connects with either hand and that's that. Rhonda quickly succumbed to Nunes punches. Quickly. And Nunes power is a pittance of Mayweather's - and Floyd is not a one-punch KO guy by any means. He is a male though, and probably, an all-time great.

(2) The fact that Floyd is the number 1 boxer in the world combined with his adequate training in MMA...Dana wouldn't stand a chance in a street fight. Yes, they are about the same height but Floyd has far more muscle mass, pound for pound. (3) The most obvious...HE'S A MAN. Now, I'm not saying I could beat Ronda Rousey (doubt it) but Floyd who's a professional fighter would destroy Ronda. Let me tell you first hand that what a freestyle wrestled of 148lbs could do to a person is amazing, and that's just a wrestler. A complete grappler at RRR level... she would humiliate Floyd. For an untrained man t overcome RRR he would have to be significantly bigger and much stronger than her so that he could muscle his way through attempted submissions. Even then should she get an arm bar or rear naked... its over. I can stand up and fight with just about anyone, but I am very grateful for what I learned as a high school wrestler!

If she could somehow clinch him and get him to the ground there's a small change that she might be able to do something with her technique in judo. But that would have to be the position the're in when they start fighting. But you have to be realistic. Fights don't start from an arm bar position.

Top level boxers have better conditioning than MMA fighters also. The other factor of conditioning is confidence, composure, and alertness. If you stay calm while fighting, your conditioning last longer. Mentally that's Floyd.
