Mid October Crappie Fishing

Mixed in a couple days of crappie fishing into one video. The majority of my fish were caught on a Banana colored Cut Throat jig (link below). I did get one on a 1/4 Uoze swimjig (shad) with a 3" Largo Shad trailer. The water temps were in the 60-61 degree range and clarity was in the 1-2 foot range. www.cutthroatjigco.com/produc...

I love they way you have your boat setup. I have a similar setup and I would advise you to get a foot switch for your front trolling more. It makes life much easier. All you have to do is bump instead of constantly having to twist the handle. It's the best $25 I have spent on my small boat. Great video.

I know exactly what switch you recommend and I've thought about it. However, I'm considering either AUTOBOAT GPS PRO ANCHOR SYSTEM or a new trolling motor with spot-lock as I often fish offshore in the wind, and I really want to be able to just anchor down and stay on a spot. Wow some those were some nice fish right there! I have seen a lot of big crappies and Im gunna guess your scale might be a touch off. A few of those fish definitely looked over 2lbs!

Sorry for the late reply. I fish in Oklahoma on a catch and release only lake. I'm usually fishing around artificial structures or brush piles, but often just over open water. I'll work on more livescope shots. Thanks for the feedback.
