Very cool video. That's something I did when I got my first boat 5 years ago. Went and got an "manual' for my state and made sure I had everything. Most of the time the ticket received if much more than the item you don't have. Every year I check just to make sure of any changes.

I live in SC too and fish Lake Wylie in my Pelican Bass Raider, do you have to wear the life jacket all the time?

If you are over 18, in SC you are required to have a vest on board with you. That is for each person on the boat. It does not need to be worn. However, anyone under 12, in a class A boat, must wear a vest at all times. Also, the auto inflate vests that a lot of fishermen wear, that inflate upon contact with water, must also be worn at all times. They do not count as a life vest if they are in the boat, and not being worn. Hope this helps.

Ya I also read about guys saying there inflatables didn’t inflate 😳
I’ll just stick with the regular vest.
