It's not as deadly as he described either apparently (just googled it), but it does have some negative effects like the demineralized.
What I heard was it was pure H2O that can only be obtained through electrolysis

It's a lease, its a contract for x amount of time not just a month
They act like these machines are impossible to work on or change the syrup bags which is easy. The machines themselves are small in reality with 180 drinks possible

There’s one for your home through a scummy MLM too called Kangan water.
They are 20,000 or you can please them for 320.00 a month. They actually use these cartridges compared to like a fountain machine that requires 5 gallon boxes of syrup mix that then mixes with water and CO2. Lots of love from Michigan ❤️

I grew up drinking water from an artesian well. Lots and lots of minerals, no purifiers, no additives. (The dentist prescribed fluoride tablets because there wasn't fluoride in the water.) It was completely fine to drink but had a faintly metallic aftertaste, kinda like you'd been sucking on a quarter. 🙂❤️
No evidence to support fluoride in water. The addition of fluoride in water was also the time we started to regularly brush our teeth. Dental health did improve but could be cause we started to make better tooth paste ( no sugar in it) and take care of our teeth.

If any of you have heard of reverse osmosis. It's a type of water filtration some people use. It's usually a tank and filter combo under a kitchen sink to "demineralizes" the water giving straight H2O. You can drink it and it's really good water to mix with stuff like coffee. I've been drinking this water since I was a little kid and so far, I'm still alive lol
Most RO machines nowadays actually put the minerals back in to the water
@Harsh O'R Singh really? I didn't know that. The one I have doesn't and I don't think I've heard of ones that put the minerals back into the water.
If you're making coffee with it you're also re-adding minerals to it. By itself, RO water is bad for you because it can cause mineral deficiencies but not to the severity that Rhett was under the impression of and modern diets likely make up for replacing the majority of the minerals it would pull from one's body.

De-ionized water is what Rhett was talking about! That stuff will strip your stomach and esophagus lining, very scary stuff if you drink any.

I learned that in school too, tho they didn’t call it demineralized… they just said pure H2O alone will damage you internally if you drink it but it’s really hard to isolate H2O because it wants to attract molecules
Both my husband and brother worked with demineralized water. It was called UPW (ultra pure water) on their site. They also said that it's not drinkable.

Demineralized water is chemically DO2, which is actually extremely heavy and absorbs heat extremely well, which is why it’s used in nuclear reactors, because it keeps the core from overheating and is more efficient than regular water
Demineralized water isnt that dangerous that you begin to dissolve on contact. However prolonged consumption of demineralized water will cause mineral deficiencies in your body, causing it to go to an acidic state.

been watching GMM and Mythical More since I was a kid. Not a kid anymore. It's weird to grow up, and watch them all grow up. Used to watch this with my parents almost every day! The freestyle machine is freaking expensive. We have two at my job and I make the truck orders. Just one sprite cartridge alone is now almost 90 dollars. It's freaking expensive.
5:08 is exactly why Rhett is the king of TH-cam. Tells us this serious matter of coming in contact with demineralized water and how awful it would be, and then says 6:04, 'maybe they were right' and takes a swig for our viewing.
Distilled water is not for drinking, it can be drank safely, but lacks important minerals and tastes bad. It's more for applications in which you need mineral free water. I personally use it when developing film as not to leave "water marks" (from the minerals) when it dries.
Distilled water TASTES like...blech...old water. However! It's the only water to use in a CPAP machine. How do I know this? Why, in addition to my diagnosis of GERD, I have lived for years with chronic obstructive sleep apnea and must use a CPAP machine at night.

the coca cola freestyle machines can be leased to restaurants for $300/mo, but you would need to buy the concentrate and you also need to run piping to the machine which could make for an expensive project for a youtube video

FYI, distilled water is completely demineralized. The distillation process removed all minerals from the water.
The IV-style syrup system, analytics/telemetry, and the CocaCola labels are why the freestyle machines are so expensive. Hopefully when the patents expire we will see something similar targeted for home use.
Alkaline water does nothing. Our bodies work hard to maintain homeostasis, and disrupting these systems, including pH, is dangerous. Your blood is around pH 7 and it needs to be that way to carry oxygen to your cells. Your stomach has a pH of 1-3. Any base you consume would be immediately neutralized in your stomach.
The Freestyle includes one (1) Coca-Cola Freestyle Machine and free flavor cartridges for three(3) months at anoverall cost of $2,500. It can also be rented for $320 a month, for $3,840 per year. You can save around $1,000 during the first year when you purchase the machine at this package.
