Bro thank you very much... I've been looking at a lot of videos on the radio not working. I bought my daughter a 2011 E350. Paid cash $7,000. Got into a car at the dealer and didn't have radio volume. I was not happy. Your video popped up first. With all the other videos, yours is the only one that showed the possibility. The others were focused on the modules checking the optics. I checked fuses first. Then, I pulled back the carpet to the connector. Low and behold, it was corroded. My daughter and i Sautered the wires together and then put heat shrink on it. The only thing im worried about is that two of the wires on the inside have black residue on it. Tried to cut back till i could get to shiney copper wire. I was losing wire. Im going to have to go back in and put jumper wires in to extend wire. My daughter and I thank you very much for your video. If it wasn't for you, i would have never been able to know what it would have been. God bless you, and thanks again.
No problem, man I'm glad to hear it, yeah this is my mom's car which actually just got totaled out by the insurance company because it kept having water intrusion If it sat outside in the rain and eventually it needed a wiring harness, which means the entire interior of the car had to be gutted so they just totaled it, so be aware that apparently it's a problem with the E350, I think it's water intrusion through the sunroof drains.

It very well could be. I would start with that since it’s the simplest cheapest thing to fix pull it up and see if there’s any corrosion under there
Where does this 1 grey wire go ? I’m in the process of re wiring currently
