hey, we have a tax of 24%, get rid of it then. $200 is also an impossible price for us. Nobody will even look if you put one on the price tag. In Finland, it is really difficult to support yourself as a woodturner, and on top of that, support your family. I'm happy if I get the coffee money on top of the expenses😂😂

Hi Jim, a greatly appreciated presentation this week again. Hi wish your son the happiest wedding day and lot's of pleasure for you parents. I enjoyed your added information on your motives going to woodturning. I completely share your motives ! After 42 years working as a university professor, rresearcher and international consultant travelling extensively around the world (almost 4 months per year on the road) I cherrish the peacefulness of my garage shop, the gratification of creation and holding finsihed products in my hand. All is positive contrary to the "bitching world od academia" I lived in for so long. I unfortunately started only at 71 and doubt I will ever be able to do all the different objects I'd like to try... Thanks for enabling us to learn so much from your videos, for selfmade turners it is invaluable.

Even if you don't enjoy mills as much as other work, you still make them beautiful. The striking contrast with the inlays to the resin sets all came out so well.

Thanks for explaining the economics involved in salt and pepper mills. You make nice mills but I understand why you don't do them often.

Totally understand the repetitive work. After Halloween I begin making snowmen for Christmas. On an average of about 250 to 300 in various sizes. Have been doing this for about 18 years. Great video 👍 Jim. Thanks for sharing.

I knew what this was at the end of last video. I’ve been watching so long that I know you don’t like making them.
Actually, I really like the resin ones.

I really like ALL your grinders but the purple and blue are my favorite ones. Green instead of blue would have been AWESOME!
