Apple used to give a 5 Watt charger with a phone that costs Rs. 1.5 Lakhs and now in 2021 they have removed the charger altogether. I think Samsung still did a good job by atleast providing one in the box

I had issue with my fingerprint scanner in my s20 when using with temper glasses also had tried several brands but none serves me well. so I had switched to gadgetshieldz thin film screen protectors, Its been 7 months and still it works well with my scanner. I'm hoping that Samsung had improved the sensitivity of the fingerprint scanner. Its looks super responsive in this video when Ranjith sir did the test.
One ui has come a long way indeed. Also I don't think the exynos 2100 has a day-night diff when compared with 888. Using s21+ for past few days and it has great performance and have not noticed any sort of heating or stutter as of now. So yes, exynos is definitely catching up with SD.

Sir one thing I would like to mention is that what you said about the front facing camera is on point. I have been using this smartphone from last 15 days. Bt one thing if u switch on the night mode even during the day while using the front facing camera it improves the performance a lot. It improves the dynamic range and picture quality by leaps and bounds. U can try it once it does the job.
@@neetnit99 See the first thing you need to keep in mind is that this phone was launched in oct 2020 in USA but in India it was launched in April 2021.. So Android 13 might be the last major Android update it will get somewhere in December this year..So it is you who have to decide whether you want to opt for a 2 yr old smartphone or opt for something else.. Otherwise the phone is pretty good..the triple camera setup on the back is quite capable of taking some really sharp photos till now..the front camera is something is a bit of concern..speakers are good..u got extra goodies like IP67 and wireless charging..the charging speed is pretty slow..as you only get a 15 W charger in the box..but atleast you get a charger..the battery backup is okay ish for me..the performance is good..I am not much of a gamer..so it does the job for me..snapdragon 865 is still pretty good..it doesn't support HDR on Netflix..but it do support HDR on TH-cam and on other platforms..For me I will continue using this phone for another year or so.. See it's upto you now...If you want to experience a samsung flagship on a budget then it's fine..don't spend more than 25k for this one now

In India this phone has been launched this year with Android 11 whereas globally it was launched last year with Android 10. Considering the out of box version is Android 11 for India so I’m expecting the phone will get Android 12, 13 and 14 updates. Any confirmation?
As a user of this phone myself for almost a month now, I must say you nailed it 100%. The lagy fingerprint sensor is the most irritating aspect, but otherwise the phone is really impressive.
I bought it, sir, after watching your unboxing video, and I have to admit sir this is really the best Samsung smartphone. earlier I was thinking to go for either one plus 9 or s21. But this phone at this price point of 45000 rs..I am really amazed and I am using this for the last 15 days of buying... really impressed with it.. the only thing I would like if the screen brightness was a little bit more in outdoor conditions...it is bright ...you can see but a little more would be perfect and if it would be given with a 25w adaptor...else no complain what so ever. and Ranjit sir video is awesome as usual sir. keep doing such more and more and keep updating us. Camera which was a major salepoint is now totaly gone....no more hdr working ...no more colour accurate...and many more... I would suggest if you can increase your budget go for S21 Fe else S22 series. But never ever go for Chinese vendors like oneplus or vivo etc....totally waste of money if your primary focus is camera
one small thing though... about the glass back.. 1. most people use their phones with a case... and also, 2. plastic is more durable and lighter. also doesn't shatter. picking functionality over form, I kinda prefer plastic over a glass back. cuz they're got wireless charging, and also doesn't attract fingerprints. what more could you want?
I bought this device right after its release in India (costs 46k) & first thing I did after receiving the device is disable all useless inbuilt apps & using overdrop app for weather. So no issues of irritating notification & ads for me. The only thing I hated is 15W charger in the box. Because of that I have to spend 1700 more to buy 25W charger & type - c to c cable. And yes front camera is average, so I suggest using Gcam for front camera... It is better.

I have been using S20 FE 5G for 4 weeks now and i am very happy abt everything except the front facing camera and charging speed. I bought the 25W charger now and its not fast as expected but better than 15W. I have never came across any ads, the camera is fantastic. I agree with every pro and con mentioned here. Edit: I have shifted to S22 Ultra.

as a proud owner of one I'd say its the best 'All rounder' available in the Indian market. Water proof, Dolby Stereo Speakers, Nice cameras, 5G future ready decent size and the best part... awesome display for media consumption... am not a gamer so no reviews viz games... I like this glastic back better as it is economic to replace... cost effective... you dont need covers anymore...
Sorry no plans to reviewing that.... just too many devices are launching in the market and I simply can't review all of them. As doing a proper review takes a lot of time as I have to actually use the smartphone for several days.
mahesh: I guess most reviewers might feel that the iQOO 7 is offering a way better value to users as you can get it for less than 30K.... these days so many devices are launching so it's very difficult to cover all devices and you have to select among the devices that you have..... Personally due to Corona not staff is there working alone for more than a month.... I am personally tired of this continuous on slaught of new smartphones launching sort of fed up with so many launches to be frank, as just can't do proper coverage of so many phones.

Since the proximity sensor is software based, has Samsung pushed any updates recently to fine tune its virtual proximity sensor ? Did you face any issues with it ? I am about to buy this phone but the performance of virtual proximity sensor would be a deal breaker for me. Thank you.

I know it's been more than an year since Samsung S20 FE 5G has launched. It costs $492 in India now after S21 FE 5G is out. But still it's one of the highest selling midrange phones here and I'm planning to buy Samsung S20 FE 5G now. Don't start hating me and I know there are competitors out there such as One plus 9R/ 9RT. But at $500 I feel this is still one heck of a deal. Also I seriously wanted to go to OnePlus 9 series but it is having so many negative reviews. I'm not willing to take any chances with it. I know Xiaomi and Realme offer better specs at lower prices but after using 4 Redmi phones, 3 Mi bands, and countless other Mi accessories till now, I feel it is finally time to move out of the ecosystem. Samsung S20 FE 5G still stands out as one of the best mid range smartphones (in India atleast) as of 2022 January. S21 FE 5G is out but I don't see huge improvements worth considering. With exchange offers, coupon codes and other offers, Samsung S20 FE 5G is available for as low as $312 and I'm seriously considering to buy it.

Great to know .. Even i am looking out for this mobile in March 2022.. Fed up with the series of new mobiles launched by moto that lack the main feature (Compass sensor).. A Samsung A50 for last 3 Years.. no major complaints other than the device aging issue .. Hope the s20 fe is a worth a buy now after a year of launch.. A perfect phone for gifting to your parents. Trusted non-chinese company, clean ui, good battery backup, good back camera. Now that it's available for 30k even makes it a better deal.

I didn't even think or expect that Samsung will push ads with this phone. even for low-end phones why are these companies pushing ads, if they are not able to make devices at that price, then don't manufacture. people are spending their hard-earned money. From the very beginning, I have been a moto user, I just thought to have a change, a flagship series phone. Surely I won't turn back to these sort of ad devices. Better can stick with Motorola.

@@neetnit99 See the first thing you need to keep in mind is that this phone was launched in oct 2020 in USA but in India it was launched in April 2021.. So Android 13 might be the last major Android update it will get somewhere in December this year..So it is you who have to decide whether you want to opt for a 2 yr old smartphone or opt for something else.. Otherwise the phone is pretty good..the triple camera setup on the back is quite capable of taking some really sharp photos till now..the front camera is something is a bit of concern..speakers are good..u got extra goodies like IP67 and wireless charging..the charging speed is pretty slow..as you only get a 15 W charger in the box..but atleast you get a charger..the battery backup is okay ish for me..the performance is good..I am not much of a gamer..so it does the job for me..snapdragon 865 is still pretty good..it doesn't support HDR on Netflix..but it do support HDR on TH-cam and on other platforms..For me I will continue using this phone for another year or so..
See it's upto you now...If you want to experience a samsung flagship on a budget then it's fine..don't spend more than 25k for this one now

In India this phone has been launched this year with Android 11 whereas globally it was launched last year with Android 10.
Considering the out of box version is Android 11 for India so I’m expecting the phone will get Android 12, 13 and 14 updates. Any confirmation?

As a user of this phone myself for almost a month now, I must say you nailed it 100%. The lagy fingerprint sensor is the most irritating aspect, but otherwise the phone is really impressive.

I bought it, sir, after watching your unboxing video, and I have to admit sir this is really the best Samsung smartphone. earlier I was thinking to go for either one plus 9 or s21. But this phone at this price point of 45000 rs..I am really amazed and I am using this for the last 15 days of buying... really impressed with it.. the only thing I would like if the screen brightness was a little bit more in outdoor conditions...it is bright ...you can see but a little more would be perfect and if it would be given with a 25w adaptor...else no complain what so ever.

You are absolutely right about the screen not being that bright. I have been using this phone for around 3 months now , I too felt the same.
one small thing though... about the glass back.. 1. most people use their phones with a case... and also, 2. plastic is more durable and lighter. also doesn't shatter. picking functionality over form, I kinda prefer plastic over a glass back. cuz they're got wireless charging, and also doesn't attract fingerprints. what more could you want?

I bought this device right after its release in India (costs 46k) & first thing I did after receiving the device is disable all useless inbuilt apps & using overdrop app for weather. So no issues of irritating notification & ads for me. The only thing I hated is 15W charger in the box. Because of that I have to spend 1700 more to buy 25W charger & type - c to c cable. And yes front camera is average, so I suggest using Gcam for front camera... It is better.

I have been using S20 FE 5G for 4 weeks now and i am very happy abt everything except the front facing camera and charging speed. I bought the 25W charger now and its not fast as expected but better than 15W. I have never came across any ads, the camera is fantastic. I agree with every pro and con mentioned here.

mahesh: I guess most reviewers might feel that the iQOO 7 is offering a way better value to users as you can get it for less than 30K.... these days so many devices are launching so it's very difficult to cover all devices and you have to select among the devices that you have..... Personally due to Corona not staff is there working alone for more than a month.... I am personally tired of this continuous on slaught of new smartphones launching sort of fed up with so many launches to be frank, as just can't do proper coverage of so many phones.

Design is average..looks like a 15000 phone...I was also thinking to buy s20 fe due to sale..went to a store yesterday saw the blue colour...seeing the design I got dissapointed...s20+ looks awesome however..

Yes the software features are the same as the S21... it has full Konx and DEX support also.

I know it's been more than an year since Samsung S20 FE 5G has launched. It costs $492 in India now after S21 FE 5G is out. But still it's one of the highest selling midrange phones here and I'm planning to buy Samsung S20 FE 5G now. Don't start hating me and I know there are competitors out there such as One plus 9R/ 9RT. But at $500 I feel this is still one heck of a deal. Also I seriously wanted to go to OnePlus 9 series but it is having so many negative reviews. I'm not willing to take any chances with it.
I know Xiaomi and Realme offer better specs at lower prices but after using 4 Redmi phones, 3 Mi bands, and countless other Mi accessories till now, I feel it is finally time to move out of the ecosystem.
Samsung S20 FE 5G still stands out as one of the best mid range smartphones (in India atleast) as of 2022 January. S21 FE 5G is out but I don't see huge improvements worth considering.
With exchange offers, coupon codes and other offers, Samsung S20 FE 5G is available for as low as $312 and I'm seriously considering to buy it.

Thanks, I would have purchased this yesterday. I went to reliance digital and almost finalized. But still, I thought to check out the reviews, thank god you have saved me Rs.38,500/-. I didn't even think or expect that Samsung will push ads with this phone. even for low-end phones why are these companies pushing ads, if they are not able to make devices at that price, then don't manufacture. people are spending their hard-earned money.
