I am still using my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE great phone I have ever owned. I bought this phone in June 2021 and it is still going strong to this day. The camera still takes decent pics in daylight and but at low light it struggles which is normal for an older mid-range tier flagship level device.
Lmao there's no way. With it's new design now all the Samsung phones look way more premium than the s20fe. I guess it's down to preferences but now ALL THE Samsung phones look way more polished and clean than before.
They have gone backwards so I ain't spending a dime on their flagship phone anymore. Over priced phone will less practical features. No phone jack (for goodness sake it's called PHONE JACK!), no SDCard, no removable battery for such price point is a real deal breaker to me.
The only reason I had to upgrade from 20fe to 24fe was the battery issue. But glad I upgraded, the phone is brilliant the display, speakers, battery and the speed. Money well spent
Im having this dilemma right now. I have a S20FE with snapdragon, 256GB / 8GB. I can get the S24FE 256GB for $600 with the top samsung case and screen protector. The S20FE has been so modern and reliable that i find it a struggle to rationalise paying for an upgrade. Realistically it would only be for the Android updates and that's about it.
I am in the exact same boat. I have the s20 fe as well and Its actually pretty staggering the lack of differences between these two devices. The only reason why I am considering upgrading is I find the battery life is certainly becoming worse. Other then that, limited complaints
imo new updates don't bring much improvements but if you want to upgrade wait a few months after launch s25 series , FE will definitely get a significant price cut you can even get S24+ for cheaper than 600

Plus the IA, the bigger and way better screen, the design that looks better in my opinion on the new ones and now charge speeds are at 25w. Also Samsung is gonna provide a LOT of updates for it's new phones while the s20fe is no longer supported. The s24fe is hands down wayyyy better and worth the upgrade.
7years of update vs no more update is a huge thing, but to get it in value for money, wait a few months as FE's price reduces drastically, and get in big billion days etc
I was considering upgrading from s20 fe to s24 fe, but I still think the s20 fe is still better. I think I will have to wait for another year or two till I find something worthier to replace my s20fe with. Besides, I still have it in the color lavander, such a pretty color.
I would still buy the s20FE instead of the freaking s24FE, even if they were the same prize today..The expandable memory feature of S20FE overides any other advantage the s24 has over s20, as the S20FE has already got more than enough features for a smartphone user
Nice video man, the way you express yourself is nice. The biggest difference between the 2 (aside from the little software updates like AI) is the processor's speed, theres not much to improve in terms of screen, sound and desing is relative, but the difference will be noticeable in the fps of the most demanding games, for the casual user that just cares for social apps then both can be a good option.

I bought S20 FE for maybe 2 years ago for about 350 Euros and I'm very pleased with it. My wife has an S23 FE and man what a heavy and chunky phone! Will not upgrade in the near future I think.
I have zero problem with the plastic/polly back , it’s more robust to knocks but the reason I wouldn’t recommend the s20 and cheaper a14 is because of the chipset once they turn off 2/3G you won’t be able to call emergency service in some countries , this is not being talked enough about as a phone with vote doesn’t mean it will be compatible since sub 2021 phones due to construction shortcomings with the modem chipset use a sub powered /older chipset which switches back to 2g/3G for emergency calls due to signal strength
14:14 not even in the camera dept.i see much of a difference, in fact, I preferred some of the images taken from the s20fe here..the only reasonable upgrade i see in the s24 fe is its higher brightness, but it's nothing compared to the expandable storage option S20FE is having, now I have 1,128GB(1000GB + 128GB) in my S20 FE. I really feel sad for those who went for any FE series after S20FE

tbh S20 FE is one of the best samsung phones ive used. Samsung remains as the best phone maker imo. Since Galaxy S series at least. I am upgrading to the S24 FE simply because my service provider is offering it at 0$. Otherwise there is no reason to upgrade. Samsung outdone itself with the S20 FE.

I would say go for the 16plus. But that's my opinion, I recommend you to a store and check them both and compare them to the 13 and after some consideration make a decision based on your needs and budget. Im on my s20fe 4g exynos still, i dont need 5g, i havent bought mobile data in 3 years.. sometimes i get notifications about weakening battery, so the phone doesnt have the full speed anymore. It mainly affects the camera app, its sometimes really slow and then it crashes or i get the notification that the camera app is not reacting, so i either can wait or close the app. Most of the time it works if i click wait.. I probably buy the s25 ultra when it comes out, i just hope there will be a version with more than 1tb, because on the s20fe i have 1tb sdxc + 128gb intern so the s25 ultra will be a downgrade for the storage. I also have a 1.5tb microsdxc laying around 😅

128 GB / 6GB S20FE here, struggling with both storage and RAM and screen time. Therefore, I would consider upgrading to the 256 GB / 8 GB.

The S24 FE display does not stand up to the crispness of the S20 FE display, even after pushing the vivid bar all the way up.

I regret trading in my S20 FE for a 13 Pro Max. The iphones baseband got fried and now I have a bricked iphone even if I had paid off the phone.
Just use a usb c thumb drive it has faster transfer speeds than a micro sd card if you want backup locally and not use cloud storage.

Dynamic amoled is the newer version of super amoled so Dynamic amoled is better
So t osum up, if you own an S20 FE that works well, you don't need to upgrade unless you are a gamer.
