I still don't understand why this game got so much hate. I don't think it's bad at all. The face animations are a little goofy, but i still think it's an awesome game. I've had a lot of fun playing it myself.
yeah hate is a strong word, but i wouldn't personally say the game is awesome. It's decent don't get me wrong but it falls short in so many other areas in terms of story and just generally being buggy as hell.. I got a nasty bug for example where killing an enemy, any enemy, would freeze the game for several seconds before resuming. I hope bioware steps their game up with the sequel as I am interested in seeing how the game world develops, but at the same time I can acknowledge that this was a rocky start.
personally I'm on my third play through and I have ruffly about 80 hours and I have to say that it's not that bad but it is buggy and I don't know if it's just me but I have issues with exp in that I kill a group of enemies and get 0xp or 29xp which is a little insulting or the fact that I went 3 hours without leveling up mind you I'm on insanity and there's just to many things personally to keep from saying that I love the game or even in that right that it's a great game I will say however it is a good game mind you I wish they would have kept updates going and in the very least 1 or 2 dlc's. ON A SIDE NOTE: why the f#%$ do I get pretty much all the characters off bat I was wanting more or a challenge for them make it something worth my time sorry for the rant :)
Pro tip: if you had gone life support, every time you hit the button for either you drone or turrent to target something you regen health with no cool down or delay because that is considered using a tech power also works with omni vents
FudgeMuppet, nice video, love your builds! But could show some more gameplay of the builds on your videos? Seeing the build in action helps a lot to understand it and its very fun! Thanks
Augusto Nicolai he cannot because this build sucks And he know that, there is, weapons are not upgraded, skills are doing the same thing ( take down shields And die very quick ) even on hard this build suck balls
Plus you can have Energy Drain upgraded to either prime or detonate depending on whether your squad mates/constructs have primed that enemy already yet.
Martin Meers absolutely, especially with two specific passives. one letting me charge my shield when invisible, and other that automatically activates shield recharge when activating any tech ability. Plus that bonus damage is a wonderful bonus with a sniper in hand.
You need to read the desc for Maximum Charge. It also adds another target to chaining so you could actually go anti-shield and Max Charge and have the same benefit with the only trade being bonus Synthetic damage for extra chaining damage
i just searched for tech builds for mass effect because i just picked it up yesterday...and what do ya know! i used to watch FudgeMuppet's skyrim builds! glad to see he does mass effect as well!
I did a similar thing, focusing on my tech constructs. Difference is that I set my Ai to detonate combo's, and use a tactical cloak with a sniper rifle.
Thanks for the build. I might just try it out. Now if I can just find enough remnant data to build the sweeper and equalizer. Would be nice if I could use an altern for weapons until I find what I'm looking for.
Why overload over energy drain? I have been doing my engineer with energy drain and incinerate both able to be primers and detonators and my turret with cryo
Well I was going to react to the '12' but that's been dealt with :) I want to be flingin everything I've got at the enemy like in the previous games. Whatever, it's a minor annoyance compared to some of the big flaws in the game
What are you talking about flinging everything like in the previous games? In the previous games you had a global cooldown, so no "flinging everything you had". I think the lady doth protest too much.
What weapons augments and mods did you use for your weapons? Or what would you recommend? As I am trying out this build on my second mass effect andromeda play through, I really like the idea of an engineer build focusing on tech constructs and Jaal and Vetra are both my main squad mates anyway 😊
Auxillary Systems rank 5 dilation over enduring tech? how does overload benefit from that? I think that is more for something like the 3M AoE energy drain?
how's this build on insanity? Does it do enough damage to be viable? I noticed you went with an smg and an assault rifle, two generally terrible weapon choices at higher difficulties due to the hp possessed by the enemy.
Isn;t it slightly early for there to even be a contender for best? The game hasn't been out very long, each patch will change the numbers dramatically (not to mention DLC). Add in differences in opinion on what "best" means (highest damage, survivability, cc ect.) and I'm suprised this is even a thing ATM.
If you haven't, I'd check out the Isharay/Bio-Converter/Tech Support combo which is ridiculously broken right now. I'd be willing to wager that as the best build in game right now.
Nate Mize is unbelievable for Insanity. Makes it too easy in my opinion. Just do a search for a Tech/Sniper builds and you should come across some stuff.
That's a very good support build, though i rather be a wrecking ball casting fire and thunder at my enemies. Anyone who says that the Biotic build is the mage build is wrong as hell in my opnion; Biotics are kinda of a X-Men psionic or some shit, mages don't create strange purple things, they throw the elements in your fckn face.
Man I wish invasion had primer/detonator, this would be the perfect "Pet Class" if it did. Really needs a 4th power. Also, there is a way with the remnant vi to basically heal yourself every time you tell it to attack something.
I went with flamethrower, cryo beam and overload mostly cause I like ice powers, and I got 3 elemental attacks that can be used very frequently and I just like the flamethrower, it's probably the best flamethrower I've used in a game it's usually not very effective in other games.
All these Engineer build videos from different YTer's and none of em is using the combat drone for tech combos. (at least in the videos I've seen) sigh The combat drone is a free primer , it literally primes every single time it explodes when near an enemy. Then splash with Energy drain for an easy tech combo. (FYI -The combat drone is the little orb/ball floating around the Engineer)
nice work FudgeMuppet, your video is my resource since fallout 4 so thx and keep going your work. so can you make another build forr mass effect andromeda? i'll wait but once again thx for your build.
I just find it strange you went for damage over cooldown when you want everything to prime and you detonating but you have full cooldowns🤷♂️yes I'm talking about overload. Effects that trigger on power usage benefit immensely from having approximately 0 cooldown🤔 Same with the adept not going for biotic damage but going nuclear on detonation and echos (they tend to trivialize fights when enemies are either staggered or flung into orbit with chain-booms)
Good video Fudge Muppet. When you come around Fallout 4 again for the builds, can you try to do blade runner or kyle reese build. I think these two characters would work perfectly for the game, considering their backstory
Annihilation backlash charge and a powerful shotgun like hesh in full auto. These three skills all have upgrades that regen shields, you can even pick recharge speed over added shield regen for charge Pick the remnant set, slap kinetic coils everywhere for added damage resistance, you can know decimate people with a good alternated use of shotgun hell and bubble protection that reflects dmg back to ennemies
Yep still posting this This is a little late but can you make a skyrim build kinda like a Jedi who uses magic like a guide The main concept could be he was injured blind so he look to the gods. Some god gives him power to see through magic. He uses magic for armor, and to stop enemies by using pacify he's kinda a pacifist but will kill if he has to. I guess he could be a evil guy if the god who gave him this power is evil. Make him look like a monk a give him the two blind eyes. Please reply if you guys read this.
You forgot to include the Atronach stone.
I still don't understand why this game got so much hate. I don't think it's bad at all. The face animations are a little goofy, but i still think it's an awesome game. I've had a lot of fun playing it myself.

I kinda thought it would suck, before playing it (coz I hated ME3), but then I gave it a chance, can't stop playing this shit lol
The Marmot same
I'm on my 5'th playthrough
personally I'm on my third play through and I have ruffly about 80 hours and I have to say that it's not that bad but it is buggy and I don't know if it's just me but I have issues with exp in that I kill a group of enemies and get 0xp or 29xp which is a little insulting or the fact that I went 3 hours without leveling up mind you I'm on insanity and there's just to many things personally to keep from saying that I love the game or even in that right that it's a great game I will say however it is a good game mind you I wish they would have kept updates going and in the very least 1 or 2 dlc's. I use Tactical Cloak instead of Overload, so i just activate both my constructs and hide :) Works pretty well on Hard (Difficulty).
I really dig these builds, FudgeMuppet. I'm on my first New Game+, and this is making me rethink my stance on not using the tech bots.
In the place of Overload, wouldnt Energy Drain be better since it can restore your shield (as well as teammates with Auxilary Drain)?
Plus you can have Energy Drain upgraded to either prime or detonate depending on whether your squad mates/constructs have primed that enemy already yet.
***** see, you get it.
Martin Meers I use this build and insead of overload i found cloak to be better, especially with a sniper rifle.
That sounds effective and survivable
Martin Meers absolutely, especially with two specific passives. one letting me charge my shield when invisible, and other that automatically activates shield recharge when activating any tech ability. Plus that bonus damage is a wonderful bonus with a sniper in hand.
You need to read the desc for Maximum Charge. It also adds another target to chaining so you could actually go anti-shield and Max Charge and have the same benefit with the only trade being bonus Synthetic damage for extra chaining damage
Nice construct build :) Keep 'em coming guys! Hybrids next perhaps? Sentinel, Explorer, etc.
i just searched for tech builds for mass effect because i just picked it up yesterday...and what do ya know! i used to watch FudgeMuppet's skyrim builds! glad to see he does mass effect as well!
I did a similar thing, focusing on my tech constructs. Difference is that I set my Ai to detonate combo's, and use a tactical cloak with a sniper rifle.
Remnant VI+Incinerate+Overload was mine, used both the T6 shield and health heal passives, again that was meant for insanity.
I used this build for my first playthrough in conjunction with the Infiltrator build, honestly so overpowered, keep it up guys
Life support tech passive is better, you regenerate health every time you put up a construct or command a construct so it's pretty damn good.
Thanks for the build. I might just try it out. Now if I can just find enough remnant data to build the sweeper and equalizer. Would be nice if I could use an altern for weapons until I find what I'm looking for.
How does the opposite (Elemental Tech) side hold up in Insanity?
Why overload over energy drain? I have been doing my engineer with energy drain and incinerate both able to be primers and detonators and my turret with cryo
Always preferred the engineers in ME. Shame you can only bring 3 powers in this version, because it's the only setback in terms of combat in the game
Nicolas De Raedt 12, there are four favourites each allowing 3 powers
BrutasBurtos when you switch it forces a cool down which sucks if your not a spellslingin space badass
Bishop Gale yes but if you make sure the recharge rates or decent then by rights changing shouldn't effect you, however, I do see your point
I just bought this game for $20 at my local Walmart and it is fun. Currently going for an engineer type.
Issac: Doing Gods work mate.
What weapons augments and mods did you use for your weapons? Or what would you recommend? As I am trying out this build on my second mass effect andromeda play through, I really like the idea of an engineer build focusing on tech constructs and Jaal and Vetra are both my main squad mates anyway 😊
Love your build I'm doing a play. Threw on your vanguard set up right now. But could you do the explore set up next?
Build gameplay at 19:58 and the video is only 16 minutes hmmmm
Auxillary Systems rank 5 dilation over enduring tech? how does overload benefit from that? I think that is more for something like the 3M AoE energy drain?
how's this build on insanity? Does it do enough damage to be viable? I noticed you went with an smg and an assault rifle, two generally terrible weapon choices at higher difficulties due to the hp possessed by the enemy.
Guna try this build for my first ever insanity run.
Do your constructs go away if you change profiles? You could lay down your constructs and go full elemental if they don't 😜
I like vetra and peebee her invasion built on debuff is nasty.
No synergy...what's the opposite of "best"?
If you haven't, I'd check out the Isharay/Bio-Converter/Tech Support combo which is ridiculously broken right now. I'd be willing to wager that as the best build in game right now.
Apex of War what is that, I've never heard of a build like that
Nate Mize Imagine an Isharay Sniper with unlimited ammo, no reload needed, and health/shield generation that always keeps you alive.
Sounds pretty good for insanity mode
Nate Mize is unbelievable for Insanity. Makes it too easy in my opinion. Just do a search for a Tech/Sniper builds and you should come across some stuff.
Cool,I'll try this out for myself
Please do a top (Random number) abilities count down please I'd love to see what's your favorite abilities and etc.
How do you heal yourself with the remnant vi??
I think it would be cool if you did builds & load outs for the multiplayer!
Gotta move that gear up
Okay but when will we ever get an adept build!?
best mod slots for angaran armor?
I went with flamethrower, cryo beam and overload mostly cause I like ice powers, and I got 3 elemental attacks that can be used very frequently and I just like the flamethrower, it's probably the best flamethrower I've used in a game it's usually not very effective in other games.
i swapped from sentinel to vanguard but kept the tech abilities as a bit of a booster plus who doesn't like flamethrowers or energry drain
All these Engineer build videos from different YTer's and none of em is using the combat drone for tech combos.
(at least in the videos I've seen)
sigh
The combat drone is a free primer , it literally primes every single time it explodes when near an enemy. Then splash with Energy drain for an easy tech combo.

nice work FudgeMuppet, your video is my resource since fallout 4 so thx and keep going your work. so can you make another build forr mass effect andromeda? i'll wait but once again thx for your build.
Can't wait for the sentinel build!
Soldier build next
I just find it strange you went for damage over cooldown when you want everything to prime and you detonating but you have full cooldowns🤷♂️yes I'm talking about overload.
Effects that trigger on power usage benefit immensely from having approximately 0 cooldown🤔

Leader Build?
Good video Fudge Muppet. When you come around Fallout 4 again for the builds, can you try to do blade runner or kyle reese build. I think these two characters would work perfectly for the game, considering their backstory
Does it annoy anyone else that the tech classes get a special bonus power while the other 2 power classes don't?
Lord Parbr biotics and vanguards do
Is there multiplayer in mass effect, I wanna see if it's worth it
Yeah there is multiplayer
i use something similar, except i use the missiles on vi and have cloak as my middle power
Explorer build!
very good build 😀
Love your vids and builds and backstory. Keep it up 👌👌👌
I have 0 desire to play this game but I LOVE watching your content im a nerd and I love the numbers and the rationale behind the build great work

In mass effect andromeda, please make a tank build in the game.
Annihilation backlash charge and a powerful shotgun like hesh in full auto.
These three skills all have upgrades that regen shields, you can even pick recharge speed over added shield regen for charge
Pick the remnant set, slap kinetic coils everywhere for added damage resistance, you can know decimate people with a good alternated use of shotgun hell and bubble protection that reflects dmg back to ennemies
fusion mod of robotics pls
I love this game!!
Please please do a soldier and explorer. I've searched and all build guides ever suck badly compared to yours, please!

Do a Skyrim guide on Nettlebane - Temple of Kynareth
Yep still posting this This is a little late but can you make a skyrim build kinda like a Jedi who uses magic like a guide

Kingslay3R This is just construct, construct, overload. At least Vanguard is mobile, and utilizes the games mechanics to the fullest.
Do a build of someone whose face is tired.
Not a fan of the build, too passive
