Original head gasket too!!!! We have 2 high mileage third generation 4Runners also but the 450 is the QUEEN !!!!

From the convos I (reluctantly) have with other enthusiasts, it explains why so many of you are clueless meatheads with one-track minds and not well informed on how automotive engineering and product planning works fullscale. The LX 450 was carefully studied over a 2 1/2 year period, following the introduction of the FZJ80 in late 1992 and project start of the 1995 updates to the J80. LX wasn't even developed in the late 90s, plus all these clips of pre-95s are irrelevant. The only clips should be of 1995-97s, that had the same dashboard and internal changes. Can't even get the basic name of the QX4 right whatsoever. This individual has no business commenting on automotive history, if he can't get his facts right. It's says more about the audience believing this crap, than it does the charlatan putting it forward.
There's definitely some small differences here and there. I know a lot of folks like the LC over the LX, and the LC tends to go for higher resale value. But I personally like the LX450 better myself. The door panels are nicer and more well built, the seats are more comfortable (yes they're different), and the I have a soft spot for a white LX450 with beige-ish lower cladding. Just looks perfect in my opinion. And when normal people see a jacked up, lifted, on 37's Lexus, the looks and comments are always entertaining!
Yes, tends to because it says "Land Cruiser" on it's but as more people recognize the LX was actually the more expensive one when it came out the factory the prices are leveling out.
I have the white one with gray you want. Im working on it. It is driving and running, but sat for about 11 years. Triple locked. 168k, body almost perfect. Surface rust underneath, driver seat needs reupholstering. Needs a stereo and antenna. Im in the middle of breaks. Just finished rear complete job. front breaks and bearings next. Will need a muffler. Also has 1 leak and i think it is from the the second oil pan. Will tackle that eventually. But very nice over all. Have had about 4 people asking to buy it and it is not even registered yet. Got it back in February. I have commented on your videos before.
My friend Travis is picking up a 97 Lexus 450 tomorrow it’s sitting on 37 looks like a pretty cool rig. It needs a roof rack and I think he needs a spare tire and he needs to get a rear bumper for it.

I had a lc and now have an lx450. And it drives better. Softer feel to it. Tripple locked! Will save it for the not so far future.
