Hi Lilie, I have a question. People usually say, Don't add someone's quotations in writing task 2 as an example. So what is your opinion about this? because you added Peter Thiel's own remarks.
In an argument essay you expose/*discuss both sides or views* and then give your opinion (at the end, usually by the strongest argument), letting the reader aknowledge both sides arguments (without your opinion influence) so you WON'T DEVELOP THE ARGUMENTS BY YOUR POSITION but GIVING THE REASONS OF BOTH SIDES and then expose your final position with all the information given. In this case we are talking about a ✨balance an argument IELTS question✨

While some think the best way is to use the death penalty as a deterrent, many people believe that other measures will be needed. It says measure means plural. Do i need to write one measue or 2? Could u plz make it clear??? I Didn't see this type of question before.

Please ma'am, why is it that you gave only one reason when the question says reasons meaning that there should be more than one reason. Secondly, is it advisable to write 2 different reasons in a single paragraph?
Hi Lilie !! I have this question about word count in ielts writing. Would you please tell me about it. Question is : in ielts writing do they count prepositions and articles as words or not?

Or will I loss the mark ?
I don't think it will. I used different collocations, e.g., "make changes" and "resist change". Don't worry about repeating an individual word, especially when that word is a key word.
