That right there is pretty much my dream truck. I have a 2006 king ranch that’s still in amazing shape, but to me these are exceptional vehicles. Great walk round. Thanks.
As always, I really enjoy watching your reviews👍. I’ve always been a Ford truck guy. I recently bought a rather large bumper pull toy hauler and needed to upgrade to a diesel. I contacted some of the local Ford dealerships in my area and they all said that they were getting on average between $5000-$8000 over MSRP depending on package. I decided to buy a 2022 Ram Limited night edition and have no regrets whatsoever. Ford has lost a loyal customer because they wanted to be greedy.
Thanks, Kisselback Ford said that for their repeat buyers, they would do $1500-$2000 over invoice for orders but sadly a lot of dealers are gouging people just needing a truck for work… Congrats on the RAM 👍🏾
if you order a truck there isn’t any mark up with most dealers. I looked at the Rams and liked their interiors. But after did a bunch of research I ordered another Ford. I wish you luck but think you will come back to Ford on your next truck. It’s the number one selling truck for a reason.
@@randy1160 and there is a reason why the Cummins is so legendary. Even though the Chrysler transmissions are just so so, people buy Rams because of that legendary Cummins under the hood. He will enjoy his Ram just fine for many many years.
I've been thinking about getting a Super Duty, specifically a King Ranch. This was the most comprehensive walk through video that i've seen. It was exactly what I needed to see. Thank you!
Thanks for the variety that you are covering. I’m actually shopping for a truck and I take the time to watch your video’s you make because you do show pretty much everything the vehicle offers and it’s capabilities as well. You are doing the dealerships a favor with your video’s JB.
Great job describing each function of the truck! I ordered mine 18 months ago and it just came in today! Nice thing was that Ford locked in my price for May 01 21 and saved me the subsequent markup of about $8k! I have a few more options than thos listed here but am ready to start driving my beast!
Nice review, but once you get past that huge new screen (if that’s your thing) I just see acres of hard plastic that Ford typically does. Disappointing for a top end trim level. I also disagree about best designed interior…I think Ram is still better (and more comfortable seats!).
Just bought a lariat 250...black out package and panoramic moon roof. Can't wait for it to come in (they said 3 months). So much better deal than a used model right now! First time you can drive off a lot and increase your value.
I went from a 2017 F350 to the new Ram 3500 (2019). The interior on the Ram is far superior to the Ford; especially the screen. The screen in the Ram is very colorful and vibrant compared to the new Ford screen. I loved Ford's massage seats; something the Ram doesn't offer. I hate the mirrors on the Ram. These seem like they are from the '80s and have to be manually moved (flipped) to get to tow mode. Compared to my old Ford (diesel) I could not feel the torque on the Ram. But once I installed the Banks Pedal Monster it made a massive improvement. With the Ford, I could feel the torque at all times. The one thing that I wish Ford still offered is the Wide Track front end. Ford's turning radius is terrible topping out at 29.8'. To get the Wide Track on a Super Duty, one has to get a F450 which is 25.2'. This makes a big difference when turning in a tight parking spot or parking a trailer. I am going to take a hard look at the new, resigned F350/450 for 2023. Supposedly Ford is going to do a redesign on the interior. It is great to see these companies keep upping their game on these beautiful trucks.
The Ford 6.7 has incredible power,, pulls like a freight train.. And...Remember, Ford gives an option to DE-RATE the super duty! You can d-rate an F350 srw to 10k pounds for insurance or registration constraints . You can also de-rate a f250. I just got my 22 F350 6.7 Tremor Lariat delivered. 3326 payload capacity. No sunroof and has 5th wheel prep. The Tremor package reduces payload. If I did not have Tremor package, I'd be 3800+ for payload . The F350 long bed has a 12500 gvwr, which is also underrated due to the more actual axle capacity.
If you’re going to de-rate either you can’t afford the truck or you should just buy any half ton truck. So much useless b.s. items here. I guess cameras in case your head doesn’t swivel, lights on the running boards if you’re too blind to see at night. This is a truck for people who have plenty of money to burn. I’ve been driving pickups since the mid 70s, for me at least simpler is better. But that’s me, to each their own. This is my two cents worth.
I would not want to derate any truck I buy and own. I'm not buying it for commercial purposes anyway (I could for farming, I guess). I want the F350 KR to replace my 08 Dodge Ram QC 4x4 long bed with the Cummins 6.7 diesel. Too many problems with diesel and the use of DEF is just an added maintenance item. I carry heavy loads (>3,500#) plus a 12,000# trailer with a Jeep on-board.
My thoughts exactly. I have a 21kr and was almost positive they all came equipped with the LED’s. Also that damn payload is wayyy low. Mine is above 3k.
I'll keep my 2022 Chevy 2500HD... it's an actual HD. Not arguing against the King Ranch; they're definitely one of the most beautiful interiors. But the Chevy has better capabilities, in my opinion.
Higher GVWR on the GM trucks although it is available on the Fords too, just not as much of an increase which is what the 1 ton is for. Ram is slacking in the 3/4 market…
Last year I almost bought the Chevy 3500, but the outside mirror was so large and so tall it completely blocked my wife's view to the left. Nice truck otherwise.
Great review! I currently have a 2015 gmc denali with a blown head gasket at 116k miles, looking at 12k-15k in repairs and I’m seriously looking at buying a king ranch ford!
Ford trucks are noticeably more expensive but I too was surprised by the price of this truck. The KR competes with the Ram Laramie and Limited Longhorn depending on how you option them 👍🏾
I just found your channel and I love it. My favorite truck and an awesome job doing the walk through. Great job and I will be looking forward to more videos from you.
I own 2015 f350 king ranch.thought it was the best interior out there..but the dodge longhorn beige interior is on its own level!! So many small and big crazy details.bought the wife one last week
Dodge's window is finally opening bigger. I liked the motor but hated the ergonomics and interior. Agree, they've stepped it up. Yellowstone is boosting their opportunities. I still like the new '22 Ford though. Might sell my yacht to get one.
I think the Ford long bed is the best. The King Ranch appliqué used to always come on the truck, but now you only get that with the chrome package. The platinum and limited always get the chrome appliqué. You can spec out a lariat to look like a king ranch with the two tone paint, but if you spec out all of those options, it would cost more than the KR. This is the exact truck I would get, but with the chrome package and the ultimate KR package with the LED lights. I would also get it as Rapid Red with stone second color.
Thanks JB for the terrific review. Wow that truck is long. Need an airport to turn that thing around in. I get it however. Can’t deny the laws of physics.
I ordered a 2022 and when it came in . I drove it 3 days and a HORRIBLE grinding noise from the rear end . Took an $83k truck to the shop and they told me to drive it and it might work itself out. Super bad turbo lag in 1-2-3 gears . And the Duramax definitely shifts way smoother!! I love the looks of them , but I should have known better my 18 model had tons of issues also 😕
I can’t believe Ford DOESN’T USE LED LIGHTS AFTER SPENDING $79k I have a 2021 king Ranch with leds but you do pay for it I think it is crazy Love the star white metallic
Can't decide between 2022 F350 DRW King Ranch or Platinum. Not sure I want the dark brown interior of the KR or black of the Plat. but both have the lighter brown seats which I love. Any thoughts on ETA if someone were to order? I live in CO with a Ford dealer right down the street basically but always curious what reps will say across the board and get an average lol
I've had two leaks in my power steering on my 21 f250. The first repair was an o ring on the high pressure line from the pump. The second time they are replacing the pump and I assume the o ring. Not sure if I want to keep it or not.
buy the longest warrenty you can possibly get.their building them as cheap as possible nowdays, so your definately going to need the warrenty. ford is nearing YUGO quality levels.
A Ram 2500 with a Diesel is under 2000 pounds payload also. JB did a review of a Ram 2500 and it’s payload was 1980. But it wasn’t a long box like the Ford. And it was a Laramie so not as many options as a Limited Ram which would be closer to King Ranch options wise so payload would be lower.
Looks amazing this truck really much better from the old Ford but the only thing I hate and Looks so bad is the white letters on the tires Looks much better in the inside
Always check with other dealers , I got almost 10 grand off MSRP at my dealership. I’m extremely happy with my 3rd Ford in a row and I’m confident that 100000 miles from now I will remain very happy !!
I always appreciate the attention to detail in your reviews. Beautiful truck. Only thing I find about Ford is some things look like an after-thought. For example, GM & RAM have found a way to integrate the tow hitch into the rear bumper. Ford still has not, or decided not to. Not sure why.
You’ll have to put this to the same test as you did the Ram and Chev a couple weeks back. As far as long box goes I’d say the GM looks the best in a single wheel and Ram the worst. For a dually Ram looks the best though
I hope I can find a Ford close to a RAM or GM dealer so I can test them side by side 🤞. I agree, RAM needs to update the longbed, I think the bed side is short and makes it look naked for some reason 🤷♂️
Thanks, nice review. I ordered my 2022 King Ranch F250 June 3 , 2022 and was notified last week ( 11/6/22) it is finally built and awaiting shipping to the dealer. I ordered every option offered including the 12,000# winch. Can’t wait to get it, color is Rapid red with grey trim. Hopefully I’ll post a quick review the day I get it ! Again thanks!
I didn’t order the Tremor package, Straight KR . The winch was a $3,000 upgrade. I have a lot of timber in the property to move around so it will come in handy. I’ll post a detailed review of the winch since there aren’t many out there. I’ll be towing a 32 ft fifth wheel occasionally.
Winch status F250 KR Here’s the update on the F250 King Ranch , FULLY loaded. When I picked up the truck last week the winch was MISSING. I inquired about it with my sales person and he said it was back ordered and would be put on at the dealer…needless to say I was pissed off. So I said cancel the winch off the invoice… “Oh we can’t do that” was the reply. Of course I said yes you can and you will. I went to have coffee and came back an hour later… “ Sir, we found it in the parts department “. There was no way I was going to allow the service department monkeys tear apart the bumper on a brand new truck. I again refused it. I requested the GM and he turned out to be a very reasonable man and cut me a check for $3000. He turned a bad situation into a good one. In the mean time I went to get the truck and the idiot salesman had lost the keys ( only one set) they looked for them for hours with no luck. Again, the GM made things good and ordered two new sets of keys at no charge. So I don’t have a winch. I can’t wait until ford starts selling their vehicles online and gets rid of the sales people. They are what make buying a car an awful experience. You NEVER get a straight dependable answer from any of them. Elon Musk is on the right track… order directly from the manufacturer.
DeanoHexe, are you a time traveler? If you ordered in June of 2022, you must be. I ordered my F350 KR in November of 2021 but still have no info as to when it will be built. I'm suspecting it will be May of 2022 before I hear anything more about it. I did order the 7.3 liter gas engine so maybe that is the holdup (besides computer chips).
Having just sold a 2019 F250 I don't see a lot of changes for the interior other than the main screen in the center. I just picked up a new 2021 Ram 2500 and find the interior leaps ahead of the Fords. Don't get me wrong I still love the F250s but the ride and interior of the ram is second to none at this point.
Not being a 'gear head' can someone please tell me why you need to have a "Turbo" gauge on the dashboard? I have a 2013 F350 and I've never ONCE ever looked at it. I would much rather have a gauge that shows my battery voltage. I've always had issues with the batteries, but never even thought about the turbo.....thanks.
If you ever notice a drop in power, the first thing to check is the turbo gauge to see if you have any boost, plus it’s good to check to see if the truck is maintaining psi while towing
Nice looking truck JB. To bad you had to go to Florida to find a Ford dealer to let you do a video review. The price was pretty good also if the dealer didn’t mark it up like most are doing. I like the long bed in the Ford and GM HD trucks.
Thanks!!! Finally seeing the KR interior, other than the website, has convinced me the Lariat is a better deal. Ford really wants a ton of money for the Platinum and KR, for little creature comforts most people won't even miss.
So, if I could build my own truck it’d have the HO Cummins, Allison 10 speed and Ford Rear end… what do you think? Looks wise it’d have to have the GMC front end and interior a mix of all three…
Ain’t it the truth 😎, that’s why I don’t understand why people get so butt hurt when I give negative marks… If anything, it makes the manufactures fix their problems, we learned that from all the hate on the CP4 🤷♂️
Nice review. I’m shocked the King Ranch doesn’t have LED headlights! Really Ford? But anyways that’s still a nice truck. I like the seats. My cousin has a 2022 F350 Tremor with the big screen and I have mixed feelings about it. It’s definitely big. Rams are better looking in my opinion. I do not like the front end of the Fords at all. The side and the back look great but the front end is just terrible in my opinion. And that big goofy air dam makes it even worse.
I’m wondering if the KR had LED Headlights on earlier trucks but can’t remember. The dealer I was at was telling me when he dealer trades a Tremor, they are selling them to dealers over sticker 😱 INSANE!!! That’s why customers are paying crazy money for these trucks right now because the dealers are gouging each other. I think GMC has the best looking exterior out of Ford, Chevy, and RAM, thanks bro 👍🏾
He ordered his back in May. Got it 8 weeks later. They gave him X Plan pricing plus a $2000 rebate. So he got a lariat Tremor F350 for like 74 I think. Maybe 76. He could most certainly make money on it.
The halfton GM exteriors are the best looking but not the HDs those look unfinished, the Ford's exterior is top notch same for RAM HD but RAM HD needs the 5th gen body now cause its long in the tooth after the 1500 redesign. The GM refresh for 2023 HDs interior will be killing the truck game for sure so Ford may want to step it up a notch cause GMC and RAM will be the comp.

I've had two leaks in my power steering on my 21 f250. The first repair was an o ring on the high pressure line from the pump. The second time they are replacing the pump and I assume the o ring. Not sure if I want to keep it or not.
Yea that’s no fun, but the odds of it happening again are probably low 👍🏾
Just ordered a atlas blue 22 7.3 platinum tremor loaded in Melbourne if your interested in making a video was told should be here in may to June
Halogen headlights on a King Ranch, at 78k??? Come on , man (Ford)!
1100 option on the KR. Standard led on platinums. Lariats you can get led with black appearance package or the ultimate package
@@resharddurdley6987 Yet on the F-150, standard.
I like your down to earth reviews, and that you can only review what you have...but no normal person is interested in this level of truck.
buy the longest warrenty you can possibly get.their building them as cheap as possible nowdays, so your definately going to need the warrenty. ford is nearing YUGO quality levels.
"A Little Low"? 1766 lbs payload? 4 adults and a trip to Home Depot would overload this little guy..
Was really dissatisfied with this. The equivalent trim ram is almost 2 times that number
Because of diesel engine. 350 has better payload
My 21 1500 Ram is 1740, these 250 diesels are useless.
@@bobdennis4801 , ram 3500 srw has 3900 lbs payload.
How is the exhaust brake compared to Rams??? LOVE RAMS EXHAUST BRAKE!!! Great vis as always👍👍
The Fords exhaust brake is ok but RAM’s is still the leader 👍🏾
I traded a 14 Ram 3500 cummins for a 21 F350 power stroke. Ford's exhaust brake absolute sucks compared to Ram.
$79,000 for a pick up truck?? Are they nuts!!! Better get that price down by $20,000!!!
This is crazy.
Some dealers are marking it up $6k+…
@@JB_WhoWork Saw some
2021 Ram 3500 DRW marked up $10k here in CA 🥴
And people are buying them like they are going out of style 😵
Love your content, but it would be nice to see Ford trucks incorporated a little more. Chevy and dodge are getting most of the love lol.
Thanks, I will use this video to help me get into more dealers. Be sure to share on your social media too 👍🏾
Looks amazing this truck really much better from the old Ford but the only thing I hate and Looks so bad is the white letters on the tires Looks much better in the inside
Always check with other dealers , I got almost 10 grand off MSRP at my dealership. I’m extremely happy with my 3rd Ford in a row and I’m confident that 100000 miles from now I will remain very happy !!
Love your videos, great job! Thank you
Thank you 👍🏾
Great video! Enjoyed it!
Great job young man.
King Ranch trim is a Texas thing, that’s why it’s super rare everywhere else. 👍🏽
For whatever reason the dealer near me in Iowa sells a bunch of them. I always thought it was a Texas thing but apparently there are exceptions
I have the 2001 version. 125k miles. It’s still almost perfect except needs new leather. Going electric next.
Looking forward to getting my 2022 Tremor King Ranch as soon as it’s delivered in 2025.
🤣🤣🤣
GREAT VIDEO Sir, thanks so much for sharing, have You ever done a video on a 2022 FORD SUPER DUTY F350 PLATINUM?
Thanks! No but hopefully I can find one soon 👍🏾
Does the King Ranch come with the seats that lay flat (napping on the road)? Thx
Only the redesigned F-150 has that currently
I always appreciate the attention to detail in your reviews. Beautiful truck. Only thing I find about Ford is some things look like an after-thought. For example, GM & RAM have found a way to integrate the tow hitch into the rear bumper. Ford still has not, or decided not to. Not sure why.
Nice video, much appreciated.
You’ll have to put this to the same test as you did the Ram and Chev a couple weeks back. As far as long box goes I’d say the GM looks the best in a single wheel and Ram the worst. For a dually Ram looks the best though
Love the integrated rear fenders of the Ram dualies. I think when Ram gives the HD the new cab, it will look pretty sharp on the SRW.
That’s awesome, sounds like a nice truck and I’m assuming you got the Tremor pkg since you were able to get the winch?
I didn’t order the Tremor package, Straight KR . The winch was a $3,000 upgrade. I have a lot of timber in the property to move around so it will come in handy. I’ll post a detailed review of the winch since there aren’t many out there. I’ll be towing a 32 ft fifth wheel occasionally.
Nice! I’m looking forward to the review as well. I’m also wanting to get the winch.
Winch status F250 KR
Here’s the update on the F250 King Ranch , FULLY loaded.
GREAT JOB !!!
Thanks 👍🏾
Those running boards are great for getting in and out but terrible when it comes to keeping them clean. I replaced mine with AMP electric steps.
Don’t the 2022 King Ranches come with King Ranch on the tailgate?
You forgot to show them how to lock the differential on the 4x4 knob but great review. Ford is the best truck out there
Good point 👍🏾
Having just sold a 2019 F250 I don't see a lot of changes for the interior other than the main screen in the center. I just picked up a new 2021 Ram 2500 and find the interior leaps ahead of the Fords. Don't get me wrong I still love the F250s but the ride and interior of the ram is second to none at this point.
I agree 👍🏾
That’s crazy that it doesn’t come standard with led headlights!
Same truck will run about 100k in Canada. If you can find one!
You do a good job here !
Nice looking truck JB. To bad you had to go to Florida to find a Ford dealer to let you do a video review. The price was pretty good also if the dealer didn’t mark it up like most are doing. I like the long bed in the Ford and GM HD trucks.
Thanks Ric, they were super cool at the store, too bad they didn’t have any other inventory… thanks!
Thanks!!! Finally seeing the KR interior, other than the website, has convinced me the Lariat is a better deal. Ford really wants a ton of money for the Platinum and KR, for little creature comforts most people won't even miss.
Really nice Truck, but stupid prices good luck
Great vid as usual! 👍
Thanks 👍🏾
Nice review!
Other Than the larger screen. Looks about the same. Nice review!
Thanks 👍🏾
Great review video. Keep up the great work!👍🏼
I drive a 2020 Denali but am definitely open to an upscale Ford.
Really?!?!? I didn’t think you would jump ship, I love the Sierra for sure 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork 🤣🤣🤣 well I am loyal… but I wouldn’t mind an F-450 🥸
Understandable 🤣🤣🤣!
So, if I could build my own truck it’d have the HO Cummins, Allison 10 speed and Ford Rear end… what do you think? Looks wise it’d have to have the GMC front end and interior a mix of all three…
Ford F-650 had a Cummins/Allison back in the mid 2000’s, but your setup is a true Frankenstein 😅
Gorgeous rig
Definitely helpful! You da man💪
Thanks bro, you jumping ship 👀
@@JB_WhoWork HAHA IMHO any of the modern trucks will do what I need. We live in good times. You showed that time and again.
Ain’t it the truth 😎, that’s why I don’t understand why people get so butt hurt when I give negative marks… If anything, it makes the manufactures fix their problems, we learned that from all the hate on the CP4 🤷♂️
@@JB_WhoWork I love to joke around. But when people start acting like I’m making fun of their mama , Getting all butt hurt I’m out lol
😂
Those quick icons look like they got them from windows 98 media player
Can you review the new f150 5.0 and powerboost
Why are LED's not std on a 2022 King Ranch...
Great questions!
Wow, He made out, good for him 👍🏾
Nice Review and well narrated as well as explained.
Good Information
Nice…one love
I honestly only like ford's super duty. Sadly I'm a Ram guy. But I will admit a nice truck when I see one.
I’m a RAM guy too so I understand 👍🏾
@jb reviews
Damm man do you travel alot. Or you from fl.?.
Thats whwre im from. Lol.
Would off been nice to meet youand pick your brain a bitand you could use my camper to test drive..lol..
Jb. Thanks for the videos you do bro. I been subscribed for a while.
It has helped me alot on deciding on my next truck. Well im still 10 percent not sure. 😄😄😄
Lol small world, I was in FL for a weekend and I had a spare moment to go out and do a few videos. Appreciate the comment and if we decide to go back, I will post on my community page to setup some times to do reviews on viewers setups!
10% ain’t bad when you consider how complex this is lol 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork for sure.
Let me know if you ever this way. I have a friends at work with all kinds of different truck. From 250 diesel, 350 diesel dually .
Dodge, ford, chevrolet, gmc. 😆.
Take care bro.
See you in the next VIDEO. 😆. Keep it up. 💪.
Appreciate it bro 🤝
What is the name of the two tone accent colour?
It’s ridiculous that at the price point for a king ranch, they don’t come standard with LED headlights/fogs or power deployable steps
Should I get a 22 F-450 or wait for a 23?? 🤔🤔🤔
Enjoy the Chevy and order a 2023, hopefully they will redesign it for 23. I think you should go do a review on a 22 and ask that question to your viewers 👀
@@JB_WhoWork I think you're right on both! I'll have to find a 23 to review but I don't think that will be too hard. BTW I just hit 500 subs!!! Thank you so much for your help 🙏 😊
Will the store you purchased from allow you to? No problem bro, keep popping the videos out 👍🏾
@@JB_WhoWork I'm going to talk to that dealer. I need to go there anyway to talk to them about a Mach-E for my sister and the new Expedition for my best friend. Thanks! Yup going to get another video out in the next couple days!!!
