    Hello Sophie! I love your TH-cam channel so much. It's so beneficial and educational.
    I know that you currently do not own ducks, but I know that you have had them in the past and that you love them. I would love to see a video from you on duck care.
    Thank you for all that you do.

      Thank you so much Jackie! I did keep ducks before and I absolutely love them! I think it would be tricky to make a video without having them myself, but if TH-cam actually shows ours videos to more people, maybe we will earn enough that we can move somewhere where I can keep ducks again and make all the content for it 😂💙🦆

    You are so right about the importance of letting them work it out, within reason. I wasn't letting my older bird correct the newer baby so every time they were out together there was unfinished business and one chasing the other to attack. I figured out that if I just gave their scuffles 20 more seconds then the younger one usually understands and all is well. They have never hurt each other, it was mostly beak clashing and noise. I was a helicopter parent.

    • @BirdNerdSophie
      @BirdNerdSophie  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Exactly! I totally understand people’s reservations to it, but if they never communicate in this way with each other, they’ll never learn!

    Do you have a video on having birds of different beak sizes interacting? Or can you share your thoughts? For example I have a blue crown and a black capped conure and the blue crown’s beak is obviously much larger. It makes me nervous but I do worry the blue crown is lonely. I may just add to the flock one day but not in a position to do so currently.

    • @BirdNerdSophie
      @BirdNerdSophie  ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t got a video on that yet hit honestly I would be very cautious about any interactions between them as it would only take one accident for someone to get really hurt!

    Thanks alot Sophie I really needed this. I got my bird a partner 2 months ago but they fight so much so I feed them in their cage in different bowls. One is 7 months old and female is 3 months. I tried to make them forage togather but still they fight alot and they want preening from me at the same time 😅 and that's the most eruption of fights

    My girls are very weird about their relationship. Fen was a solo bird for 1y before I got Chi. They want to be on the same room, they flock call if separated, they are not jealous about me, I can have one on each shoulder at the same time, but if they get more than 6 inches close it's instant open beaks and squabbles 🥲
