Whistlers!! I got my first ever ace on #15 from the (short) tee pad you played. So you're aware for next time, there's a long tee on 15 with possibly the best views on the whole property. Always good memories camping, floating and playing disc here. Can't wait to make it back!
Love Whistlers Bend. If you ever have more time head east from there. HWY 138 is the “Highway of Waterfalls” with many beautiful hikes and waterfalls. It also leads to Crater Lake, which IMO is one of the most gorgeous places on earth.
I played here two days before you did. What an incredible course. So cool seeing a pro shred it, right after it ate my lunch. Love your love for PNW courses.
Hey Casey, great video yet again. In reference to the zoom, you should DEFINITELY do it if the hole allows it. It looks more cinematic and is more enjoyable as a viewer. Keep up the great videos!
Casey, love the video but you missed the Edge of the World. You played the lower tee pad on hole 15. I was hoping you would find the path up to the Edge of the World because on hole 14 you were talking about your skills at navigating courses. BTW, when I first played WB back in 2002 my buddies and I camped there on a disc golf spring break road trip and we completely missed going up the hill. When we got home we were telling everyone about the awesomeness of WB and a friend asked us our thoughts about Top of the World. We were like, wha?
AYYYYOO, my hometown course getting some love. I grew up in Glide OR which is about 15 minutes away on the east side of Whistlers Bend. Whistlers is right in-between Glide and Roseburg OR. Played that course almost every Sunday growing up. Couple years back they pushed it from an 18 to a 27 hole course. Don't get to play it as much as I want to now that I live farther north.
What a beautiful course! I really need to get to the west coast to play. And I'd say that was a pretty cool switch up for the camera angle. You could still see what you were doing for the most part and see the disc for a little longer. TH-cam doesn't help though because they limit you to 1080p so its hard to get a clear picture for things further away but you could see a good amount of the discs landing which was awesome.
One of the best courses BY FAR! As @cbernard72 mentioned, there is a long tee on #15 and from 14’s basket as you go back to cross the road, you want to head left after crossing and there is a short trail up to the long tee! Awesome sidearm hole! Look forward to having you back on the west coast next year!
Hole 15 has two Tee Pads. If you really have never played the coarse you’ll miss it every time but coming from 14 to the road way, you’ll see the short pad pretty easily. The long tee pad, which is called “Edge of the World”, you’ll see a trail if you look left standing from the road. You are up high, you have the whole river to your left side and a great view. You’ll have to check it out next time!
#7 at Whistler reminds me of #7 at Pebble Beach. You are exposed out on the point and can easily lose a disc over the cliff on three sides. The Top of the World shot is unreal too. I have the good luck that my in-laws live in Roseburg and can get there whenever we visit. If this place wasn't so far away from a big airport, it would definitely be a destination for the DGPT schedule. Might need a few holes redesigned for pro distances,
The top-of-the-world shot that comes to mind is Hole 18 at Diamond X in Billings, MT. The sign says 736' total distance with a 201' elevation drop. You are literally throwing off a cliff. If you are driving from the west coast to the Preserve and havent played that course yet, I would recommend for hole 18 and the scenery alone.
Total bummer!!! I have never made it up there in three trips because I’ve never had a guide lol, bust Sexton told me about it and I still missed it! That short pad is just so obvious I never thought about a second teepad, as I believe it’s the only hole on the course with two tee pads. As I was driving out of the park I saw the path that goes to the top so I slammed and the brakes to run up there to check it. Super pissed I missed it again 😅
@@AdamtheRed- this one is iconic and I’ve been firing off the top for 36 years. That course wasn’t there back then and don’t think you were either pup. Let’s agree to disagree. Cheers brother…
How this course isn't on the top 100 in the world bogle's my mind. I love this course. However, for all of you wanting to go, be warned this course is not for the meek. It is long and grueling. If you aren't a Casey White, bring a spotter and get that cardio up before you go. Whoa Casey, I see on your top course list there is no Glendoveer! I got a bone to pick with you and it will be picked at BSF while you are kindly signing my discs, I mean your discs, shoot, anyway...See you soon and good luck at BSF!
It is sooo good to see pros out here in the burg playing whistlers bend! You love to see it.

I like the camera angle you mentioned. That view on #12 basket is INSANE
Yes the extra zoom on your shots looks good.

Stoked you covered the low key best course ever!
what an absolutely stunning backdrop for disc golf that place is. got me wanting to plan a west coast trip lol.
I’ll be playing here this next weekend for my bachelor party with my good buddies
Hey Casey, great video yet again. In reference to the zoom, you should DEFINITELY do it if the hole allows it. It looks more cinematic and is more enjoyable as a viewer. Keep up the great videos!
The front 9 is incredible! All the holes along the river are so beautiful!
OMG. Super cool that you love Whistlers bend. One of my Favorite courses too, and right in my backyard. :)
Favorite course in the northwest.
You have now played my two favorite courses. Brooktrails and Whistlers Bend. EPIC!
Great video showcasing Whistler’s! The 9 holes in the middle are brutal but a must if you want to see the full beauty of the area.

Amazing scenery.. Thanks for sharing this.
Dude, that course looks great but that Treehouse hat is fire!
I love the new intro so much
Awesome DG Travel VLOG. Beautiful place.
Congratulations on another top 10 finish! Awesome !

Man, you're up here at all my favorite courses.
Good Luck at Beaver State, Casey!
I got one of those jerseys 2 weeks ago! And the black and white block gradient one u always wear. Very nice Casey!
Absolutely beautiful course. Definitely on my list. Thanks for sharing
hole 15 has another tee box that is elevated! I've missed that hole by the bathrooms before😂

Another fun video Casey! Beautiful course, particularly the views. I like the zoom off the tee
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hope you enjoyed the PNW! Next yearh, try to get out to Kayak Point Disc Golf Resort. Its about an hour north of Seattle. You wont regret it.

Sweet new intro. Nice job Coach Brod.
In the first 100 viewers huge!! Can’t wait to see you at the preserve
You gotta come play Stafford Lake in Novato, Ca best course in CA for sure
Play Ashe in west Jefferson nc .. need a North Carolina course in there somewhere
Roseburg is a special place!
Thats my home course right there💪💯
Roseburg. Fun course. And that hole, you know! You play Tom Pearce on way up I5?
I love the intro Casey, is that new?
Yes!
There’s a top of the world shot in Northern California that is 7 or 800 ft. I would like to see you and Simon ace run that!
LETS GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
The zoom on the basket is a good idea. Maybe a second camera showing the throw in split screen would make it work better
Best ace I’ve hit so far…Hole 17 aka Top of the World (Whistlers Bend edition). Star Boss forehand 🤩 first time I ever played the course
Unreal!!!!
GOT THE 2 ON 17!!!!!! First run Aviar BH LASER BEAM
I will 100% be making a trip down to play.

BROOKETRAILS!!!!
You'd like faylor lake in PA
I’ve played it!
the intro is how i hit my frist ace lol but thru it to the right shit was sick
Hope you are going to come play Motherload soon!!! AKA calibers IMHO better sibling!
Hey Casey what are the weights of your discs?
Bummer that you didn’t play the pro pad for 15. That’s got an insane view.
I agree

@@caseywhite4 at least you saw the view. Scott Withers told me about that spot cause it’s the best view in the park.
Nice
Hey Chief, how's the finger doin? Healing up nicely?
Not too bad as of late!
Utah Solitude hole 18. Top of the world shot?
Local Whistlers players know there’s a secret tee pad for hole 15 about 100 feet behind the other pad, and up on the hill more.
What putting putter do you use?
P-line P2
Some of these lines are insanely hard wow... 14:54
And all the holes are slightly uphill, 350 ish. One of the most fun and difficult courses around.
🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful course. Definitely a bucket list destination. DeLa is like 10 years older than Whistlers. Claiming original top of the world is dumb.
Nice intro
Casey, only ONE top of the world and it's hole 27 at Delavega! that is a beautiful hole though. Good luck the rest of the season
This top of the world is twice as tall, though. So, yeah. Sorry bro.

Glad ya made it out to my home course! Proud to say I've aced hole 7😬Threw it nice and low with an old star TL and skipped it in✌🧝🌳🥏❤
aww your dad calling! "just wanted to check that she made it okay" 🥲
