My Micro Machines kept me from going crazy as a kid whenever my mom would drag me with her to the hair salon.
Exactly - I always had a pocket full of them and atleast one city set! Used to take them everywhere!

Jazwares killing it lately
The van is reminding me of my vintage white van playset, I played with that almost every day. I'm happy kids today will have something similar.
My boy is 3 and got this for Christmas. He loves it.

Oh man, this is AWESOMELY EPIC!!! I still have mine from when I was a kid when they first came out. So when these are released I'll have to get my originals out of their display and have fun with them again.

I will be presenting my Grandson with a big set of vintage micro machines for his birthday next week!!! Just like the ones his Dad had!! Been buying them up and love ‘Em .. guess we will be buying the new ones too!!
I was the only kid in elementary who would bring these and play during recess. Kids made fun of me but now I bet they wish they has a piece of the originals!!
They were one of my most favorite toy lines as a young boy. I liked them more than Hot Wheels.

I just found some at Walmart yesterday! I was so happy! I bought everything they had because I want my son when he get a little older he can play with the toys I loved as a kid. Now I just need GI Joe to somehow make a comeback.

Man, I loved Micro Machines as a kid! I had the toolbox that turned in to a city with an orange bridge and an airport. Now my son is 4 years old, so I hope these will be released in Sweden so he can get some!
I loved my toolbox/city. These were such great toys. I am so happy they are coming back so I can share the experience with my kids.

Holy crap !! And I thought all the toy fair news had come and Gone with me hearing everything that they had to offer. This is amazingly badass I cannot wait for this to come onto store shelves, I absolutely loved Micro Machines when I was a kid

Awesome, I love these as a kid, as me, and my bro had the car was playset, and a little over 2 dozen of the cars, and this is perfect because now I have a great nephew, who just turned 1 year old, and I will able to share these with him when he's old enough. 👍

Would love to see a 'Toysplosion' on Micro machines!!! I always thought it was weird that they disappeared, I assumed it had something to do with Galoob disappearing, but would love the full 'Dan-tastic' story!

There's a certain chunkiness missing from these new micro machines. Still happy they're back but bring the chunk!

Hopefully someone on Shapeways will come up with adapters to connect these ramps to the Transformers Earthrise ramps.

I would love it if they also bring back the star trek/star wars/sci-fi shows lines of micros. Lots of opportunities for both kids and adults there

Dudes the out come will be same unless they can make these sets more exciting then there vintage comrades. Super dope military sets will help survive this remake also.

Did they give any price point information?
No not really but from going around on the internet I found out the super van is going to be like $50 I imagine the little blind bags are going to be like a dollar to $2 and the three and five packs are probably going to be between 10 and $5 that's not official I just believe that's probably the price they will because I remember Speedy's back in the day when I was younger they were around that price but you got more of them but the van being $50 is something I officially heard one of the people that runs the booth there said it will be $50 in a video I watched hope that is helpful to you glad to see there are so many fans of these I hope they stick around for a long time I've missed them

Micro Machines was so cool, and actually one of few "branded" toys that I owned as a kid. Micro Machines and LEGO, that was my parrents brought into my childhood 😁
No TMNT, no He-Man, no M.A.S.K, no Ghost busters, no Transformers, and the list goes on and on...
So much for saving any money anymore.
So, does Hasbro not own this brand anymore? Or does Hasbro have a connection to Jazwares?
Rob Pollock hasbro own it. They bought galloob in the late 90s. But have licenced it out to jazzwares

I did hear them say in a video I watch where someone was running the booth they are going to make boats and motorcycles I assume they will bring back the military ones eventually when they re-release them in 2003 there were a lot of military things so I assume they will bring them back I also heard in that video I watched they are going to release a hundred vehicles in the first line up so there are definitely some we have not seen here
I wish they would bring the Star Wars micro machines back. (I know they did in 2015 but those were pretty lame)

I still have my original Galoob micro machines and the detail is more accurate. The newer models look the cheap plastic knockoffs.

Give them time. This is just the first wave. The original first wave of MM was just basic vehicles and playsets.

I love micro machines, but these look like a drop in quality and design. I have not felt them, but they look like a cheaper plastic.
Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure that if they sold the boxy cardboard buildings seen in their display, it would be a success.
Toy cars are fun, but to have an actual city to play in, rocks and cardboard building would be more affordable that plastic playsets.

I'm sorry, but these are awful. Low detail, no appearance of licensed models. Plus I think it was a mistake to have originals in the display. Makes the new ones look even worse.
I’ve been wanting to get micro machines but they were expensive, I’m super happy they’re back.
