Hasbro have already pulled a Unicron on British GB fans by putting the Neutrona wand on Hasbro Pulse so we can't buy one, I'm not holding out too much hope for the Plasma Series either. I reckon we'll be flooded with whatever shelf-warms in America though and expect to like it or lump it as usual. 🙄

Now here in Europe finding certain pieces has become impossible, in addition to paying double for the base line of any series, the only way to find the pieces that are not distributed in Europe is eBay, also paying hundreds of euros for figures that in America can be found for $ 15. It's not right

Im guessing with the re-release of 'The Real Ghostbusters' line that market values for vintage items will be dropping in the future and 2020 parts being palmed off as original 1980's by rogue eBay sellers in the same way they can now do with: Transformers, He-Man, StarWars, TMNT. Guessing the next property for them to do is M.A.S.K.

There's no altruism in mind from these companies who go back to 80's molds for a cash grab. Playmates did the same thing with TMNT and it failed miserably. if these companies were truly creative then maybe they'd use an old card or a callback but give new sculpts or new figures under the same art direction to add value. But to simply go back to 30 year olds and make more is BS. Intellectual Property holders and property rights or not. Resist your addictions on that one, people! It's bad enough that manufacturers have turned the hobby into a boutique item market with the current pricing, let alone to re-release figures in a nostalgia cash-grab.
