Good to see you on the Ebike; they are great for us old folks. I am 75 years old and got an Ebike this year. I just put it away for the winter. I put 500 kilometres on this season. My bike came from a Canadian company called EBZ bikes. It came almost fully assembled and performs much like your Heybike. My bike tackled very long, steep hills with ease.
I assembled one of these a couple of weeks ago. Because of the late fall wet weather, I’ve only taken it for a 4 km test ride on smooth asphalt. There was some kind of rattle coming from the front. I stopped several times to see if I could find the source but nothing was obvious. I hope it’s not something in the suspension fork or battery compartment. Otherwise the ride was quite nice.
A good review Don. I have never ridden and Ebike and last summer took a long regular bike ride on a gravel trail, my first time on a bike in decades as well. Looked like you used your drone in follow-me mode for some of the clips.
Thanks, Dave! Apparently it is as they say: you never forget! My tailbone is still a bit tender though! Yes, I used the Hover Air X1 for quick and easy follow me shots. Just carried it in my pocket too!
Wow! Heybike made a smart move in selecting Don for this review. especially as he candidly admits to not being on any bike for many years. Solid indepth review. I don't need one right now -but if I did... 😊😊
Haha! Love the mini 4 pro! The weather has sucked for flying, so I haven't flown it too much. I used the Hover Air x1 for the bike chase scenes. Hope you watched to the VERY end!!!!
@@DonJoyce I watched to the end and that's the reason for my smart aleck comment about the M4P. I assumed that's the one that crashed into the leaves. LOL
It must have been a little bit like Christmas coming early. The bike looks pretty good - maybe it could do with a styling upgrade, but mechanically rather good. A long-term review will be very helpful to prospective purchasers - and the retail cost would be interesting. Oh - and from a safety point of view - please wear some hi-viz on the road - motorists are a little too careless around cyclists - and we're into the darker evenings earlier now.

Great to hear! Mine is put away for the winter too. Battery is drained to roughly half and removed from the bike.
Awesome Review don , i have had 5 ebikes over the years , they are changing the bicycle industry !! really hope you enjoy your bike bud
Thanks!
What a great eco-friendly way to get around! Love the review from a newbie perspective
Glad you enjoyed it!
I was waffling between a Tesway and Heybike, I think I have made my decision, thanks for the super review .... now I can go places with my MP3 🥰
Great to hear my review was helpful! I can't wait for the weather to improve so I can get mine out!

Yes, I love riding mine! Rattle...maybe a loose brake cable?

Cool ride.... temperature and concept! I think you were also using that Hover thingy, nicely done.
Thanks! Yes I used the Hover Air X1 several times...it's SO easy for this kind of selfie stuff. (That said, I hope you watched to the VERY end!!!)
@@DonJoyceyep... I didn't read the credits carefully... too fast😊

Thanks, Bob! It was a fun ride, but I'm looking forward to riding it in the warmer weather!
Great review Don! These bikes are very intriguing. Great on you for getting on this thing 😂. Thanks Brother!
Thanks, Doug! I'm looking forward to the warmer weather!
Looks like a great bike to be on. I don't like riding bicycles but this one looks like it would be fun to ride. Great review.
Well, I've been "off" bikes for a while too...but this was fun. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather though!!
Great review. Thanks
Thanks! A year later, I am still enjoying the bike!
I appreciate this review Don. I would like to buy one that looks like a Harley motor cycle. What's your thoughts? Will I need license and insurance 🤔
Just found this eBike that has roots from Harley Davidson = serial1 eBike
Check your provincial rules for requirements. In Ontario, for a Class 2 ebike like this one, there are no insurance requirements.
Great review, Don. Good thing the review didn't include a discussion on the M4P (hope it's OK). Thank you. //Tom

Thanks, Mike! It will be a lot more pleasurable to ride when warmer weather returns!
You’re just having way too much fun in retirement!!
Ha! Indeed. And I'm replying while on the Wolfe Island ferry near Kingston right now...a bit more fun!
Great if you charge it in a large grass field. A fire ev hazard in thr garage
Probably no more a hazard than all the other fun stuff I have in my garage.
That ending!! Ouch!
Lol! Fortunately, the Hover Air is tough as nails!!
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته مشاركة جميلة
Thank you.
Seriously, when it comes to assembly, I would pay more for the product just to have it arrived and DONE. UGH
I agree!
