Awesome set up. I work out of a Chevy Colorado with camper on the back. I used to work out of a large e150. But used half the space at the time. So I sold it for a gas saver. Couple years later. I don’t regret it. But their are times I wish I had a little more space. But I have 3 key machines that fit nicely. Maybe we Locksmith’s can send pics to Dr. Lock and he can make a video out of them. I have no interest in making a channel. But we all have made creative set ups that work for us
Thanks for sharing dr lock. Amazing set up. Nice to see how passionate you are about your job. I love the feeling of waking up each day not knowing what call im going to get. Im currently working out of my ute (canopy) still works ok for me, but am inspired to do something similar to you. Half the battle is being organised and set up which would not be a problem for you. Thanks again for sharing.
Thanks mate, thanks for the support,I have sub to you so show your van if you can , Its all about new ideas, everyday I find a new one, I cant believe I got 4 thumbs down in the first 20 min, I guess Im making them jealous, Im just trying to show some cool tricks and layouts, cant please every one, just trying to hare some ideas
I was told locksmiths in the UK dont change locks, they just replace them, fit a new lock, can you confirm this. A locksmith that came to Australia said they just install a new lock, rather then change the pins..I found this interesting, but don't know if its true or not. It's always interesting how other locksmiths operate around the world
Thanks for the tour Dr. Absolute top set up. There's two words that come to mind............"van envy". lol. Your van makes my 'ol Toyota look second rate. Cheers:-)
Love your videos and what you review :) van is done real nice and set out thoroughly so you can go to what you need to do and have no hassles so i understand how you set that out
Well M8 that is by far my dream van!! I don't have that kind of setup with both my van and shop together. Lol Top notch setup, couldn't try to suggest anything more to do and well to each their own. And the placement is the only thing I can think of that people would complain about. But that is just the stupid things... like this machine here and that one over there. Lmao Oh what a 1st world problem that would be. Hahaha Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks m8, the flow of the van is not as good as my last , it was the fan that made me put all the machines behind me , so the brass dose not get in the air, but agree flow could be better I have to spin around to cut a key ,, oh well , maybe on the next van. Its one of those things you plan it out put it all together, and hope it all works. That;s why I like to share, I get a lot of ideas from other locksmiths and hopeful share a few back
really I like it , even I am thinking to do it . Just help me with more information about your electric source and name & brand as well as your distribution board name and brand because idon't have any info for them . Thanks in advance
Thanks for sharing. It's always a challenge setting a van up, lots of pros and cons with everything. I'd like to buy a really big van like a Renault master, but then you have trouble with the height of it going under shopping centre carparks. I like your seats they look comfortable. Where did you get them from.
The seat covers are from ebay, the seat in the back is a milk crate with a seat attached, works well.. Best to get a van under 1.95cm high so you can go into carparks, It would be super hard if you have to park out on the street all the time
@@DrLockShop Yeah I agree, but I thought I could get around this problem with having a 2 wheel electric scooter onboard. Probably wouldn't get much work done though! 🛴😁
@@DrLockShop I meant to say your driver's seat. The uncomfortable driver's seat in my HiAce is increasingly making me more restless, specially in the worsening congested traffic. I've thought about splurging on a custom seat, but hesitated. Thought it would be better to get a new van with better seats and armrest, also thought about the single cab Ute with jack-off aluminium canopy. It be good if someone made a longer van with low roof.
Yep, I did , fitted one last week, I was in a rush, so did not do a video.. Have you thought about a job in the industry ? If you are good with part numbers, as it looks like you are "Mr Lighty " you should give it a try, Call LSC , they are looking for people , like you that have an eye for part numbers and products.. I relay think you should call them, get a job. People like you that know parts and part numbers are awesome when working for suppliers. I can call them and ask them to give you a go if you want. People with the ability to identify the difference are suited to this industry
I live in Victoria so it’s impossible for me to get a job in the industry, locks are just a obsession I have, you can find videos of me putting lights together, I’m sure you have another EL6062 on the shelf?
LSC is in VIC, yep I do , I will see what I can do this week . Maybe I should do a video on the wiring in this new van , dual battery, double towing relays , 12v / 115v / 240v , 200 amp battery , double sheath wires, the list goes on, alot of electrical work, I can tell you the amps she pulls if you want to get technical.. its all good fun
Those Silver & Red magnet blocks - Are they from eBay in australia? I've found one seller, but they're a bit costly per item. Did you find a direct source?
Hi, Cargo Height 1340 mm,Cargo Width 1620 mm,Cargo Length 2375 mm,about 1500 kg , and I think I would be at the top end of that, its heavy , buy drives well , lots of power, its a good platform , better then the VW caddy I had last time
Now thats a proper setup very nicely done 😎 is that a new iload you just bought as theres a new shape coming out this year well in the uk at some point not sure about over in australia thought you might of held out for that one 👍
I was driving last week and I saw the new shape,, I just missed out on the new shape by 6 months, did not know it was on the way,, I got a little disappointed, had a crazy thought maybe I can just upgrade the front end, but that be over doing it, oh well, stuck with it now.
Your setup is pretty brilliant! You have an amzing van sir! Thank you for sharing this.
Very nice, what ever you can do to make your life easier is a good thing.
Love the way you set up your van
Beautiful van. Really great setup
Thank you! 👍
Thanks for sharing the van overview! I'm not in the business but it was interesting to see how everything has its purpose.

Awesome layout. Do you have a video on what's in your lock re pinning service kit.
not yet , I will try and do one this week or next
awesome setup. I guess I am pretty spoiled being in a shop most of the time!
On hot and rainy days, you have it good, Sadly we dont have a shop , rent is too much, just not profitable for us, so Im stuck on the road
i HATE being in my shop. My wife runs it, but i'm much happier in my van.
Very nice brother, you are the man! :)

@@DrLockShop A van with gull-wing side doors would be good, easy quick access from outside and can also sit inside if the weather's bad.
It very nice
Can you do a Tour of the workshop as well?
No, need to do a spring clean first , so many projects sitting around, what did you think of the new van ?
