If you want a noticeable difference go with flowmaster super 10's. Deeper sound and more aggressive. If you have the extra cash and want to go the extra mile for somewhat performance, but better sound go with JBA long tube headers and the flowmaster super 10's. I run that on my 2017 r/t and the sound is perfect. It's all preference though and that's what I like
Alvin Patterson I agree, except for the new "digital" shifters Chrysler threw in the charger, challenger & jeep grand cherokee... trying to mimick Benz & BMW, nothing but problems, or so I've heard.
Nice sound. I'm more of a Flowmaster kinda guy but these are really nice as well. Sounds the same when your in the throttle but maybe a little more sound on startup and idoling with Flowmaster's. The black on black is awesome!
I have a charger R/T as well, only difference is I put flow master super 10s instead of the magna flow and also a AFE cold air intake. My tires chirp from first to second as well im guessing its from the 400 ft pounds or torque. These 5.7s are no slouch just wish the car wasnt so heavy. But Mopar or no car!
@@brandonwilliams9585 I have super 10s also with resonators deleted. I'm getting a little tired of the droning. I'm thinking I'm gonna put the resonators back on with the super 10s on. What do you think? I also get that chirp on my "Tank". They are heavy for sure!!!
@@RPProductions How is your droning? I have the same set up with super 10s but I'm thinking of putting the resonators back on. What do you think? Also do you get a burning smell or fumes from the muffler inside the car? I smell it now after the modification
I've heard some guys do a complete muffler delete then it sounds like firecrackers popping out from the muffler tip. That noise is so annoying I don't know how they can like that. Who are they trying to compete with, ricers? This charger sounds nice.
Just installed the diablo trinity tuner on my r/t. U need to do it. Your car w the 3.06 gears will destroy with it. It will not void ur warranty. U can adjust all kinds of stuff and its pretty simple and straight forward. I was skeptical at first like u said u are, but after I messed around w it im glad I did. Its so much more than just a normal programmer, u do and monitor everything. I ran a 4.9 0-60 with mine after 93 perf. tune and a afe cold air intake, having the 2.65 gears in my r/t plus. By the way I looked into it and the 2nd gen chargers have eighter 2.65 { base, plus, & r/t max} or 3.06 gears { special packages- blacktop, awd, road & track, Daytona packages ect. and all srt's} not 2.82..... 2.82 was in the 1st gen r/t's. Anyway, look into it, curious what urs could do
+Forrest McCullar Appreciate the comment man! I've looked into the Trinity's quite a bit before and have read mixed things so i'm glad it's working out for you! I plan on selling this car around June so I'll probably just leave it the way it is and probably start parting out the few aftermarket things I've done to it. Plan on either getting a Scat Pack or a 2016 SS Camaro.
Oh ok, I figured u may have looked into it, I was just giving my experience in case u were on the fence about getting one like I was. Id like to see updates and stuff w ur car as time goes on but if u sell it that's cool, only if u get the 16 scat pack tho. jk but Camaros are everywhere and I see too many kids driving them but their alright, ud miss the space trust me, been that route. How many miles u got on ur charger ? And what kinda mileage u get w those gears
I plan to make another update video on the charger within the next two weeks, I have a lot of video planned for the near future. I've never been a huge camaro fan but once I saw the brand new 2016's and their performance data I was in awe. The scat pack will be slightly slower, heavier, and less gas mileage but you're right I'd be giving up a lot of space. Currently my charger has 21k miles and I get about 15mpg city and 25hwy.
+RP Productions I dont know if you got one, but I got one for my 13, and its awesome so far. I JUST got a custom tune from HemiFeverTuning and I haven't tested it yet. But just the stock 93 octane tune from diablosport was awesome. Being able to increase shift firmness, throttle response, disable(actually disable!) traction control, etc... all very nice besides the fact that you gain power torque and mileage.
😍mg im sold!!!!! I was cheesing watching this video. I started last summer doing mods & wanted to change my exhaust but didn't know what to get or where to start & i was looking for the perfect sound. You car look very nice sound awesome not too much. I dont want people to hear me coming 2 blocks away! If you dont mind how much does this usually run? And did you change yours your self?
I recommend dual mode exhaust to kill drone. U can buy electronic exhaust such that valves stay closed at lower rpms. This is a must do if one has a catback and a cat delete which has bunch of drone
Well you're car is so Badass what you witnessed years ago is what I want to witness with my 2014 Black Top Edition I got it used in 2021 and those red badges wow but it's going to take money sweat and whole lot of hard work to get my ride like that
OutlawR/T I didn’t post the video but Plasti Dip is cheap and easy removal. Also protects the rims from weather. I’d look it up if you want your rims black. I did it to mine and honestly looks fine.
Just got a chrysler a cheap 220,00 mile 300 5.7 and am gonna try doing my own exhaust work on it and been trying to figure out what i wanna do exhaust wise and i think this is what ill do. Every other exhaust set up ive heard is loud but doesnt sound good tone wise. I love this exhaust tone its got a classic muscle car growl to it that i think will fit my 300 nicely.
+RP Productions Sorry, posted my question on your other video, but probably should have posted it here... What were the considerations (positives and negatives) of deleting the resonators? I'm leaning toward getting the same dual Magnaflow mufflers that you have for my Blacktop Edition, but I'm not sure what to do with the resonators. Thanks
+Ryan Hurren The way it sits I went ahead and removed the resonators to make it louder and also get rid of some extra weight in the back(not much but every pound helps). If you just went the route of the dual mufflers but keeping the resonators on it wouldn't be as loud/aggressive but it should still give you a nice sound. Honestly this setup in person isn't too loud but it sounds really nice from outside the car. Inside the car it sounds great as well but for me I get a little drone right at 64mph but that's all.
abdulaziz no bro go for flowmaster or xforce remote control system thats better than these once i have tried all these.. in sha Allah you’ll not waste your money
It’s not shocking that there isn’t a noise difference after adding a fancy named cold air intake , the stock one is already a cold air intake just with a more restrictive air filter , I’m not sure why people still believe the hype
+sean thurston Yep, this exhaust, CAI, and the 3.06 rear gears. This was also filmed back when I had the stock firestone tires which didn't have too much traction. I have since upgraded to Continental Extreme Contact DW tires and they will still chirp from time to time depending on the road surface.
Sweet ride manAre these the magnaflow xl turbo mufflers?I just ordered a pair of magnaflow turbo mufflers and am hesitant to delete my factory resonators. How loud do you think the would be if you did not delete your resonators?
+Langston Curry I feel like it would be pretty loud without the resonators if you're talking about the Magnaflow mufflers that are very long and skinny. I'm really not too sure what the best route would be. Either start loud and if you don't like it add the resonators back or start "quiet" and see if the resonators in place still give you the loud enough sound you're wanting.
Bro I'm 15 rn turning 16 in July, I want to get this car so bad! The one you have looks so good! This is the first video I have seen by you, what is your tint %?
Danielle2285 Too fast? Never too fast. We’re talking about 380 here not 600+ if you think that the R/T is too fast you haven’t driven in a fast car. They’re quick and no slouch but nothing a new driver can’t handle. If anything to be safer he should get the 06-10 Charger R/T’s with only 340HP and not as good shifting to get used to an okay horsepower car then trade it in for a newer R/T or scat pack
I’m 16 and I have a 5.7 R/T, don’t listen to these people if you’re a good driver the car is fine and definitely not too powerful for a new driver. It’s just the insurance is higher
So I have a challenger RT and I'm thinking about getting these exact magnaflow mufflers on it. I already have my resonators replaced with straight pipes like you, but my question is excluding the air intake that you have on there, does the magnaflow muffler sound louder/deeper than the stock mufflers? Great video btw!
Hey RP Productions, I just installed the same magnaflow mufflers (#11236) on my '14 R/T, but left the resonators on. It provides noticeably better sound, but I'm thinking of removing the resonators too. It seems like you're happy with yours, yea? And The only time you get some drone is around 64 mph? I also don't want any run-ins with the law. Have you experienced any such occurrences? Thanks!!
+Ryan Swan Once you remove the resonators it will give you a little drone in the 60-65mph range while in eco mode, other than that it's fine! It's really not loud enough to cause any trouble with the law and I never had any issues with them. I'd say go for it and if it's too loud or has to much drone for your liking you can always add back on some smaller resonators to get the best of both worlds!
Hey man on your video you say you are using part number 11236, but according to Magnaflow's website that part number doesnt fit a Dodge. Is that the correct Part #?
+RP Productions , quick question, i dont understand the exhaust system on the charger why is there a flange on one of the mufflers and not on the other? i have an 11 road and track and if i install the magna flow like urs and want to swap the stock back for passing the inspection, do they have to cut it and reweld it again? can u explain the process of how they installed it ??? NEED IT ASAP PLEASE
+Ahmed Mohammed You should still be able to pass inspection with this setup no problem! The only time you'll have to worry about that is if touch the catalytic converters up closer to the motor. But I believe they welded both of my mufflers in so taking them off would require sawing them off and reinstalling the others back on.
So you put. Muffler. In the place of the resonators let know because I'm going get my resonator deleted on my. 2016 charger my rear muffler already deleted i await your answer 😅
ahh ok, because i never saw anything like that in other videos. How do you like your trans in your new charger so far? In one video, you said it's perfect
Yep it's worlds ahead of the old 5 speed. The 8 speed is what the charger/challenger needed all along! The 5 speed is fine on power in the high parts of the RPM's but it takes a while to get it there. The 8 speed sits in that area the entire time at WOT shifting much quicker and makes it feel like you're going even faster than you are. I'd recommend going to test drive a new R/T and see how you like it!
Sounds like a racecar lol, I can't dig it. My '64 Impala SS with a 327 an magnaflow dual exhaust, lemme say, that steady rumble, damn, nothing sounds better
+Dino D I like it a lot! Fitment/installation was a breeze and definitely an increase in throttle response. HP and TQ differences are enough to pull on a stock 5.7l Charger so there is a difference although it's not massive-but it is noticeable. I had originally bought a K&N CAI but had to send it back because of fitment issues. Glad I gave Airraid a shot because it's been great!
+RP Productions thanks for the info. i've been looking at the airaid intake since the mopar intake is a lot more expensive. did you get the dry filter or the oiled one? also who makes your oil catch can?
+dgorrell7 About 390hp the way it sits. Yes the exhaust has less restriction on the air flowing out of the engine, resulting in a more "free flowing" exhaust system that will add a few extra HP.
I've got a 2008 V6 with a magna flow (equivalent to flowmaster s10) and added duel exhaust and it sounds nothing like this. What gives? In a couple of days I'm adding a Cat-Back system and performance headers
beejay27 I hate to break it to you, but it probably will never sound like this. Only because it’s a v6 but I’ve seen some sleeper v6 mustangs and dodges, so don’t let that discourage you. Keep modding my guy👍
hey RP i have a real quick question... i want to paint my charger emblem exactly like yours, that great looks great... just wanted to know if you used plasti dip or another spray paint, and how many coats did u use, and any gloss or is it flat.... would really appreciate the feedback, thank you.
+Paul Roucco I used 4 coats of red plastidip and 2-3 coats go glossifier. They have held up great and have been on the car for over 8 months but I plan to re-do them soon using "AutoDip" to see the differences.
Nope! I'm quite surprised it's stayed on perfectly. There's a ton of videos on YT of how to properly plastidip emblems and if you follow a good one of those for help you'll be fine. Make sure to give it plenty of time to dry before the emblems get wet.
I just deleted my resonators today on my 2015 R/T...Im getting a lot of humming and unwanted noise when I'm running through some of the gears and when active fuel management engages, does yours do the same? Thanks!
+Matt Menzer I will get the occasional humming around 63mph or if I sit right on 2200ish rpm for a long period of time. The magnaflow mufflers actually do a pretty decent job at getting rid of a lot of that drone even without resonators. Active fuel management has no effect on the sound for me, the exhaust sounds like stock at cruising speeds so I don't really notice it.
That seems to be the case with how my setup is. Aftermarket mufflers will also give you an entirely new exhaust note. Every loud exhaust will have SOME drone it's all just a personal preference/tolerance thing I suppose.
11-14 as well on a hemi. The newer body’s don’t look that great unless you are investing in a scat pack which I doubt. Scat pack is the only charger body style I actually like more but screw the cost even on used
just bought a 2012 dodge charger seda today. love it except one thing. dont hear much of the hemi low nice sound. what can i do to make it sound like a real mean car?
All you did was replace mufflers and took out resonators and got a new set of lines strate piped all the way back correct...what size mufflers are those by the way
I just bought a 2016 charger RT blackout edition. What exhaust options do I have? I did a muffler delete on my 2013 Ram sport and that was waaaaay too much drone.
+mje19D Well the options are endless but the most common/cheapest are muffler or resonator deletes. The 2010 5.7L police package dodge charger I just reviewed here on the channel had a muffler delete and there wasn't any drone. You can also go the route of buying a borla, corsa, magnaflow, or flowmaster exhaust set or just the mufflers like I did.
Word. I've had lots of aftermarket exhaust. I'm just looking for which sounds best on the Charger. I should of bought the Scat Pack! Anyways I don't need the speeding tickets lol. I can't believe how tame the new cars sound. Weak.
+Chris Meyer I bought my intake here: www.autoanything.com/air-intakes/airaid-intake-system It's the one without the tube. My local exhaust shop put the straight pipes in!
+RP Productions do you know if that comes with the fixtures to attach to the engine? Also did you have your car recalibrated after you put all your mods on?
+RP Productions Did you have to disconnect your iat sensor for the install for more room for your hands to install the part? if you disconnect the wire from the sensor does the negative battery cable need to be unhooked first? thanks
Yes I had to disconnect the iat sensor but no I did not unplug the negative battery cable. Make sure to plug the sensor back in before you start the car.
+RP Productions Whats your MPG like on a day when you drive conservatively? Im fighting my urge to trade my 2015 V6 Honda Accord. Im at roughly 300HP now, but its not a V8. The new Honda V6's are really quick, but it doesnt have the beef of a V8. What sucks is that because of the engine's physical configuration, its scaring away CompTech and Precision from making any Turbo or S/C kits for us. The most we can do is cat deletes and ECU flash to add maybe 40-50WHP total. Im worried about Honda killing the V6 and keeping the ricer sounding 4banger. Im praying for a V6 Turbo to keep up with you guys.
Conservative driving in the city will yeild me about 16mpg. The highway gets me anywhere between 22 and 28. It all depends on speed limits and everything. Typically if I leave my CC set between 80 and 85 I can get about 22 so anything slower than that will give better results. One cool thing is that while cruising at 50mph with the CC set I'll get 33mpg. Cylinder Deactivation helps a lot on these cars and it all depends on how much you can keep your foot out of it! The smiles per gallon have been worth it to me though. :)
It's all preference though and that's what I like
I’d recommend getting a catch can. It’s cheap and very useful to help Your tubes not get clocked with oil. Especially if you rev it and punch it often

I just installed the same magnaflow mufflers (#11236) on my '14 R/T, but left the resonators on.
+RP Productions,
Awesome! I think I'll try that.
Thanks for the info and help!
ok sorry for the dumb question. But in the engine bay is that just the plastic cover taken off?
I love this sound
Hey man on your video you say you are using part number 11236, but according to Magnaflow's website that part number doesnt fit a Dodge. Is that the correct Part #?
sick af dude !
It is the air filter increases the number of Power. Without the pipeline؟
How’d you get the chirp to second? Sport mode? Your car seems quicker than my ‘14 5.7 rt blacktop
So you put. Muffler. In the place of the resonators let know because I'm going get my resonator deleted on my. 2016 charger my rear muffler already deleted i await your answer 😅
The car that comes behind you at 4:55 say they want smoke!! 😂😂
Did you tune your gearbox? looks like, it's holding the clutch in the second gear and suddenly releases it with a second of tire spin.
+1GTASANANDREASCJ Nope no tunes! Just using sport mode and manually paddle shifting allows you to hold the gears for longer!
ahh ok, because i never saw anything like that in other videos.
My '64 Impala SS with a 327 an magnaflow dual exhaust, lemme say, that steady rumble, damn, nothing sounds better
commando8088 do you have a video?
there is talk about losing low end torque by taking out the resonators, did you notice this?
+Marshall Henry Nope, I know for sure on the top end there is more power, the rest feels the same as before.
***** Thanks man!
Should I get this or a challenger. This is better for winters isn’t it?
RP Productions, how do you like your airaid cold air intake? did it fit well during installation? and was there any power gain felt or mpg increase?
+Dino D I like it a lot! Fitment/installation was a breeze and definitely an increase in throttle response. HP and TQ differences are enough to pull on a stock 5.7l Charger so there is a difference although it's not massive-but it is noticeable.
I had originally bought a K&N CAI but had to send it back because of fitment issues. Glad I gave Airraid a shot because it's been great!
+RP Productions thanks for the info. i've been looking at the airaid intake since the mopar intake is a lot more expensive. did you get the dry filter or the oiled one? also who makes your oil catch can?
I got the oiled one because it collects more dust particles instead of throwing them into my intake. Billet Technology makes my catch can.
+RP Productions Is that the standard mounting bracket on your catch can?
Yep that's the one!
I noticed your engine didn't have the HEMI cover that covers the intake and heads.... What happened to it?
Oh my gosh. its black awesome and i love it.
Whats the hp on that now? better exhaust means more power usually right?
+dgorrell7 About 390hp the way it sits. Yes the exhaust has less restriction on the air flowing out of the engine, resulting in a more "free flowing" exhaust system that will add a few extra HP.
Is it peppy? i'm assuming 390hp is pretty good. i can only dream! lol
Nice setup
Sweet car dude !
Car guys, I just made an addition to my exhaust. I added a intake.....
Ahaha! I have the same car as him. The intake helped with throttle response...that's about it.
Now sell yours rims and tires and replace them with 275 in front and 315 on the back with a charger or challenger and you’ll be gripping like a god
Sounds nice. Will these mods fit on a 2007 dodge charger R/T?
I've got a 2008 V6 with a magna flow (equivalent to flowmaster s10) and added duel exhaust and it sounds nothing like this. What gives? In a couple of days I'm adding a Cat-Back system and performance headers
beejay27 I hate to break it to you, but it probably will never sound like this. Only because it’s a v6 but I’ve seen some sleeper v6 mustangs and dodges, so don’t let that discourage you. Keep modding my guy👍
He has a V8...
hey RP i have a real quick question... i want to paint my charger emblem exactly like yours, that great looks great... just wanted to know if you used plasti dip or another spray paint, and how many coats did u use, and any gloss or is it flat.... would really appreciate the feedback, thank you.
+Paul Roucco I used 4 coats of red plastidip and 2-3 coats go glossifier. They have held up great and have been on the car for over 8 months but I plan to re-do them soon using "AutoDip" to see the differences.
And it doesnt peel when u wash your car or does it
Nope! I'm quite surprised it's stayed on perfectly. There's a ton of videos on YT of how to properly plastidip emblems and if you follow a good one of those for help you'll be fine. Make sure to give it plenty of time to dry before the emblems get wet.
+RP Productions okay thanks for the help man really appreciate it, cant wait to do it!!
+RP Productions how much did this run you all together bro, including the cold air intake
OK, so its your opinion and experience that getting aftermarket mufflers will eliminate some of the drone noise I'm having?
That seems to be the case with how my setup is. Aftermarket mufflers will also give you an entirely new exhaust note. Every loud exhaust will have SOME drone it's all just a personal preference/tolerance thing I suppose.
good advice/info Thanks!
drone?
Idk if I want a 2011-2014 charger rt or a 2015-2017 charger rt.. I drove both the sxt chargers but haven't drove the hemis yet
Ayee DonOnTv which did you like from the SXT versions ? And well the 15-17 have the 8 speed for the hemi ,
I have a 2013 R/T and personally I prefer that body style more
Chris Keller definitely the 11-14 is the choice to go with
11-14 as well on a hemi. The newer body’s don’t look that great unless you are investing in a scat pack which I doubt. Scat pack is the only charger body style I actually like more but screw the cost even on used
Do you have the link to those magnaflow mufflers ?
Simple but nice I love it
Do electric cutouts. It costs a lot, but you'll love it.
just bought a 2012 dodge charger seda today. love it except one thing. dont hear much of the hemi low nice sound. what can i do to make it sound like a real mean car?
semiperive kolisi mid muffler delete cheapest wat
All you did was replace mufflers and took out resonators and got a new set of lines strate piped all the way back correct...what size mufflers are those by the way
Correct. Part number is 11236
would adding an x pipe make a difference gonna take mine in next week and was wondering....
To each its own but it can def be way better.
Weak.
I agree they should beef up the sound from the factory!
What is the model number of your Aire intake? Also where did you buy the straight pipes off the 4x9 oval?
+Chris Meyer I bought my intake here: www.autoanything.com/air-intakes/airaid-intake-system
It's the one without the tube. My local exhaust shop put the straight pipes in!
+RP Productions was your part #: 351-318?
350-210 - www.jegs.com/i/Airaid/028/350-210/10002/-1?parentProductId=878546
+RP Productions great thank you! I like your build. I'm trying a few of your mods out. Hope you enjoy the new scat pack!
+RP Productions do you know if that comes with the fixtures to attach to the engine?
Also did you have your car recalibrated after you put all your mods on?
Your gearbox sound aggresive. You have a wheel spin on the second gear. Have you done any modification into it?
Why did you decide to go with the Airraid?
Do you have engine linght on ?
I have the same car, how much did you pay for the air intake and the exhaust? Thanks.
How’s the drone after you removed the rear mufflers?
Which model Magnaflow is that ?
How do you turn the eco mode on these cars do they have any??
rp productions, when you installed your oil catch can did you have to remove the intake tube for clearance?
+Dino D Nope! If your tube looks like mine then you're fine! Screw the top of the catch can onto that bolt 3-4 rotations and then screw the bottom on.
What are those black tubes going to the engine bro?
You should trim that one hose to the catch can. It looks so awkward being so long Lol. Sounds nice, though!
+David Delgado Haha yeah shortly after this video was filmed I trimmed it up nicely and it looks much better. Thanks for the comment!
What are the best summer or all-season tires you recommend for this stock rim (235/55R18) ?
Can you not change the stock tips?
