Love the vintage C’mas ornaments, blue Pyrex dish and red Avon goblet. It’s so kind of you to mention we should be respectful of this home once owned by someone. Many thanks to you for doing that.
Thanks! I try to imagine how I would feel if the previous occupants were my own family members - or if it was my own childhood home that was being cleaned out. (Been there, done that!)
I hope so too! It's rather crumpled right now. I love that we have the album that really shows how spectacular it was. I love the little cap that goes with it as well.
Another great episode. I wish I was in Connecticut because I have my father's house that needs exactly that done but it is in the south. Love your bonded cats. Such beautiful family members.
So many families need a bit of help with clean outs. It's a lot to take on, especially if you're not used to doing it. Glad you enjoy the cats! They are a handful, but we love them to bits.
Well done, Chris and Eric! That was a lot of work! The wedding dress + accessories, and the children's clothing were really beautiful and looked like they were still in very good condition! I'm a cat Mom too, and I loved seeing Iris and Indie together! What beautiful cats they are! ♥♥ Have a great week ahead!
Great job on that clean out! Wow. What a lot of work. Sorry to hear about your leg that sounds really painful! Also love the cute kitties at the end ❤❤❤definitely needed that 😊
Interesting! We run A men's recovery home, non-profit, and lots of times we're called to clean out homes because we also own a large thrift store and everything from the clean outs is donated. We don't shop for our store, its strictly donations. We have 3 clean outs next week! We get lots of furniture, decor, a little of everything.. including antiques and vintage items. My job is to decide what will sale at the store & what needs to be discarded, and of course there's lots of things that go to the county landfill. We've found some really cool things along the way. Oh wow! Those concert/band tee's are amazing! And so popular now too. I love them, have quite a few myself😊 Ohhh goodness.. my mom had those JFK newspapers, wrapped in plastic and under her bed mattress! That's the year before I was born, my mom was actually pregnant with me. Its A very interesting job sometimes, the things you find! Thank you for sharing with us, very interesting!
That must be such interesting work! Do you mind if I ask the name of your thrift store and where it's located? If it's anywhere near me, I'd love to check it out!
Yes mam it can be very interesting lol.. we love it! We know God has called us here for this. We were born & raised in NC, all of our family is there. So for us to leave everything we've ever known & move somewhere we knew no one, it had to be God.. and it be successful. We're located in southeast Tennessee... A little town called 'Etowah'. Right now the store name is 'Dreamlife Thrift Store'.. which was the name of our recovery home under the ministry we were under. We've stepped out on our own and took over ownership so we'll also be changing the name of the store, and it'll include antiques. Not quite sure what its going to be, probably still use Dreamlife in the name tho.
@@tammyleviner3070 I wish I lived closer by so I could visit your store! Maybe someday I'll get to take a trip to Tennessee. It sounds like you're doing wonderful things for the community.
I live in your area because you go to the same thrift spots as I do, so it's fun to see . I have actually been to the "What Not Shop" on Arch St and found a beautiful 1940 coffee pot. I still use it and love it. I'm sure I will see you around at some point. Happy thrifting!!
The wedding veil is probably missing because in those days women used their wedding veils as a covering on baby carriages to protect baby from bugs as they strolled along the streets in the bygone days

Beautiful wedding dress...hopefully someone will take it. I wonder if the little girl dress was for a flower girl. 😊

Thank you! We had a lot of fun doing the cleanout. Right now, Iris and Indy are asleep at my feet. They're so cute together.
Clean outs are a lot of work. Great job. Kind of you to consider the families privacy. This process can be very personal and emotional.
Yes - I've been there myself, so it makes me very aware of the need for respect. Thank you so much for watching the video and leaving me a comment!

It was a lot of work, but so gratifying to get it cleaned out and ready for sale! I'm so glad you enjoyed my silly kitties!
Yes, I agree these were Baptism items for a male and female baby. I kept my children’s in a trunk. They were used with their children.
They are so delicate and special!

Thank you for watching!
Keep the vintage Christmas ornaments Chris.
I definitely will!
Это очень хорошее дело --- спасать достойные вещи от уничтожения и давать им вторую жизнь. Респект!

That's so nice to hear! If you ever see me, please stop and say hello!

Is that true? I've never heard that before! That's fascinating! Thanks for sharing!
It's for a baptism for a baby
It's really beautiful. I hope I can find a good home for it!
