I grew up with my grandmother’s ice tea and the recipe is very similar to yours. She made pitchers and pitchers for our family get togethers and there was never enough. Also there was also a jello mold sometimes made with the Tupperware form and she used several recipes depending on the season. Thank you for sharing, your videos always have a pleasant surprise included!

Your momentary dilemma with the Jello Mold, brought flashbacks of my childhood. I'm sorry, but it made me laugh at the memories of using those things. You actually were able to remove the center lid, without detrimental results... sometimes the lids could be a bit recalcitrant, which sadly resulted in Jello Salad with cool whip added, instead of lovely rings. In those days, good food was never wasted, just repurposed. We do our cornbread in cast iron already, absolutely the best! Your entire menu gave me deja vu. Your Split Pea soup with the actual ham bone in it looked delicious, gotta try that! Do keep the bunny out on your shelf, it's adorable for spring. Love your videos, they are so true to life! ...Closets I have known, oh my!

Great job with Easter dinner and decor, and the closet cleanout! I say we bring back jello salads!! (Not the gross ones, but the yummy fruit ones) My mom always made an apricot one with cream chesse it was so good. 🙂

I had one of those jello molds as a new wife and mother. It was the worst contraption ever. It leaked until it became solid, resulting in a mess and a mold that wasn't as tall as it should be. I could never get the inner cover off without ruining the mold. Errr! I ended up donating it and just wish i could see the frustration the next person went through with that thing. Lol. Im awful! But! I am glad to see yours turrned out perfectly!
That sounds so stressful! Fortunately I had better luck! (I also used cooking spray to coat the mold. It helped a lot).
