as ive been in the works of restoring my 03 back to its former glory and better, excited to see where it goes. an lmk if you wanna get rid of that genome :-)
why replace the HT40 security torx screws w/regular screws now that you have the correct bit? You bought the bit set, use it. Keep the security bit and worry about something else; at least that is what I would do.
where do you get the oem paint from? mine is also world rally blue but its in terrible condition so i also want to repaint mine. whats the typical cost? love from AZ
From a local paint supplier. I’d recommend looking for something like that in your area and bring them the color code on your vin plate. The cost varies a lot depending on what brand of paint you decide to go with. I’d also recommend practicing on some spare panels before. Even if you have to pick up a random hood for cheap from a junk yard.
2jz swapped wrx would be insane! It's been done i'm sure but I think it's a bit beyond my skills at this point. I'm most likely going to use the ej207 that came on the car as is has a built bottom end. Partially restoring the exterior to the best of my ability first.
Lol it’s been done… that’s what I’m doing, my engine bay is pretty much the same way car is all gutted out! I have the block for the 2jz and all the internals I have to take it to the machine shop in Sacramento. @@sleeper_motorsport

Haha, yeah me too. I'll figure it out eventually ...
It takes patience brotha. Can’t wait to see next episode
Yessir!
Dude THANK YOU for showing this, such useful information to see how a GD is stripped down
I'm glad it's helpful! Thanks for watching.
Man, I admire your effort. I like your four-legged assistant too! 👍

I did end up reusing the torx screws instead of replacing.

@sleeper_motorsport thank you 🙏
hopefully someone can make some 3d printed line brackets at some point or i'm gonna have to learn lol
That would be pretty great and I'm sure there would be a decent market for it.
What do you have planned for the GD? 2jz? 😏 do you have instagram?
