    Good video Travis and excellent advice. Noise is especially a problem if you want to shoot in the backyard

    I dont own the QB Chief but I have owned my QB-78 Co2 rifle in .22 cal for many years now.. and in my opinion it is still the best Co2 powered air rifle out there.
    I also have the Crosman 2240 and the Diana Chaser Co2 powered pellet pistols both in .22 cal but I converted them both from pistols into rifles and did full power mods on both, so now both have rifle stocks and long 18" barrels.. and I also have the legendary Crosman 1077 Co2 air rifle in .177 which was my very first Co2 powered pellet rifle.. and they are all very good Co2 powered air rifles.. but the QB-78 is still the King!
    I always thought about buying a QB Chief as my very first PCP air rifle especially since I love my QB-78 so much.. but realized that even though they are the cheapest PCP's on the market.. PCP rifles like the QB Chief and Diana Stormrider are really bottom of the barrel when it comes to PCP rifles today and what is available out there in ways of performance.. options.. accessories.. quality.. all compared to the low prices - so I decided to pay a little more.. and I got myself the Air Venturi Avenger in .22 cal for my first PCP- a super accurate regulated PCP that will not break the bank.. and I feel like the Air Venturi Avenger is the best low budget PCP on the market especially for new shooters new to PCP air rifles.. but.. if there was no Air Venturi Avenger on the market.. I would most likely be shooting a Beeman QB Chief right now!
    Who knows..? I still may get one just for the fun of it!

    Terry makes a solid product , Do not shoot bent skirted pellets they tend to clip the internals and may damage the baffels and mess up your muffler. Next time I order I will use your link Travis.

    good solution T. I did test this adaptor too and I found it was easily knocked out of alignment and would shift the POI of your shot. A much more reliable option (more expensive too) is to get a donnyFL adaptor. either 14mm or 15mm you have to measure your barrel. then get the BR 1/2x20 suppressor. this requires removing the front sight so there is that detractor too.

    Maybe the Crosman 3622 is a patriotic purchase, but if I could I would still go for this Chief.

    12 decibel change means that its a huge difference in sound. Decibels are logarithmic scale, so approximately ever 3dB is doubling in sound.
    How is sound on the chief compared to the 3622?

    • @ohshoot444
      @ohshoot444  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I’d say the chief is louder. It’s going about 100fps faster. I’ll have to check though.

    Sadly this is not an option in Kenada!

    *What I get from this video?*
    This won't fit a Chief II even with only the front sight 😢

    Great job Travis, and the Beeman is a great deal. Before Gamo brings out their NEW Vapor 10x later this year, it looks like the last of the 1977XS are being closed out and available at that same place for only 89. Maybe an April best buys under 200 video? LOL

      @@ohshoot444 The JTS Airacuda Max is really nice. With Crosman hollow points, I can hit a can at 100 yards. The groupings are extremely good at 50 yards. The magazines are great. My only real complaint is its weight; it's 8 pounds and with my scope, it's 9 pounds. Another complaint was with JTS customer service. I had the pin that pushes the pellet into the chamber bend, which screwed with the magazine. When I contacted JTS, they gave me a number to call or an email for some dude but no one ever responded to my emails. The customer service seems very poor. I ended up bending the pin back myself, and now it seems to be working fine. I would recommend the gun, but not for walk around squirrel hunting. I'm thinking about making a video on it.

      @@gboutdoors5198 Quote from Terry's vlog ;
      Barra 1100z and Beeman Chief 2 Tactical Conversions - This one is a little different from my usual style...
      [Shows picture okay]
      I came up with this to overcome a challenge I've had with airguns that have long protruding gauge stems. I haven't been able to come up with a good looking AR-style handguard for these airguns. I've had that problem on the JTS Airacuda MAX as well. It requires a lot of material to blend the gauge and the parts end up looking kind of hokey in my opinion. I wont even show you what I came up with for the MAX. If folks like this style and this is something that y'all want I'll press with this on the 1100z and Beeman Chief II then I'll go for the Airacuda MAX next. Let me know!
