This is very handy info. I'd rather spend to be safe than spend time in the hospital. 👍
You are going to miss out on those sponge baths from the male nurses!

Only going to add is you should have an anchor every 8 feet with one at each of the ends at 6 feet from the edge.
Great job! In fact, you can hide the nails under the ridge cap :)
Thank you for making this.
Depending on the roofing cement aka 'tar' product, the manufacturers say to use a specific amount and no more as too much between shingles will degrade the shingles due to the solvents used. If gasketed screws or nails are used, those same solvents will likely attack and degrade the neoprene gaskets. And if that wasn't enough doom and gloom for a seemingly simple application, the product itself may not be UV stable so if the product used is exposed to daylight I'd suggest making sure that it can withstand long-term UV exposure.
I concur.
Good stuff!
Thank you very much for sharing
ill be doing this soon on our steep section,i have 2 pitch hoppers i have the same mount i may cut in half, since we have ridge vents,im also using a ladder hook, and saftey harness
I also have ridge vents. Did you ever mount the anchor? How did it work out?
i think ill use some heavy coated screws on mine after locating rafters
if the tool falls why not put a small harness on the tool
It must be OSHA certified for tools or the safety police might arrest you.
Why aren't you using screws? Nails can always come off
Nails are stronger in shear stresses. Screws are more brittle and tend to snap with a shear load.
gas cleans the tar off tools
WD40 works even better and has fewer health and fire risks.
Can't see anything
Beware of instructional videos referring to roof shingles as "ceiling tiles."
And referring to roof rafters as roof "joists".
way too long and talky
Your comment is way to short and judgey 😒
@@the_pm_cm thin skin. fact is, way too long.
I bet you don’t tell your sidechicks that.
