    It’s the windows frames. Ranger plastic frames are cracked. Snowy river and new gen. We had 7 windows replaced. Van 190 out of 700+ vans

    I think the goatee suits you. Should have kept it.lol I always cut my hubby's hair with clippers. Then use that little trimmer to do his neck. Sometimes it's not even.lol

    Re your leak it would pay to have a look at the rear top black plastic “pod”. In similar vans with these “pods” it is a known issue of fine cracks in the plastic and letting water in underneath to van rear resulting in leaks in the bathroom area. They are often if van is post warranty replaced with custom made alloy aftermarket pods from a van repairer in SA. You could have a pool of water in this area under the “pod”. Mikes Mobile Van Repairs in Perth will know about this issue if it is the source. Good luck.

      Hey Denis & Deb, thanks so much for the advice, I was suspicious of those plastic pods so I have sealed all around the top to prevent water getting behind them. Fingers crossed 🤞 Thanks heaps for watching our journey 👍

    • @denisdebhudson6985
      @denisdebhudson6985 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is mainly fine cracks in the plastic pod letting water in rather than the seal around the pod.

    Hi Guys, we had issues with water entering our van (same model as yours) from each of the four upper clearance lights on the corners. Where the cable goes through the van wall was not sealed. The rear clearance lights are just attached to a moulding, that sits off the corner on each side. If you take the screws out and slide a knife under the panel to cut the silicon they are stuck on with, you will see that the cable for the clearance light goes through a hole in the van. We had water running down the cable and into the van. Once we sealed where the cable goes through, no more water :)
    We have had our van for two years now and love it!! Enjoy your travels. Cheers

      Hi Jeremy, oh another one with the same issues with Windsor... it isn't looking positive for the brand in providing water tight vans to customers. Thank you for your advice based on your experience, we will be sure to check there as well. Yes minus the water and a few other little things here and there we are loving the van and the lifestyle it brings. Thank you for watching and commenting 😁

    We had a leak issue and we’re told the culprit is often the driving lights up higher than the tail lights (can’t think of what they are called). Check that that area is all sealed. Water can enter and it will fins a channel somewhere to run along and eventually will find an exit. It can often exit well away from the entry point.

    • @LBWAdventures
      @LBWAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Nola, I was suspicious of those little lights so I have sealed everywhere up there I could see that water might get behind them, fingers crossed 🤞 Thanks for the advice and for following our journey 👍

      Pass lights, water got through mine as well and the edge seal. They thought no silicone was needed, most manufacturers employ idiots and pay them 10 bucks/hr, care factor of zero.

    That was absolutely hilarious 🤣, even funnier at the wrap up of the video you had grown the beard and moustache all back 🤣🤔 ps sorry about the leak in the roof that must be very frustrating 👍

      Thanks Daniel 🙌
      We had a blast filming it and it was fun to show the silly side of how we generally act. We didn't even notice that the beard was back at the end, nice pick up, and I will leave that to Chris to sort out from now on 🤣

    If your van has a timber frame I’d be speaking to Windsor as that much water in the walls can cause damage and mould which you don’t want mould

    • @LBWAdventures
      @LBWAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Richard, there is no timber in the van shell, the units are made from plywood which I have opened up and let dry. Thanks so much for your advice and for watching our vids 👍

  • @alanhoult3613
    @alanhoult3613 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi guys sorry to see you having so many problems, hope you are not using clear silicone as most tend to break down in the sun , just a suggestion as you have side and rear fascias it would probably pay to park your van with a slight slope to the front so water can get away and not pool. Ii t is a pity to see so many great van names being bought up by larger companies and the loss of these individual companies who had to compete. Did you silicon behind every screw behind your tv bracket? Have you negated your warranty by doing work yourself?🤔🤠

    • @LBWAdventures
      @LBWAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi alan, nice to hear from you again :) we remember you telling us not to use clear previously so we made sure we got white and black so fingers crossed that works. Yes we figured out in the last rain storm that parking on a slight angle did help a lot with the leak and keeping the water flowing the other way. We may have negated the warranty but we couldn’t keep running back to perth to have it fixed all the time so we will get it ship shape ourselves, but yes it is frustrating to spend a lot of money and find so many issues due to bad workmanship or cheap parts.

    Hi guys just wanted to ask when you ,first bought the caravan, why did you not ,take it to be repaired under warranty, or did manufacture give you ,ok to fix it 🤔

    • @LBWAdventures
      @LBWAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Bruce, bottom line it is our house, we had no where else to live while they took (due to covid) 6 weeks to do a simple repair. We are happy with our decision and will keep persisting while we continue to travel and enjoy the van. Thanks so much for following our journey. 👍
