my favorite part is looking back at the library of videos that I have and seeing how much i improved. i hope i can continue to make more video next year 😆

@KcHecKa Yep, I think I have improved too - kind of a double-edged sword because I sometimes look back on the early videos and think about how much they could be improved...but I think it's all part of the creative process. 😊

How do you "improve" in this game? My island is full-up, and I have used up all my custom patterns. I only have standees, flags, and umbrella faux boxes that I have not even tried doing that last trick yet. Standees were very convenient for adding my faux buildings that need a facade. I do not see myself doing a real designer island like other people who share theirs.

About the only "budgeting" required in this game, is "delayed gratification". Because there is no taxes to make people poor, no inflation, no utility bills, you can afford it all, but not right away. So what are your priorities? Teamwork, moving all of my 8 characters into fully-expanded mansions, but not so much getting the maximum storage space nor paying back Mr Nook, since he is so patient about that. I found the big money maker to be agriculture, but then as the need for income declines, I could replace much of my agriculture with my humongous and expensive castle. Now that I finally have HHP, that income also has dried up, having burned out with my vacation home builds, but then there is not much there to buy anyway. Just over a million poki. I decided to do childhood memory builds, all on the same flat plot of land, so no use of stuff like Spaceship Control Module nor a 50-inch TV, because we did not have stuff like that back then. More like TV with VCR or retro TV. I have only a few HHP island plots left, and once they are used up, I should probably go back and add roommates to my mostly-unused 2nd floors. Now I am about run out of childhood memories to build. My strongest human character has about 27 million bells, and nobody of my max 8 human characters has less than a few hundred thousand bells.
I kinda missed one of my original villagers, Faith, so while she is not welcome to move back to my island, because she will just have the same home decor, when I saw her at HHP, I thought, "Why not give her a vacation home, then she at least will always be there?" Well I haven't finished it yet, just gave her some of the musical instruments that she wanted, and tossed a Wood-block Clock onto the wall, that I remembered that she had, I will arrange her stuff later on. She has a Scooter outside, as I recall her talking about her old "biker" days. Closest thing in the game it seems, to a motorcycle. I am glad that I invited Henry back earlier on, because my little nephew remembers Henry the green frog. Just over half my villagers' homes have been remodeled by me, however I try to keep to their original theme of what they supposedly "like". I try to get them a few essentials such as a toilet or a sink, so that they do not have to go outside to the bathhouse every night. But something seems to always be left out, because the combo of a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom, just doesn't quite seem to fit into a mere 6x6 hut especially if I want to preserve their original theme. When my villagers get the itch to leave and explore the world, I usually just let them leave, so that I can open a vacancy to get another villager so as to see what that villager's home decor looks like. I have given Henry a half bath, just crammed into his decor, but his vacation home has 1 and a half bathrooms. I had invited Henry back again, because I needed a test as to whether they come with the same old decor again or not, and he has such a nice kitchen. When I remodel their homes, I tend to turn off their music, and to instead install a Pendulum clock or a Cuckoo Clock, so that when I want to take a nap, I can just leave my character in their house and hear the clock chime on the hour.
If I could somehow buy my villagers house upgrades, I would. Not like I can fit any more bridges or inclines onto my island. What else am I to do with all those bells? Buy another island? How many bells does it take to buy another island? Right now, it is still a mystery to me, where will I squeeze in my next faux building, if I can just get a 3rd Pyramid from those pirate birds? I see on some people's designer islands, that Pyramid makes a nice roof-cap. I had a place but got tired of waiting and used the Retro Transportation Stops along with more panels, to add a 2nd floor and rooftop. What sort of building has wood panels, one of the customization choices for the Simple Panel, and *no windows?* Would that be the island's Sauna building? Well at least I have no means of doing an interior for that faux building. Also no means to paint a name for the building onto its facade, like I did with my other faux buildings.

First of all Blep is looking great! I have enjoyed my journey on TH-cam. I will say that when I started I did it as an outlet also to share my love for ACNH. I just kinda kept adding from there. This has been the most enjoyable process. I have met you and so many other wonderful people. I think your advice is spot on do what you are comfortable with, Thanks for the video!

Your island looks beautiful. I was inspired to start a youtube channel from watching crossingmaniac and SimulationFluffy. I found that for audio, I use the voice recorder built in my phone, and I use an app to convert the W4a files to mp3 and edit on my phone. I'm really glad I found your channel through the Crossingmaniac channel. You always have great videos, Reb. You're very creative and always fun to watch.
