I'm a guy who decided to grow out my hair previous year but I didn't knew how to manage my curls.. Not knowing the combing hacks was the reason to lot of hairfall that I've literally not combed my hair since a week I guess.. But I will now.... This video was a life saver.. i get crazy knots, super fine knots, which i can't detangle apart from cutting it, so yes need a video on this too on how to prevent.

How to keep curls detangled? I didn't know u could do that?
Also I use curl up curl defining cream and gel along with loreal conditioner, shampoo but on wash day I find lot of hair fall is it because we don't comb hair till next wash day? Then i wet detangle on wash day?

Loreal is not cg friendly, so if you are using it ensure your shampoo have sulphates to wash the silicones off. And yeah that's right about the hairfall thing

Hey!! Since you already have flexy brush why you need another one. And if you really do you can try the tangle tamer one or just a normal wide tooth comb
@@KhushbooSinghvi my hair is thin density. so it's my observation curl keeper not give definitions/ volume to my hair.
Honestly if you are looking for volume I will suggest do not style your hair using a brush. Just use a plain wide tooth comb.
If definition is your priority yes you need to use curl keeper in a certain way as I explained above to get defined curls or I will say you can try tangle tamer brush.
Definition and volume both is normally not a choice with us curlies unless we have a very thick growth :) which is rare for the majority of us

Hi Khushboo, I used the XO curls comb to detangle and it was great. However, I did lose more hair than usual as I used to never detangle nicely for the fear of losing strands. It was the 1st time I detangled so patiently and the hair on the comb did scare me a little. Does detangling consistently reduce this breakage? Could you please assure me 😬

I am wondering what would you do earlier if you wouldn't detangle ? So while we detangle all the hair collected from the last wash day comes out together so feels lot. As everyday we loose around 100 hair strands and as curlies because we don't comb our hair everyday it all comes out together on the day we comb. So don't worry

I have few questions for you:
-- Even after deep conditioning, my curls get frizzy with a lot of tangles and I use a wooden wide tooth comb to detangle that ends with a heavy hairfall.. What do you suggest?
-- I love big clumps and long curls but, after my routine, they get very shorten for which I avoid scrunching but, I still end up with short curls and also the clumps get separated into very small frizzy curls. My hair has low porosity.. Which brush should I use?
-- Also, my routine is oiling with deep conditioning agents like curd, eggs, mayo etc then shampoo with sulphates then use diy flaxseed gel for styling then I detangle my hair afterwards use 2-3 drops of almond oil to break the gel cast.. What do you suggest here? What do I add/change in this routine?

You are doing a few things wrong. 1) you don't use any Conditioner after shampoo + DIYs you are using before shampoo so that will not help much. See my wash day routine video to understand the steps properly.
2) detangling should be done with conditioner in your hair. Not with gel.
3) please add a leave-in/cream to your routine

I don’t like to leave my hair open as I feel very uncomfortable on neck area. Any suggestions how to braid hair or would you suggest to leave open.

You can make a loose bun or a pony using a satin scrunchie or normal clutcher pins. Do as you are comfortable. If you don't like them open don't keep them open :)

I somehow never go to XO Curls comb. I feel it somehow misses my knots. So wide tooth comb always. And the twisting thing was something my mom ingrained in my head as I used to have super thick hair in my childhood and I used to shout like a banshee when someone detangled my hair. Since then, been following it. 🙈🙈 Also, I know Curlyin has the same brush as Manetain. Is there any quality difference between the two that you are aware of?
Oh.. may be you are not taking it deep enough. And the small bristles might not be touching your hair. That can be one reason. And yes totally agree with the second part 😊 and yeah about the brushes I have specified that in Part 1. Check that out anb you will know the difference :)
Can you give your opinion on the wet brush. It's cheaper than the flexi brush.

So I have a 2A curls and very thin hair so when I style with comb / brush it makes my hair even more. Thin and it becomes friz after a day !
Then don't use it :) just style with your hands. We need to do what works best for us

I don't want to use any market product for my skin and hair.
In my wash day routine I have styled using FSG, you can check that. I also have an entire video on FSG, there too I have shown the application. So check any of these

Hello.. ❤️ from Kerala.. I have been following cg journey for the past 2 months and is using curl up products except the gel, for which I use diy fsg. I usually don't do refresh. I have a DOUBT. Is it fine to use curl cream and gel only for styling or do I need to apply leave in too. Can u pls explain difference between leave in and cream.? I do DC once in a week with curl up and do Co wash also once in a week i. e 2 wash days in a week. However hair is really frizzy and dry mostly the second day. Do I have to apply leave in also along with cream and if so how leave in can be prepared and has it to be applied prior to cream.. TIA
What do you use for cowash ? She cowash doesn't mean washing hair twice a week. You can use only cream. That should be enough but incase you not feeling enough moisture in your hair you can try adding a leave-in first. For now you can start with using s little Conditioner as leave-in, followed by cream and gel

Hey !! All my product recommendations are in my Amazon storefront and I also have a TH-cam video of products under 500. It's more about the quantity you and how you use. You might want to be away from very heavy products like cantu curl cream but otherwise you need not worry much

Don't think can follow the below 5 min mark as I love to make detailed videos but will definitely work on not repeating the script. That hopefully will reduce some time. I know I have this habit of repeating things. Trying to work on it :)
