Andreea A I bet! I'm glad I got to see a playthrough of Sagrada and Roll Player here because I was trying to decide which to get. I like the Roll Player theme, but I think Sagrada will get to the table with a greater variety of people.
What a novel theme for a game. It seems to feel a little like roll player. The only other dice-drafting game I've seem previews of is Quarriors. It seems pretty interesting, but when I've looked for it, it was quite expensive.

Hi, I have a question for you. I‘m having trouble with one specific part of the solo game. The way you played this specific part actually contradicts to the way it is defined in the rules. It’s about the following: The rules say that the solo player has two turns per round. So far so good. But then it states that in each turn the player may draft OR use a tool OR pass. As opposed to the multiplayer game, where a player in each turn may draft AND/OR use a tool OR pass. Thus the way you played it (in round two) when you drafted, then used a tool and then drafted again, is against the rules. Now the question is if this is a lack of clarification in the rules or not. Maybe it’s a translation issue since I have a German version. I will check out the English version as well. UPDATE: The English version on the web actually says “and/or”. So this was an issue with the German version of the rules.
Better believe it! I have 2 videos on the channel! I personally like Roll Player better, more manipulation of dice and more ways to win. BUT this one works really well with the right people. My wife for instance will play this with me any day because of the theme and how it looks!
I’m having a problem where I finish my board before the 10 rounds are finished. Mostly around round 8. In my last round I did very well and scored 49 points. The opponent had 34 on the board with 8 rounds. My question is…the rules are clear that the game ends after the tenth round. That would mean that I would have to roll 4 dice twice for the remaining 2 rounds and just give all 8 dice straight to the opponent who would then win immediately even though I did exceptionally well. Shouldn’t the game just end when your board is full?
I am new to the game. Had my first play today. I noticed something that contradicts what you stated before, but I want to clear it up. At 1:55 you placed a yellow 3 on the bottom of the 2nd column as a 2nd move. My question is if you put first the blue 6 on top, shouldn't the next die be placed diagonal or adjacent to it? Please clarify so I can get a clearer idea of what the rules are. Thank you. Update, I notice this was done throughout the game. Its a significant change in the game if it's not allowed. I just want to know if I am playing correctly
This would make a great digital game. Score tracking, high scores, stats, records, cpu does it all for you. Playing the real game, it may help if you kept track of score on paper, after every round. Well, thats my plan!
Just checking that I'm playing it correctly. It's definitely not easy. Quick but not easy. And I believe your opponent scored 46 points, which doesn't really make a difference to the result, but it proves it's harder than it looks. Cheers 👍🏼
i was afraid i was the dumbest person in the world after loosing 4 times in a row, but after seeing various solo players in youtube i can see the problem is with the scoring in solo mode. too much points for the adversary, the is no way to score that high with meager public objectives. still a lot of fun
Aren't you supposed to have two personal colors face up and get points for whichever you score the most from? That might've actually won you the game ☺
after 35 plays and losing every time I started using 3 public objective cards instead of 2, I got the idea from board game geeks.com, so far I win about 2 out of 5 games, it's still challenging but more fun knowing you at least have a chance of winning
I did a follow-up playthrough (this one is Colin's), and made a point of featuring one of the fan variants from BGG, because YES, this solo mode is impossible and pretty terrible in my opinion :) - Mike

It's definitely a hard solo to beat but it feels really satisfying when you do win!

Yeah and I believe they did have an update on this from the rules I was using when the game first came out! Sorry for the confusion!
In the Italian version of the game there's the same translation issue.
Have you played rollplayer? compare/contrast the solo if you have please. I've own rollplayer, but am thinking I might enjoy this better

I played this with the original rules, you only have 1 personal objective. They changed that in the new rules.

Because there is a blue one next to that slot. You cannot place a dice of the same color OR number next to each other orthagonally.
Am I the only one who feels this solo play is impossible? Ive played 7 times and lost them all.
