Apple innovates barely anything and wants you to believe their iteration of it is groundbreaking. One of the many reasons why I will never go back to Apple. Definitely a bias in NA, whether you want to admit it or not.

Had apple products before, all swapped now for Galaxy watch and got $100 trade in for the headphones that you can't never keep clean. Played with the Galaxy Ultra watch at a T-Mobile store......that's one sick watch, can't wait to get mine and it comes with a FREE band.
How accurate is wearing both watches on the same wrist? I’m not familiar internals and how heart rate, body temperature is measured but does wrist positioning of watch impact it at all? Most other reviewers of wearables wear one on each wrist for comparison.

On the Samsung watch is new so the battery is getting condition. Before anyone comes at me I’m stating the obvious when you get a new product you have o let it cycle for few days in order to get the true performance of the battery.
Great video, but just a tip: if you're going to test both watches for accuracy, you should wear each of them on different hands rather than wearing both of them on the same hand, which will cause inaccurate readings.
I have 6 classic and Ultra 2. For daily life and using watch without phone the Apple Watch got me the longest. Even through a whole day. Features are a lot better and more refined so it doesn’t come lagging like the 6 classic

I would have liked to see a watch on each wrist. Having them stacked on the same wrist means one is placed higher than designed to wear (operate effectively) Features of the watch, ex. Blood oxygen, can be impacted by placement. The support website and setup for certain features indicate placement is important for accurate readings. I’d feel more confident in your results if that was accounted for.
People need to stop mentioning the rotating bezel. This a watch where the less moving parts the better. How hard is it to comprehend? The classic is for the rotating bezel as its always been 🤦🏾♂️ Great vid and the ring comparison is a must watch
I have a question. I have the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and currently, the Samsung Watch 6 Classic. I have already ordered my Samsung Watch Ultra. I wear both watches all of the time, and the Apple watch never logs as many steps as my Samsung. By the end of the day, that is usually thousands of steps. Do you know why this happens? Which one is the accurate one? Thank you for your help.
You can easily do the test yourself. Wear both watches on each wrist. Than go for a walk counting your steps. And during the walk keep looking at watches. Whichever numbers match is the accurate 1. But I do point out once it's synced with phone, the software does corrections as well for any GPS errors . I know it's complicated lol.

Can't comment abouts the watch, but I also switched to the S24U from the S22U when it first came out in February, and it is a really noticeable improvement in basically everything.
Terrible Vs test. - was the heart more accurate with so many extra sensors and hows was VS the apple watch - why wear both watches on the same wrist? - is it mich better than yhe watch 6, worth the upgrade? - how was the GPS and how quick did pick up the location compared to the apple watch. I waited till the end to see if you would actually bring it all together but nope. It just ended abruptly. Awful 🤦🏽♂️
Galaxy watch battery always gets much better in a few days. Glad it was mentioned in the video but would've been better if the battery wasn't compared on the first day of use. Plenty material in the vid without having to include it.

I am in the Samsung ecosystem but I recently just switched my work phone to an iPhone from Samsung so I could get the Apple Watch 9 for health tracking because the Samsung Watch 4 that I have just seemed horrible for sleep tracking. I LOVE the sleep tracking by the Ring. I have bad sleep habit going to bed at 2 am and had to get up around 7 to start working around 8. It tells me how my mental recovery, physical recovery would be like with the amount of sleep and the quality of sleep I had that night. now the first thing I do waking up is checking that sleep data on my phone haha. it's enlightening!

Would highly appreciate if able to confirm Heart Rate results between both watches during same work outs. I have the Samsung Galaxy Watch ultra and a Fitbit sense 2, and during weight lifting sessions, the Galaxy Watch ultra is always way higher than the sense 2, by 30 beats or so !!!! Which makes me wonder which of the 2 watches is the accurate one !
I feel like the Samsung Watch 7 ultra is like Gatorade. The target audience is "athletes, people who do sports and gym lovers" but man... the real users are regular dudes who are thirsty for new looks. Last time I did a push up was like a decade ago, LOL.
Sapphire coated display... Even better. Sapphire is not as impact resistant, but it is super hard to scratch (only diamond is harder). Putting Sapphire over hardened mineral glass is the best of both.

Just got my Samsung Watch 7 Ultra and WOW(!!!) does it look better in person. I purchased the titanium colour (lighter grey), and it makes the Apple Watch Ultra look cheap. I updated from the Watch 5 Pro, and it's brighter and larger. Maybe a little too large and heavier, but I'm hoping battery life is as good if better.
As someone like myself that is surrounded by fitness professionals none of them ever recommend a Samsung watch when it comes to monitoring their fitness data. I have the ultra myself, but I have all the fitness disabled along with neutering Bixby as I prefer to get 5 days of battery life just like with the watch5 pro when it was optimized. The ultra was only 229.99 so I have no issue stripping it and using it for my taste. The Ultra definitely has better performance than the watch5 pro, but still handicapped with Wear OS.
I waited for the part where she shows which watch had this many steps and this calories and this hearth rate and compare it and show the difference between the accuracy. I mean it would be nice to know if the catch nearly the same data/movement or if there are huge differences.

I actually like them both equally depending on which phon is your main phone - if you use an android phone I’d get the galaxy ultra, for an iPhone the Apple Watch! Where are the results of the tests or any kind of comparison of data? E.g. how do the two watches compare when tracking heart rate during the various activities? You did not show any comparison besides battery percentages and sleep duration metrics.
I watch a video where they compare the ultra 2 against galaxy ultra from gps to the heart sensor while using medical grade sensors to compare the two and the apple ultra 2 came on top. Also you need to compare the watches on different writ at the same location to compare both of them accurately.

There's the(apparently ) better health sensors, dual band GPS, a bit more RAM, better processor, double the storage... But I'm sticking with the 5 Pro for another generation personally and just getting a Galaxy Ring to wear with it. Honestly, if I was gonna upgrade I'd probably go for the regular 7. The Ultra is great if you're 1000m up a mountain or 80m below the surface of the ocean, but I never really find myself in those places lol and the Ultra just doesn't blend into any outfit/ situation the way my 5 Pro can. I've got the overpriced matching titanium band from samsung, and it actually doesn't look half bad with a suit... the Ultra can't be smart or professional looking.

The Apple Watch has the advantage of being used as a dive computer, traditionally more accurate sensors, and a lot more third party apps. The Samsung watch is playing catch up. I ordered one so ill see how it stacks up to my AWU 1.

Just got my Samsung Watch 7 Ultra and WOW(!!!) does it look better in person. I purchased the titanium colour (lighter grey), and it makes the Apple Watch Ultra look cheap. I updated from the Watch 5 Pro, and it's brighter and larger. Maybe a little too large and heavier, but I'm hoping battery life is as good if better.
As someone like myself that is surrounded by fitness professionals none of them ever recommend a Samsung watch when it comes to monitoring their fitness data. I have the ultra myself, but I have all the fitness disabled along with neutering Bixby as I prefer to get 5 days of battery life just like with the watch5 pro when it was optimized. The ultra was only 229.99 so I have no issue stripping it and using it for my taste. The Ultra definitely has better performance than the watch5 pro, but still handicapped with Wear OS.
I waited for the part where she shows which watch had this many steps and this calories and this hearth rate and compare it and show the difference between the accuracy. I mean it would be nice to know if the catch nearly the same data/movement or if there are huge differences.
Great video! Waiting for the comparison between Samsung Galaxy Ring and Oura Ring. I've been looking at the Ultrahuman Ring Air too-it offers more colors and sizes than the Samsung Galaxy Ring and Oura Ring. What are your thoughts?

Great content. As for the ultra name. Samsung has used the ultra name for a longer time than Apple. Like note 20 ultra.

I pre-ordered one and I might try the health stuff for the first few months, but most of the time I disable all that gimmicky stuff so I can get at least 5 days of battery life like with the watch5 pro.
Always dig your reviews so in the end which watch did you prefer? Like what do you use for your day to day tracking?
I actually like them both equally depending on which phon is your main phone - if you use an android phone I’d get the galaxy ultra, for an iPhone the Apple Watch! I like the operating system of the Apple Watch better, and the fitness tracking of the Samsung one better bc of the diversity of workout choices
Where are the results of the tests or any kind of comparison of data? E.g. how do the two watches compare when tracking heart rate during the various activities? You did not show any comparison besides battery percentages and sleep duration metrics.
Better be the battery same as my Galaxy Watch 5Pro it last about 3 days,, both has the same battery capacity, Great video!

I watch a video where they compare the ultra 2 against galaxy ultra from gps to the heart sensor while using medical grade sensors to compare the two and the apple ultra 2 came on top. Also you need to compare the watches on different writ at the same location to compare both of them accurately.
Hey Jacklyn amazing video dear you doing sports and showing us during your day is good idea to create a perfect day to day use of the watch. The apple watch I like the user experience better because it's more smooth scrolling and user friendly... I don't like stuttering that I have on 6 classic. Keep up the good work !! Fan of Belgium 🇧🇪
Having the 5 pro, is there any reason to upgrade ?
There's the(apparently ) better health sensors, dual band GPS, a bit more RAM, better processor, double the storage... But I'm sticking with the 5 Pro for another generation personally and just getting a Galaxy Ring to wear with it.
Honestly, if I was gonna upgrade I'd probably go for the regular 7. The Ultra is great if you're 1000m up a mountain or 80m below the surface of the ocean, but I never really find myself in those places lol and the Ultra just doesn't blend into any outfit/ situation the way my 5 Pro can. I've got the overpriced matching titanium band from samsung, and it actually doesn't look half bad with a suit... the Ultra can't be smart or professional looking.

@tompro53 orange is not exclusive to apple though neither is a square shape considering samsung did make a square watch in the past and this design looks more like the gear sport from years ago
@@tompro53 yeah the orange colour......the back of the watch being completely identical in every way, the button arrangement and style, the action button, the Titanium casing, the night mode on watch faces, the bands being the same style, the watch faces themselves, the new strap fastening system and the double pinch gestures etc etc etc ....but apart from that they look nothing alike

The Apple Watch has the advantage of being used as a dive computer, traditionally more accurate sensors, and a lot more third party apps. The Samsung watch is playing catch up. I ordered one so ill see how it stacks up to my AWU 1.

Loved seeing the review! I see that Ultrahuman Ring which has been on the market for a year is a better subscription free alternative given it is compatible with IOS and Android and is priced lower. Can you do a comparison of these with the Galaxy Ring?
