A lot of times, I see that the person disclosing the relationship treats that person better with smiles than the rest of their colleagues. It makes it obvious and could potentially start controversy when investigated! Prevent it, by being the same person throughout everyone you communicate with. Not just smiling at the person you like and giving mean looks to everyone else. That’s how mess starts and no one will know anything if you follow that communication advice I stated! I think it depends on the company and the type of work you do. For instance, if you directly work with each other or in the same department, that's tricky. But, if you work in completely different departments that don't interact with each other, I feel like that would be a lot less messy. At my work, we recently had some employees in the same department start dating and upper management had to separate them because they wouldn't leave each other alone, 2 grown ass adults doing PDA like it's high school. A married couple started working there recently, they had to put them on separate teams so they would stay focused at work, they started to bicker at each other about work tasks. But there's 2 couples who work in different areas and basically only see/speak to each other before/after work at the lockers and during break times and the company doesn't bother them at all, nor do they care that they are dating, as long as it doesn't interfere with their work.
Seen that sh*t happen, hear stories and have direct experience - even worse when they're unmarried - best way around it, is be with someone else outside : no happily ever after.

So noo I would never date my colleague
I was seeing a girl at work but we wanted different things and what was going on between us was supposed to be to be low key. She basically traded me for another coworker who was kind of a buddy. Neither can make eye contact with me at work. What do you think this means.
They were pillow talking about you, how guilty they feel, and also how much they could care less.. as long as their lust for each other remains, they will continue to prioritize their shared feelings and disregard or try to avoid dealing with yours

Do NOT date coworkers! I have seen that go bad too many times. As a former male nurse, I use to work with a hot female nurse that was married and banging multiple guys in the hospital on night shift. Two of them found out about each other and we had a big fight on the unit.
the problem is the type of people men or women that are dating, not everyone is as open as these two, and or communicate their boundaries clearly, that's why coworker relationships can be really messy.. and we live in an era where we automatically believe the woman is innocent even if she makes false claims that can negatively affect his job security
