    Just bought tiny undies... they were a bit pricey but I figured it would be worth it. To be honest I was really disappointed they don't have any padding at all, I knew they wouldn't have a lot but I expected they would have a little bit so that the fluid doesn't just stream right out of their underpants. Additionally, they are really small like really small. My babe is a small baby and 3 mo old and the 6 month undies were way too tight.
    So I ended up spending 60$ (two sets of three) for 6 pairs of doll undies essentially.
    I love the book, I love what you do for the community but please please improve this product.
    I believe you have a good nature and wonderful intentions.
    Please consider.

      Hey mama! So sorry to hear of your disappointment with your order.😔 First, if you were looking for absorbent undies, you should have ordered "tiny trainers", they have a fluffy cotton core in the middle. The "tiny undies" are as you described, just cotton underwear with no padding. If you ordered the trainers but received the undies, please send an email to mamas@tinyundies.com to get a replacement 👍❤️ Also, they can be returned if they are unwashed and unopened! 😃 Regarding the sizes, babies come in so many sizes it is really hard to size a product that fits every baby! If you decided to purchase from Tiny Undies again, please go through our size guide to ensure the proper fit tinyundies.com/en-ca/pages/size-guide

      I may have missed some details and certainly I can take some responsibility for that. I see now on the website that there's a difference.
      The sizing I still feel is unrealistic. I understand that baby s vary in size but my babe is on the smaller side and even when I look at the chart it says six months up to 16 lb however at 13lb these were so tight they were leaving marks on baby's legs. He has chicken legs, they're not plump at all.
      If they're only returnable if unopened, how would I possibly know they didn't work. I understand not wanting to take back so old undies but I would think that there would be a return policy for unhappy customers, even if it meant having to repackage and or retire that specific pair to another use ...sell "quickly tried on" instead of "gently used"? I'd buy a pair for cheaper that had been tried on by a previous customer. Just an opinion. If these are such a simple item, no padding no tags or seams just thin colored cotton... why are they 3xs the cost of training undies in the store? I bought a pair of 3 Hanes with padding at 2t size for 11$. Sure a single owned small business cant compare to a corporation b it were not talking a few bucks were talking 3 tomes the cost per undie. I do want to acknowledge that there were a diff between tiny trainers and undies. I just wish I'd realized that when ordering. I heard tiny undies on a video and just looked up that way directly. I didn't scroll through the site. I'll edit my comment, saying they were gimmicky was unfair. I do feel some aspects of this product should be addressed though.

    One more con at this age group which i am facing right now is that a one year keeps moving around while sitting on the potty and not interested in peeing in it anymore. And does throw tantrums and resists potty even when we know she wants to go. Is driving me nuts!

    What does it mean to “finish” EC? I have a 2 year old who we have been doing EC with since she was 2.5mo. She still pisses for pees about once a day but I fee like it’s just because she is distracted.

      Some kids have accidents for longer than others, but in general if you are OK with that and the accidents are not increasing over time, then likely she'll grow out of it. Just keep being responsive and encouraging pees going in the potty! 🙌

      @@AndreaOlson wonderful! I’m totally okay with it. We only do undies finally. No more trainers. I should have probably taken them away a while ago. She has some days that are spot on and some accidents. I don’t make a big deal out of them though. As long as all the poops go in the potty I’m a happy mama!

    Hi! I'm practicing EC with my 5mo. I have your book on EC. Is awesome, I probably wouldn't be able to do EC without it. I would like to know the original source of Maria Montessori that states 12-18mo as the common time for the sensitive period for toilet learning, as I find a lot of conflicting info in the net and some people tells me it's not true... Thank you.

      Here are some good links to the Montessori way of potty learning. An article on Toilet Training vs Toilet Learning (montessoriguide.org/toilet-training-versus-toilet-learning/) and a video on Toilet Learning (vimeo.com/121200116).

      Hi Andrea, EC is for babies birth to 18 months old. If you want to follow a potty training method, Tiny Potty Training can be used starting at 15-16 months old. Choose the method that fits you and your child best.

    I had been doing part time elimination communication with my daughter from about four weeks on, but once she started crawling and becoming mobile I started having a really difficult time, because she wouldn’t want to sit still on the potty. So recently we have taken a break. She is 14 months now And walking, and whenever I try to bring her to the potty she seems pretty stubborn and refuses to sit down. Not really sure what to do, so any help would be great!

    Hi. Can you please do more videos about "the stealth pooper". I have a 9 month old who is perfectly happy with pooping in his diaper and with having poop on him. I have been using the EC method since he was 2 months old. We have both been great at potty training......I'd say he's 50/50. His daycare provider is great at helping him use the potty too. We have only been successful with peeing not pooping. Please help me? He smiles sooooo much.........it's hard to get him to communicate the need to poop before he goes as well after he has gone. Plz....... plz help?

    • @AndreaOlson
      @AndreaOlson  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, one of my four was a stealth pooper. Happy to do a vid on that soon, dear! Thanks for the question! But in the meanwhile, focus on those successes - getting pees in the potty is awesome. Pay attention to timing, and a well-placed poop-encourager (like pureed prunes) can definitely help to know when it's time! xx Andrea PS - his timing will also change soon!!! and his preference for cleanliness!)

    I’m just now finding out about EC and my child is 28 months. I’d LOVE to give this a try.
    Also, I have a step daughter who is going to be 11 yo. Do you have any advice for bedtime wetting?

    • @AndreaOlson
      @AndreaOlson  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So I'm afraid the boat for EC has already sailed, because its not developmentally appropriate for a child of that age - however you can and should definitely jump on potty training asap!!! I even wrote a book that would be perfect and is EC-friendly 😊 tinyurl.com/54kyftjk
      Night wetting at 11yrs. should definitely be discussed with your doctor! It may be caused by constipation, food intolerances, life stress or other less visible reasons too! Chiropractic and Acupuncture can work wonders 👍

    I have been reading lots of tips for potty training. I have a 15 month old daughter. I started bring her to the potty and let her do her business when she was 13 mos old. It was a hard but it's been getting harder because she would scream whenever i sit her down the potty. There was even I time that I knew she's gonna pee but her urine ended up scattered on the bathroom floor because she was urinating while trying to get away from the potty. What should I do?

    • @AndreaOlson
      @AndreaOlson  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Andrea! Resistance at her age is usually a sign of wanting independence. Work on teaching her skills, any part of the potty routine. You can also try switching from a tiny potty to a seat reducer.

    Hi my son just turned 17 months old and I have been trying to do ec for about 2 1/2 days now. I have had him going diaper free during the daytime . and when I catch him starting to dribble pee I walk him into the bathroom and tell him pee goes in his potty and he will just bascily dribble pee into the potty stop and stand up again and few min dribble again and stop till I set him on the potty. We will do this a couple times before he actually pees a fair amount in the potty. & I'm started to worry that maybe he dosnt know when he is peeing or not. But I also think if he can dribble pee and stop he does have control over it. He doesn't really have any signals that he shows if he is wearing pants or a diaper almost like starting to dribble is his signal . do you have any advice that you could givr me. And reassurance that I'm doing the right things would be appreciated lol

      Hi Grace! It will help to have the potty in your main living space so you don't have far to go. Right now he doesn't really understand you want pee in the potty, it will come with time. He probably doesn't have a lot of awareness currently. If you continue to struggle I'd actually consider potty training with my Tiny Potty Training book. He's the perfect age for it and it will help build that awareness.
