    A lot of blabbing with very little info. The dark sunglasses incognito look doesn't play well when people are looking for an honest opinion. Just saying…

    There’s also a new one that came out. Envy Neighborhood Vehicle, I don’t know much about them. If someone does I’d like to know more. I live in a subdivision and I figured I could use an electric golf cart to get around and not have to worry about putting gas in it.

    I have had a club car and a Yamaha. I think the biggest deal for me is who is near me that can service my cart if I have an issue. Secondly I like ease of maintenance, I had a 48 volt club car for years, but now I have a Yamaha because my engine has no oil filter, just drain it, re fill it, wash out the air filter and go. The gas engine carts is what I like because their easy. Takes 3 minutes to change spark plug, 5 minutes to suck oil out and change, 3 minutes to change differential and easy to swap a drive belt as well.

      All I do is plug in my golf cart and walk away. No maintenance needed. I have a lithium pack.😀

    Looking forward to this series. I picked up the navitas controller from my E-Z-GO PDF system fantastic having a little bit of a hard time setting it up but I believe I need a new motor for this. Any suggestions on a motor?

      Josh it all depends on what you are after. More torque: more speed?

    • @joshadolphsen4767
      @joshadolphsen4767 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Cobrardo it has a 6" lift and 33" tires

    • @GolfCartsModified
      @GolfCartsModified  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are on 33” tires you need to swap to a AC motor and controller setup.

    Why is it that Europe hasn't adopted Golf Carts yet when they love small electric city cars, mopeds, scooters, etc and have a much more road network for it? Is it just crash safety?

    Nah lithium batteries are by far the easiest, it's not even a close call. I can afford it. Increase your amp hours if you need longer range, no need for the massive aggravation or cost for transporting for simple maintenance, no gas to haul around, no smell or toxic fumes, no watering of the batteries, much more reliable motor and so on. My cart can easily go 50+ miles and 35+ MPH.
