That’s completely understandable. I would recommend starting with the CeraVe. I say that because I’ve seen multiple dermatologist suggest that brand. If I were you, I’d take a small amount and apply it to a small area of the face. See if you have any sort of reaction before applying to the entire face.
I do think this one is good. That being said, it doesn’t contain Hyaluronic Acid. If you have extra dry skin, I would look for a product with Hyaluronic Acid.
I don’t feel qualified to provide you with a definite answer to this. I would say that it would work for sensitive skin, being that the skin of my face does tend to get irritated easily. As far as bleaching, after Googling some ingredients which could be used for this, this product doesn’t contain acids (Glycolic,etc.), Retinoids, Vitamin C, or Hydroquinone. I would never want you to use something that could be detrimental to your skin, so I encourage you to research the ingredients of this product to see if you think they will work for you. INCI Decoder is a wonderful website you can use to break down each ingredient. incidecoder.com/decode-inci. If you do decide to try this product, please come back and share your experience.
I’ve never experienced any sort of burning or tingling sensation with this product. That’s actually why I like it. I get nervous with products that do such as retinols & AHAs. It could be that your skin is sensitive or maybe you’re having some sort of reaction to a certain ingredient. You could try applying a small amount to your wrist rather than your face. See if you have the same reaction. If you experience this every time you apply, I would discontinue using it.
I’m not a medical professional & don’t want you to have anything bad happen to your skin. If it didn’t bother the skin on your wrist, it sounds like maybe it has more to do with the skin on your face being more sensitive rather than a reaction. If this continues to occur, I would quit using the product.
I’d say both are important. Retinol is more for fine lines on the surface of the skin. Collagen is for the fullness under the skin. Retinol helps build the collagen.
This is on the packaging itself? Mine does not contain retinol. If you’re not interested in a product containing retinol & it lists that as one of the ingredients on the packaging , I would encourage you to consider returning the product.

According to the INCI Decoder site, this product contains Anthemis, Nobilis Flower Extract which can be used for perfuming. While I don’t have oily skin, I think this would work for you. It’s not overly moisturizing and absorbs quickly rather than sitting on the skin. If you decide to try this product, please let me know what you think of it.
I picked up the Advanced Clinicals Retinol Cream at Macy's Backstage here in Michigan. I wanted the Collagen one as well. They have it at our local Walmart so I will get it there. Thank you. I almost paid over 20 bucks online. I got the retinol for 5.99 and Walmart has the Collagen for 5.83!

I think this would help to keep the skin moisturized. However, I don’t see it tightening the skin or keeping it from losing elasticity from weight loss.

This also has mineral oil in it if anybody has sensitive or acne prone skin. May not affect some but it’s the second ingredient

I did notice the same thing. Ot burns for a few min but goes away quickly. Nothing to bad but it does that to me every time.

This is a great question. I checked the packaging I have and there isn’t an expiration date or how many months it’s good after opening.
