@@RealityRogue Because this strategy is extremely niche, as Spooky himself says in the video, the gens fly. In the time you are waiting for your victim, the victim shows up and you hook them, the other 3 survivors are doing 1,2 or 3 gens. And the victim may never show up. Or the victim knows what you're doing and just runs from every hallucination.
Its very fun, but nowhere near a viable strategy to win.
I got a good chuckle out of Spooky saying he was going to stare at the wall like an idiot, but what really floored me was the Doctor hallucination on the goddamn roof. And I can imagine the post-game chat from the survivors must have been wild.
Chat is just pure chaos. During the Halloween event I played Jumpscare Myers, everybody had a good time, post-game chat was super chill, made a friend. The other day in a compeltely normal survivor game a twitch streamer posted a twitch username in the lobby chat, I asked who's that, and he proceeded to roast me saying my dad must have hit me really hard when I was little, in the postgame chat this person started shittalking in german, killer was saying I don't understand you, then this killer started raging against all of us for "gen rushing" and the last thing he said was "f u all and die from cancer".
You never know what you're gonna get.

@@emma6648 1)That grammar was mostly acceptable in certain dialects of English. If you speak to any linguist, they will tell you that different dialects of a language can have different grammatical structure.

One of the best games I’ve ever had I was playing as the Doctor. Best match I was the Executioner and killed everyone. That was a well spent Ivory Mori token.

The Doctor genuinely scares the shit out of me. Every other killer loses their fear factor quick, but the moment I hear the Doctor laugh I shit my pants
For me it gets balanced out by his cute little whine when he gets stunned. Absolutely the cutest little whine debated on buying him just for that
Huntress is pretty scary for me. It’s hard to tell how far she is and you could always get sniped my a hatchet. Very scary!

now the biggest jump scares are a Nemmy zombie around a corner mid chase. Scares me every time
16:35 is literally just a horror movie last survivor escape moment. Panicked opening up the door to freedom she thinks about going back for her friend, but thinks better of it and runs. As she disappears into the distance the Doctor creepily walks out from around the corner revealing he had in fact been waiting to see if she’d try to be a hero and watches as she escapes.
See...now *THIS* is the kind of fun that DbD needs more of! I get so bored of the same old looping, pallet-play and W-holding strats. I'm going to have to try this build immediately!

This looks like so much fun. The doctor’s been lauded for having some of the best perks and being a really powerful killer when played right, but I love Doctor because of his incredible meme potential.
lauded is a bit much. the overcharge buff made it good, but before that his three perks were pretty niche or straight trash

Eyy, I'm a switch player too! :D Well, Switch Lite, but yeah, I understand how you feel. lol Can't communicate with anyone when playing on Switch, so it's a lot more difficult. I tend to stick to killer, because I find it harder to play survivor and I suck at looping. At least with killer, I have less pressure to be a good teammate and can go full morbius. lol Plus, I'm extra jumpy when I play survivor, I have too many mini heart attacks and get spooked easily. Congrats on making it into the vid! :D You're living the dream.

I super appreciate this fun/play type content. I don’t watch a lot of killer content, but this type of having a good time over “win at all costs” is the kind of killer content I like to watch.
running insidious on doctor is actually an incredibly big brain idea i wish i thought of first, to me the perk has always seemed useless cause its only when youre standing still, but with the doctors hallucinations its perfect.

Okay my favorite thing about you, after only watching you for the first time right now, is that when a survivor stuns you, you congratulate them even though they can’t hear you. That’s so refreshing. I’m so used to DBD killers screaming out obscenities. “ THAT WAS CHEAP CHEAP SHOT BRO, THAT WAS SO CHEAP.”
Same thing with Demi. He's good at being chill about people literally playing the game the way they're supposed to lol.
I loved using Doctor ever since he came out. I do agree that his scare factor has dropped immensely mainly due to the competitiveness of the game, but I do find myself pulling off some jump scares and such, I also tried this method months ago and I believe it worked once and then I forgot about it. The video definitely reminded me of it

I think it would be a really cool, spooky quirk of the hallucinations if they turned at random. That'd scare the survivors from time to time if more killers played the Doctor like this. Wish the game was more scary like you've adapted it to be.
Gotta say, video is incredibly well made, you keep up the pace with content you are presenting while holding attention of the viewer in an incredible way all that just proves your channel deserves a sub

I remember doing this back in the day, the issue back then I believe was that Illusionary Doctors would fade or flicker a bit. I honestly forgot about it and never noticed the (very minor) change.
I still wish some of these illusionary doctors would be coded to be away in line of sight, makes this a hundred times more effective

Honestly a very fun build. As a survivor main I think I'd be annoyed the first time it happened to me, but then I'd respect it. I think it makes the game a lot more fun.
Wish we had more killers that were "less meta" but had a higher gimmick or scare value.

Most of the time, the doctor hallucinations usually scare me when I'm playing doctor than when I'm playing survivor.

My scariest moment in DBD went like this.
It was a normal loading in. I was playing Oni, my main. I had to complete a daily challenge, down survivors while demon rushing.The survivors looked good, but not the best. I thought I'd be able to get the challenge in one game. No offerings. I loaded in. The map was RPD.
I had the same situation with billy

I loaded into eyrie of crows with trapper while using tar bottle and lagwood dye addons.

Would you have any recommendations for someone who doesn't have Dragon's Grip? I don't have Blight or any other killers save for Pinhead so I don't have access to a log of perks.
@@Dinker27 I think Sloppy Butcher or Fearmonger would be an adequate replacement, Fearmonger more so since they wont be able too use an exhaust perk immediately. Should make for a hopefully quick chase.

This is absolute fucking GENIUS! I've been playing Doctor since he came out and honestly thought I'd run out of fun ways to mess with survivors but this? THIS is mad genius! 🤩 I've never thought to abuse the fact that most survivors ignore the hallucinations and use insidious to capitalize on it!

The Doctor needs fixed. Some of the hallucinations should chase the survivor and others track them while standing still.

it would be a lot better if the doctor's clones actually ran in the direction of the survivors
that would make them terrified whenever they see a doctor coming in their direction without knowing if it's real or not lol
That would work very well in Freddy too, whenever the survivors are in the dream state, random Freddys would appear and run in the direction of the survivors scaring them

Loopz I found a disgusting build on ghostface
-lethal persuer
-Hex: undying
-Scourge hook: Pain resonance
-Hex: Face the darkness
Because ghostface can lose his terror radius if you injure one survivor everytime you go stealth everyone is revealed to you fro 4 seconds as long as your totem is up. Lethal also helps to get that quick injure of the beginning. Then addons might be something like leather knife sheath and walleye's matchbook
You know, if DBD actually promoted more of this sort of ambush style play instead of making every new map bigger and open, the game would be significantly more tense to play as survivor, and much less boring.
When you're in a SWF and have engineered your escape plan so well that you rarely if ever have to deviate from the standard looping and body blocking tech (or worse, play a non-game against Starstruck Nurse over and over) all you have to look forward to is hitting those generator skill checks until you're out the gates.
...And of course, it's more fun to play against jumpscare builds in solo queue as well. Much better than watching the frequent brain-donors on your team get lolblapped sight unseen, or let someone die on their first hook because all they care about is their daily tasks to open boxes or slam gens etc.

If I ever work myself up to playing killer on KB+M, I might try this build. Controller on PC is so bloody slow and I don’t know why! 😭
