@@alessandroseverino8222 flip flop and power struggle is quite common for their niche to be honest. Flip flop and unbreakable is a bit more common(especially considering flip flop and power struggle gets combined with unbreakable). The only reason you dont see flip flop and power struggle as much is due to a reduction in pallets and dedicated servers(its possible to drop a pallet without stunning the killer, which isnt intended). So once power struggle basically becomes old DS, but at the cost of a pallet by simply stunning the killer if a pallet drops because of the perk, and weak pallets are being put in the way of hooks more often rather than being at locations where they are literally useless(you have that one indoor pallet on Ormond that is between 2 chairs that not a single killer has issues with getting hits, you might aswell just place a couch and be better off)

Once I got the knight I was very excited to try out this build. But it’s honestly very hard to get the value, considering 3 full set ups requires 9 downed pallets, which is a lot.

Funny thing I've found about Hubris as well: if a Wraith gets burnt, Hubris activates as it counts as a stun, surprisingly.

You are insane! Ever since the ADS nerf I can't play deathslinger, my muscle memory is all fucked up and I get mad at every lost opportunity I could have gotten if they hadn't changed him. It's awesome that you can still pull of trickshots

Did anyone else notice at 5:50 that when Mikaela broke the chain, she activated hubris. Does anyone know why that is?
when a survivor breaks the chain by themselves, it stun deathslinger so it counts to activate hubris
@@StarsMedic really, that actually kinda of crazy. I mean it still does nothing since they are mending, but still could be a quick way to finish certain archives I suppose.
@@terrnoisrp8894 Wiggling off the killer "stuns" the killer, same with flashlight saving, the savior technically "stunned" the killer so that counts too iirc.

Wait hold up - at 5:56 after he wasn’t able to land the sharpshooter hit, Hubris activated. I guess this means the stun he faces after not getting a gun hit must be the same as a pallet stun.
Hubris kicks in whenever stunned. You get stunned when reeling in survivors and the chain breaks. Otherwise not reeling in won’t stun you or leave the survivor with mending state. At which point it’s pointless because the survivor is already injured.
Hi. Slinger main here. Ive been running Nowhere To Hide, Call of Brine, Trail of Torment and Eruption with reload/cooldown add-ons and have been having a blast faking not seeing survivors after a gen kick and surprise attacking them.

Remenber that rubris works with any kind of stun, that includeds deathslinger's broken chain
and in that case it does nothing than inform the survivor you have the perk as when it breaks the survivor gets to hurt state with deep wound. So the exposed does nothing as they are already one hit down.

So what I like about this build, is that each perk does kind of work on its own on this killer, but when you get all 4 perks working in one action, there's almost no counterplay.
Well, aside from predropping I guess, but you're still almost guaranteed giving up a health state for that.
And then the red add-on doesn't synergize into the build whatsoever, but instead gives an alternate win con if they *do* try to just play around your perks. Nasty.
One of the perks I always enjoyed about death slinger is how he triggers forced penance on survivors because they were next to another survivor when the spear connects. Hubris working on him is also amazing.
Always nice to do a little fishing just be sure to set the hook just right and reel em in.

huh, I did not realise (or think about it) that the stun you get when not successfully reeling in a survivor also triggers Hubris (as seen in 8:35). Interesting

yea, i think a hole in this build is that i’ve noticed survivors often pre drop pallets against deathslinger in order to not get hit when shot, so no one tries to go for a stun most of the time
Deathslinger is my main, I was going to try out this exact build but swap out the last perk for Fire up or my test perk slot. Keeping the first 3.
Fun fact as well, Seems like Flashlight blinds are also stuns so if you are good at tracking through blind Hubris still activates on them.
Been doing spicy on any killer with Brutal strength baiting a stun.
Some other TH-camr did a similar build but with pinhead - chaining people after they pallet stun almost always confirmed an insta down for him with Hubris.

Hey spooky idk if you noticed but when slingers chain gets broken that counts as a stun and thus activated hubris each time

This perk is great on any M1 killer. I use it with Starstruck, Spirit Fury and Hex: Blood Favor. Once they get rid of blood favor then they have to deal with Hubris. Makes M1 killer that are lower on the tier list a lot better.

It can still be useful if they pop a syringe the instant they break the chain and you catch up to them just as it heals them to full. A thing that happens all the time, obviously.
